When I finally arrived to my scheduled appointment they were very busy but I expected that since it was on a Monday. I had to wait but it wasn't that long. The staff here is very friendly and I have had nothing but a good experience here. I have been to Physical therapy in the past in "other" places and I have to say Brick-Run has been one of my best experiences. I feel that I have gotten a lot more attention here than I have in the other places I have been too. The physical therapist (Gurjeet) for me is amazing. He really is attentive and clear about what I need to do to feel better. He really spends time to stretch out my shoulder to loosen it up so that I can do some specific exercises. His staff sets me up for my specific sets of exercises. They make sure that I do them correctly. I am supervised until I understand what I am doing. I don't need someone to stare at me to do the exercises because I have to be able to do them on my own so that I can do them at home. I know that I have to put the work in to make my shoulder better but I feel that this office has really helped me with my problem.

After 10 sessions she found out from her ins co. co-payment should have been $15. $600 overcharge in first 10 sessions. She is also at another PT provider. She did get the refund.

The staff at Flex on the Upper West Side (Stephen, Ariella, Michael, Madison) are extremely knowledgeable and really CARE about their patients. I recently completed 20 hours of observation at Flex as part of my PT school application, and watching these guys was a great reminder of why I'm going into the profession myself. Time and time again I saw each one of them exhibit patience, respect, and caring compassion towards every person under their care. The next time I need PT for something, I'm definitely going to Flex, and have already referred one of my friends there. Today I had to cancel my appointment on short notice because the E, F, & R lines are screwed up and I literally had NO WAY of getting to the office. Well, the receptionist "helpfully" suggested I try to take the LIRR to Grand Central and then transfer to the 4/5 train. She said "well, it's the policy," so I told her to cancel all further appointments and f*ck right off. If you can't bend your policy when a client is not at fault, then you're not running a very compassionate business. I would feel differently if I canceled appointments on a regular basis, but I have literally never done so before. This is not a good way to retain clients.
