Usually just one commercial plane in and out at a time. Tiny TSA area. I only saw 2 or 3 agents I believe. Two car rental service desks right next to baggage claim. Very clean airport. Has a restaurant which is not always open but I was able to eat a fresh ham and cheese sandwich on rye when I got there. After going through TSA the weather started getting ugly fast. We waited for our plane but pilot decided not to land due to weather so we waited some more to see if he would come back or send another plane instead. Long story short, we waited almost 5 hours to fly out. During this time, the staff (AND lpassengers) were extremely patient. Most of us missed our connecting flights in Salt Lake. Two employees/ticket agents helped everyone, one by one, either rebook a new connection, arranged for a car for those who chose to drive and kept us updated with possible new departure times weather permitting, etc. They gave us plenty of snacks and water. Some passengers began playing Twister. Airport is a short drive to most nearby hotels, restaurants and shops. About one and a half hour drive into the East entrance of Yellowstone Park.

I found Trailhead via Yelp and their services perfectly met my needs. I was able to arrange the ride from my home in a different state, and pay for the ride so he didn't have to. It was a flat rate which I appreciated and there were several types of payment options. We got confirmation who our driver would be shortly after booking, and we were sent his vehicle and contact info. He then tracked my uncle's flight so he could adjust if it was delayed (and it was). It was a great experience and a huge peace of mind knowing he would be safely tracked by one person who we had communicated with in advance. He texted me when he arrived and I received his text as our plane landed. He told me exactly where he parked his car which 5 steps from the exit of the terminal. On the way he explained many historical facts about Montana, Billings and the town of Absorkee where our Lodge was located. We were staying at the Montana Fly Fishing Lodge and they primarily use his company. His new Lincoln Navigator was clean and very comfortable. When it was time for us to leave, he picked us up and took us back to the airport. We talked about many things. He was such a good conversationalist and such a wonderful person. When we got out of the car, he handed us a package to take with us on the plane. When we opened it up, we saw that it was two fresh chocolate donuts. I have to say, those were the best chocolate donuts I have ever had, and my friend felt the same way. I will always use Trailhead Shuttle and Transport whenever I am in Billings or anywhere near there. They are great!
