Walk-ins are accepted and the staff, which consisted of a 30-something and 40-something woman, on the day I was there were very kind and friendly. The language barrier is steep, leaving one to communicate the service by pointing to the selection from the brochure. The woman who did my neck and foot massage spoke only the words, "Hi" and "Thank you." She did a good job and I asked her name a couple of times (to request her in the future) and she nodded eagerly as if she had no clue what I said. Obviously, that makes things a little difficult when trying to convey information. It's a no-frills place, with lots of massage rooms, obviously I think that's the service they prefer. Truly awful experience. Not only was I hurt because I was touched in ways on my feet that were completely unnatural after I expressed that I had nerve pain and that I had a potential sprained ankle. I was thoroughly impressed with Sunny 08 Massage. I chose the 90 minute combo (45 minutes reflexology on the feet and 45 minute massage on back, shoulders and backs of legs). I was able to get an appointment day-of. The foot soak and reflexology was delightful--it took place in a room with other patrons having the same therapy. Then my oil massage was in a private room with a table. My therapist was a nice gentleman and I felt completely comfortable with him. I chose to completely de-robe for my oil massage and was draped with a sheet only. FYI, your buttocks will be massaged uncovered if you chose this type of massage. The prices were phenomenal and I would go back in a heartbeat. I have a $50 gift certificate for massage. It was given as a Christmas gift in December 2018. Have been unable to make time to go in for massage but did leave a message on their answering machine 3 times. No response. I went in on September 9. There were 3 workers just waiting for clients. When I showed the certificate to the receptionist, she just kept saying "why you wait so long?" "Not good anymore". She insisted certificate was only valid for 3 months. I explained that it didn't say that anywhere and the person who purchased it was not told that. The language barrier was so bad but bottom line according to her was that there were new owners and I waited too long! Will not honor the certificate! Will take my business elsewhere. I was a little hesitant to go because the prices seemed too good to be true, but the massage was wonderful and it took the entire hour (not just 50 minutes like some chains). They don't speak much English, which is fine because I want to relax, not chat. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I was overall very pleased with my experience. Great prices, hospitable. Most don't speak English, and if not used to massage or only used to American massages, educate yourself before blaming them for the experience. Many types of other massage don't drape as much, or massage areas of the body not typical in America -they're about middle of the road with this - not as invasive as some, but more so than the average American practitioner (bum will be massaged, inner thighs will be massaged). I contacted the business via email to resolve these concerns, but they have not responded. This leaves me obligated to warn the larger public about my experience. I went in to get a massage and had a coupon for a 45.00 special. Bonnie told me it would be 50.00 and I said fine. For some reason she called her boss to clarify the coupon which was fine but took about 10 minutes. She proceeded to give me a wonderful massage and I thanked her and gave her a $10 tip which was 20% of the cost of the massage. she told me that a $10 tip was not enough for her hard work and do not come back. I was shocked because I have been to her several times always tipping her from 20 to 25%. I tried to get ahold of the owner but there is no way to reach her on the website. I would like for her to know how rude Bonnie wants to a repeat customer. if she acted in this fashion with me I'm sure she has done it before. there are many spas in Fort Collins to choose from with kinder people working for them. it is really too bad. read more
