Terrible service, waitress was not very friendly. Menu said taco was $4.50 and we were charged $8 PER TACO. It was not disclosed otherwise we would not have ordered. Waitress said that the menu prices can change at any time.. will not return , bad customer service and way overpriced. read more

First time eating here after listening advertising in the 1450 Spanish radio. Not disappointed with the food. The carne enchilada Cemita was delicious( didn't have pápalos), both salsas taste good but the green one rules LOL. To drink I got Horchata this taste as my mom's, home made. I definitely will be back now with wife. I know the travel from the North side of the city will be worthy. I just hope next time I can get the pápalos in the cemita. read more

They need to make their kitchen personnel more efficient to push the food out faster. Been here before it was okay, wanted to give them another chance. Ordered Cecina and 2 sopes off menu at 18.99 a bit high but okay lets try it. Surprised when bill came 25.99 questioned it they said subject to change lol Cecina was a very small portion, not enough to charge 7 dollars more. Owner came out and said this time he will give me difference back. Lol never going back. Don't take my word for it go eat and get robbed yourself and passed it on. I give this place another year. Fantastic addition to the Palos Hills area that desperately needed a proper and authentic Mexican restaurant. Personally have had the pleasure of trying out several of their options between burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas and haven't been dissatisfied yet. let's start off with the service. Good service but they took a too long with taking our order and bring enteries even tho there weren't many tables occupied. When we came in we didn't get any word from the waiters saying anything about the menus. We saw that they gave menus to other people but not us, turns out we had to scam the menu because they had a QR code but they didn't tell us anything. With the food, we ordered cemitas, we ordered the Atomic cemita and Milanesa de Pollo cemita, we give the Atomic cemita an 7/10, and the Milanesa de Pollo a 6/10. The Agua de Jamaica is really sweet, which we didn't like as much. From what i have learned, a traditional cemita is supposed to have pápalo, but these cemitas it didn't have any. but overall somewhat a good place to eat read more

We used to come here a lot and our bill would be typically $55-$65 and I was happy to pay for it because the food is good. Today we came in and the young guy gave us a menu not saying a word. Then I asked if they had any really spicy salsa and he said "no" and walked away. We waited for 20 minutes and didn't get a drink or place an order so we decided to leave. I told him I'd pay for the chips because we were sick of waiting and he charged $3 for those! We left and spent $50 at another taco place which sucks because I enjoyed it here. But, their poor customer service, lack of manners lost a customer. If the place is busy, tell the table. Don't leave them waiting like idiots for even a cup of water. Apologize for the delay and offer to make it up to them. Communication is very important and we felt so dumb sitting there for 20min and there was 1 other table. read more

Ive recently moved to the Palos Hills area and have constantly been searching for truly authentic mexican restaurants and I happy to say I may have found one. I have passed by cholulas a couple of times but the name did not spark a huge interest. That changed after I ordered a steak torta that had decent meat , ( not chewy or tons of fat). The torta had tasty beans, fresh lettuce and the salsas also had good flavors. I hope to be back as I saw they had margaritas and Cemitas. read more

It's the best Mexican restaurant I've been in, very good quality of stake and chicken and there sea food is delicious, you must try it.

I've wanted to love this restaurant but every time we've ordered from here the order is either wrong when we get home or they don't make our order at all. 3x we've placed orders for pick up and all 3x told on 20 min only to show up 25 minutes later to no food. In a small strip mall, found this gem thanks to Yelp, rolled in and was served right away. Got the steak tacos and they were very good. A lot of flavor.
