There are several good animal feed stores in the area, so I searched for one that stocked a specific brand of dry cat food: Fromm. I found this store online, checked it out, and saw that their website showed that they stocked Fromm dry cat food. The online photo, which is a stock photo that can be found on Fromm's website, shows seven varieties. I stopped at the store when I got to Cheshire. Aside from a quick greeting when I entered the store, I didn't have any interaction with the staff during my visit. The section dedicated to dogs was large, varied and comprehensive. I had some trouble finding the cat section. I went in search of Fromm brand dry cat food and finally found a single large bag and three smaller bags on a table. They were not the variety or size that I was looking for. I decided to leave. Their dog supplies are fairly good, but the forty mile commute to Cheshire Cat and Dog is a little long. I am heading to the local Agway to stock up on Fromm dry food for cats.

The store was well stocked with all kinds of remarkable pet supplies from floor to ceiling but the awesome, adorable puppies in particular caught our eye. One group of dogs were very active while the others were sound asleep. Unfortunately, the prices were astonishing and far exceeded our budget. They were looking to recoup the deficit as the employee undercharged me. The owner basically accused me of trying to get something for free even though I agreed to pay for the EMPLOYEES MISTAKE . If I had been a cash paying customer, they would have had no recourse. Very disappointing that I was treated so rudely. They make supporting local businesses difficult.
