For my first session before my Bachelorette weekend, Emily made me feel so comfortable and did an amazing job making sure everything was even. This tan settled in quick and I had no traces of uneven orange colors anywhere. The solution smelled good too! I left with an exfoliating glove so I could better prep for my next appt in 3 weeks. I visited Emily once more before a wedding and then finally with Jessica for my own wedding. Jessica was so sweet, she checked in on me the following day to make sure I was pleased with everything before I went to Denver to get married! People definitely noticed I looked tan (I did 8 hour and 2 6-hour treatments during my trio) but it looked natural and it was never overkill. I learned the term spaving after coming here and that word is exactly how I would describe my experience - I was absolutely tricked into spending way way WAY too much (about $200) for a spray tan experience for a wedding. I only needed a trial run and a spray for the big day but they convinced me I needed a membership (which required start up fees) and some product that I didn't ask for. I'm the one that signed on the dotted line because I'd had a long day and couldn't keep track of what was happening but I felt so so terrible afterwards and they make it really hard to make changes to your membership. So if you want to come here you obviously can but go in with your guard UP and don't trust anyone there to want what is best for your wallet.

On one occasion, they completely lost all my customer data- including where I had PREPAID for a booth session! I had to dig through my debit card information so I could prove to them I had indeed paid I would be damned if they were going to cheat me out of $25. I went in for a series of 4 spa treatments one day, the girl working could not have been more blase when explaining each treatment. I even had to leave a treatment once, put on a robe and go FIND the employee because the machine had not started properly! Had I not purchased a package deal, I would not have ever gone back after that experience, however, I had pre-paid. I made an appointment for the next session of treatments, drove 20+ miles to Planet Beach only to arrive to the doors locked, lights off, and a note on the door stating they had electrical problems and would not be open for the day. I find that quite interesting considering they are in a strip mall and all the other surrounding businesses had no issues with electricity. A young woman from the salon next door saw me at the door to PB, and said she had just spoken to the owner and asked that he start to call people who had appointments scheduled as many were showing up, but from what she said, he told her he couldn't be bothered with that. Nice- so glad I wasted the gas and mileage that day. Needless to say, I will NOT be back to Planet Beach Contempo Spa!
