Good luck. At the Lakewood ranch location today-After a million pokes (one tech on each side pricking me at the same time) still didn't get what I needed and left with nothing. The techs lacked confidence, skill, and hospitality. The front desk was wonderful-- I needed a CT scan, the tech took me back and told me to drink water and come back seven hours after my appointment time. (Because she couldn't find a vein) And not eat (I had to fast). So my 9:45 appointment turned out to be 3pm. She should have known she lacked the skills, as I do have small veins, instead of making me wait around, not eat, and then go back to get poked so many times all in vain! She says "sorry, try the bee ridge location. They have five people" NO THANK YOU. Such a horrible experience! read more

Friend's daughter needed a wrist MRI. Called and they worked her into the busy schedule, no problem. They Treated her like a princess and got an amazing image for the doctor to use in treatment. Apparently they have the strongest magnet in the area and it gives pristine images for diagnostics and treatment. Very reasonable cash pay pricing as well. So thankful. This is the second time I had a test there. The first time taken in June an MRI and my Doctor after a week plus later had to contact them to get the results. The Center burned a CD for me for my Doctor and it was useless. So once again after this I have to get a Mammogram and decide to give them another try, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me, well that is what happened. It is over a week and half and my test has not even been read yet. They do not have a patient portal and are behind the times for a Imaging Center compared to the others I have been too. My insurance was dropped by the other more capable Imaging Centers and this is what is available to me. I will from now on pay out of pocket to get a test and hopefully get reimbursed something to a more up-to-date facility. read more

My husband had a CT scan Monday at 12:20 in Lakewood Ranch. He called his Dr. for results yesterday and they said they hadn't received them, but would request that they be sent to Dr. Called Dr. today, and still no results. Called Choice in Lakewood Ranch 2:15 pm and only because I called, they said radiologist would be looking at them. Today is Thursday. Isn't there a legal limit for a CT scan to be read? I don't think it is 4 days. I've had wonderful experiences at Choice on Bee Ridge Rd. read more

Stay away from this place. I went for a chest xray and signed in. No one called me back to ask for anything and after waiting a while and seeing other people come and go, I asked whay happened to my appointment. (My name on the sign in sheet had a line drawn through it.) The girl at the desk said, "Oh, fill out this form and they'll be right out to get you." They had totally forgotten me! Within a few minutes a young man came to get me and told me to remove my bra (in a separate room) and put it in my purse, or in a small locker with cups in it. He offered nothing to put it in to keep it clean. There were 2 chairs outside where he said I should sit. I should mention also that there was a strong, annoying smell of paint in that area. When I came out both chairs were occupied and I had had enough. I left and am going elsewhere for my xray. read more

St rd 70 office is the worst.. CT tech missed the vein and then went thru the vein on the other arm.. forget the contrast... if they cant get simple needle insertion correct who knows if they inject the correct contrast. This is the second go around with that office.. NEVER AGAIN- 2 times and OUT! Will pay out of pocket at the hospital lab atleast they know what they are doing. This office is TERRIBLE! I now have a black bruise on the inside of my arm the size of a baseball! thats gonna take forever to heal.. Thanks for nothing! read more

Never go here. EVER. They are rude, unprofessional, incompetent and liars. They scheduled me for an appointment then claimed they never scheduled it. Why would I have phone calls to the business? For conversational purposes? The manager shrugged it off saying it was an "honest mistake." If it was "honest", the person who made the mistake would've owned it and apologized, not lie about not remembering whether or not it happened. The manager, Jimmy, had absolutely no regard to my inconvenience, my time or my concerns. All he said was that he was looking into how it happened. I'll tell you what I "honestly" did -- I called every physician's office I go to and shared my experience. The staff was horrified, some even apologized for Choice and their inability to resolve the issue. They were "honest" when they said they would not refer patients to this business. I had really badly hurt my knee on a run a while back, and after visiting my doctor, I was sent to Choice to get an MRI for a meniscus issue. The lady at the front was very sweet and compassionate, and they were able to get me scheduled in very quickly. The people who helped me with my MRI were very gentle and made the entire process very smooth. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I was referred by my doctor for a knee MRI. They responded quickly to make the appointment. I asked about the price which was $400. That seemed like a lot to pay for one knee, so I called another company and was quoted a price of $225. So I called Choice back to inquire about the high price and was told that it was $400 for two knees, and $200 for one knee, but I neglected to ask for that in writing...big mistake. The next day I went in to have the procedure done and when I asked about the price it was back up to the $400. I said that I had called and was told of the $200 price for one knee. The lady remembered the call but denied having told me of a lower price. I should have walked out, but I am in some pain and just went ahead anyway. Otherwise I was professionally served, no wait time to speak of. But the denial of the revised lower price for one knee leaves me with a bad taste. Dishonesty overrules good service any day. I will not be using this company again, and will definitely get the price in writing from whomever I use in the future. read more

This place is the worst. Only If I could give it a NEGATIVE !!! Receptionist was rude and loud. Not to mention yelling the patients name and then pointing to them if they didnt respond on a dime is inappropriate! This was towards older patients.. give them a break...! and oh the wait of 30 min when I am the only patient isnt acceptable either! I even got their early and they took patients before me that admittedly came in late for their appointments! then they screwed up the simple xray order and wanted me to change out of all my clothes for HAND xrays!! REALLY?? Get you crap together people.. Not to mention they didnt follow xray protocall and cover me with the lead apron and before I could remind her she hid behind her wall and pressed the button... She was insulted when I called her clueless for screwing up a simple order.. well if the shoe fits lady !!!... and then when I left.. CALLING PATIENTS NAMES BEHIND THEIR BACK WHEN YOU DONT THINK THEY CAN HEAR YOU IS WAY OUT OF LINE!!! FAKE plants would die if the had to get testing from here! and try to make a complaint with a supervisor.. oh they put you on hold to never never land! calling insurance company to make a formal complaint..
