Ordered a beef freid rice with added vegetables, crab cheese wontons and a moo goo gai pan online for pickup. I was in the area and wanted to grab a quick dinner. The shop itself could use a little love both on the inside and out but the employees were friendly and attentive getting my recently places togo order out to me promptly. There was a table with dirty dishes and food among other things sitting right near the entry which was a little off putting. Overall I would eat here again. This little place has been in Pueblo for YEARS! That says a lot, don't you think! It is small and I only do take out, but they do the best Kung Pao Chicken I've ever had. I have always had friendly service and I will continue going! read more

Never tried the food, left before we ordered. Service was awful, waiter barely knew anything about the food, and the waiter also tried to make us order rice separately until we pointed out that it was included on the menu. The place also did not feel very clean, and the lighting was strange, the whole wall was essentially windows, the seats were uncomfortable, and just overall a bad feeling. read more

This was our fourth time ordering from Chong's. I have always been impressed with their homemade eggrolls, which separated them from other Chinese restaurants. This most recent time the eggrolls were tiny and tasted like something you can buy in the frozen section of the grocery store. I ordered Pepper Shrimp, and all the Shrimp needed to be peeled which defeats the purpose of having all the season and flavor on the outside, very disappointed and that meal was more expensive than other Chinese restaurants around town. Eater beware! This restaurant has failed 2 health inspections with major violations twice in last 9 months. Fox 21 news reported this tonight and owners didnt even return the reporter's calls to address the issues. Not very smart all around. read more

I honestly feel like this place was rated higher than it should be. Food was okay, I wouldn't say it was so amazing and that you should go out of your way to get it. Wow! Love it here. My husband and I are new to town, our first experience here. Promptly greeted with a smile. Highly recommend the wonton soup- awesome flavor and loaded with wontons. Family owned restaurant with an interesting mix of Asian fair, I love their Vietnamese egg rolls and their Pho is delicious. This is the place to try some comforting Asian foods you may have not tried. People are friendly but beware, place is pink and run down so can be intimidating but once you go in, you feel right at home. read more

I ordered the Sesame Chicken and Hunan Beef. The chicken was incredibly tough, and the beef was so chewy it was actually a little raw I found out after closer inspection, which caused violent food poisoning 4-5 hours after eating a small amount of each dish. I spent Friday night cuddling with the toilet. I strongly suggest to avoid this restaurant at all costs! Food is good. Service is TERRIBLE! Delivery took +1 hour and the order we received was incorrect. When we called to let them know we didn't get what we ordered we were told the driver stopped by and called.....no, they did not because we've been home in the living room the entire time and the cell never rang!!! I hate getting food from a place I never ate at before and this place is the reason why! Their food is NASTY! Ordered a few things but the one thing that stands out in my mind was the egg foo young, it was just flat out disgusting! It smelled like hot garbage and I am not kidding! Their "large" order of anything is not so large, I'd hate to see a "small. " Over priced garbage is what they sell.
