Sarina did my hair cut and color March 3 and I'm so happy. I think possibly my highlights for the zipper fix area are fading faster than normal so I have questions about maintenance, but OMG, she totally fixed the mess-up that Fox and Belle salon did in late December. Monica restored my faith that I could get the same color services in the Bay Area that I got in Seattle in Denver and without spending allegedly 4 hours in the salon. Sarina did "zipper" foils at my part/crown to fix part of the issues created by the other salon, and then other foils throughout to bring everything back up to the right color/tone I wanted. Then she gave me a super awesome technical cut that restored me to what I like instead of the flowey/feathery stuff done by the other salon that didn't go with my face right or my hair texture. Sarina took less than 2.5 hrs to do the consult + zipper foils + all over foils + technical cut + blowdry/style and it was $362 all inclusive. It's so nice to know I've found a local color and cut artist that I can trust. I totally recommend Sarina 100%. read more

I admit it, I am the person who messed up, to start. I placed my order online for a haircut. I did not realize I was supposed to pick layered cut. My bad. So I basically paid $70 plus tip for someone to simply cut my hair, no nuance, no layers, nothing. It is a cute cut, but as a woman with curly hair, I know that in two weeks it will look like crap and I will have to spend another $70. The thing that upsets me is that when I asked if she layered it (because when she said she was done with the cut, I asked because I did not remember seeing her layer it) she said yes, she did. No, she did not, and she did not correct me or inform me that I should pay more for that service. I am very sad. I will not go back. Was going to get my hair colored next week as well, now I have find someone to fix the cut and color my hair. Anyone have a good suggestion? read more
