We ordered the Kung pan chicken and shrimp and vegetable lunch plates. They came with soup which was a very good egg drop. The plates also came with an egg roll, wonton, and rice. Ordered a bunch of items since Chinese takeout can be hit or miss. The egg drop soup and wonton soup were both pretty good, as were the fried dumplings (pot stickers). Ordered the combo fried rice and it only had pork in it, no beef, chicken or shrimp ($4 upcharge I won't get back), the rice itself was good but the pork was dry. The sweet and sour pork batter was pretty standard but the pork inside was dry and chewy. Last but not least was the general tsao which wasn't edible, the chicken had a strange consistency and the sauce had a cloying after taste. The struggle to find good Chinese food in Pueblo is real, but in the mean time, Pueblo Dragon will have to do. read more

This is a vegan review. I drove by this place many times and finally came here with a friend. Thankfully the menu had a good amount of vegetarian and vegan options. I was having a difficult time deciding whether I wanted the spicy tofu or the kung pao tofu, I asked the waitress/owner about the difference between the two and she was very helpful and accommodating. As I ate the food, I realized that I forgot to ask if they have msg in their food which I always worry about at every Chinese restaurant. It wasn't until after the meal, I asked and she told me that they don't use msg at all in any of their dishes. I was relieved and I had peace of mind. I now have reason to return here again. I look forward to trying what other vegan options they offer on the menu that I have yet to try. read more

We ordered delivery from the new location in Pueblo West and it was great! The delivery was fast and the food was fresh and hot upon arrival. The person who took my order over the phone as well as the delivery driver were nice and courteous. My only negatives were that you couldn't order online - the website needs updated so you can order directly from the site (it looks like the error is for all locations - it's a quick fix if you need help please reach out). The food was good and fresh, but didn't have a ton of flavor and the really strange thing was the hot mustard had zero spice. Other than that everything was great and we'd definitely order again! (hopefully online next time). Also, for the store I'd send out less condiments to help out your bottom line because we definitely didn't need half of what we got :) read more

We have been going to the Pueblo Dragon location at the Regency shopping center for years, so we were very excited when they recently opened a location in Pueblo West a few weeks ago. Our family has ordered food several times from their new location, and have been very happy with the freshness of the food until tonite. The vegetable egg rolls were soggy and tasted like the oil used to fry them was burnt. The lo mein was also cooked in the same burnt oil. The shrimp fried rice was okay, but not as good as they usually prepare at the south location. Overall, the meal at the Pueblo West was disappointing. We will make the drive to the south side next time. read more

Ordered the orange chicken lunch special and they were super accommodating with my request to swap the soup out for an extra wanton. I really like the taste of the food in this place! My daughter loves their egg drop soup. One time while eating there, I received a half cooked egg roll, but they replaced it immediately. Now, I hate that they are soooo slow. Slow to get the order, slow to get my food and slow to get my check. It take more than a hour to get in and out of this place for lunch. Another thing that bother me is that two times already I have ordered something to go and when I open the bag later on, is something different or something that I ordered is missing. It seems to me that the quality of the food has gone down lately. The last two orders we had, three weeks and a few days ago, seemed blander and, overall, less tasty than usual. I hear here whenever I want green egg drop soup. Their noodles are no joke for on top of soup order extra. I like soy in soup and once I've had soup with noodles I add sweet and sour to dip those crunchiest in. Heaven for lunch low cal and did I mention delicious. i order chinese from here occasionally because it's the best chinese in pueblo. is it great? no. is it edible? sometimes. it's better than anywhere else, but that's like being the best at playing the kazoo. anyhow, i ordered the mongolian chicken. it was kinda spicy. not crispy. it came with a half container of undercooked onion. rice was a little crunchy. eggrolls suck. i have really low expectations of food in colorado so i wasn't disappointed but you can definitely have your mind blown by the dirtiest, rat infested hole in the wall chinese food take out in nyc compared to absolutely anything here. if you're starving and tired and want to be unimpressed, give it a try! read more

We haven't found good chinese food in pueblo until we tried Pueblo Dragon! We picked up some lunch and it was delicious. It is not open for eating in dining room since covid but that is fine. We had the sesame chicken, it was great but not spicy at all. Hubby ordered extra spicy and there was no heat to it at all. Like i said this is the best chinese we have been able to find in this area. It was a generous portion and excellent price. I gave 5 stars even though the food wasn't spicy it was delicious. I have a tough time reviewing this restaurant. I think they try and the servers were friendly, but in the end, the food was just ok. Everything was SALTY. I'm guessing they may have a difficult time getting in Asian vegetables, because the veggies were pretty generic (broccoli, carrots, etc.). We had the BEST SERVICE EVER HERE! I was SO impressed with how nice, professional, and friendly they were. I had a group of people and needed to do some important paperwork and the staff was accommodating and very appropriate.
