Grilled chicken, kale, feta, onions, balsamic vinaigrette

I've been meaning to try this spot! I'm glad I did. Friendly and efficient staff! Ordered a salad which is a great portion for the price! Paid under $8 for a salad with grilled chicken, kale, onions, and feta. Just a warning if you don't like spicy foods- their grilled chicken is made spicy. I LOVE IT! I will definitely be coming again to try more of their menu items.

I got an "italian sandwich" for 8.25 that is literally just salami and cheese and bread. It says clearly on the menu that it comes with pepperoni, soppresata, and pesto sauce but all I have here is just salami and cheese. And for 8.25!!! Never Again.

Don't let the gas station venue put you off! This is a fantastic little sandwich shop. The space is pristine and the sandwiches are super tasty and freshly made to order and customizable with a wide variety of fresh toppings. It's a tad pricey as my Italian sandwich was 8.25 but it was scrumptious. The staff was also very friendly and they packed it up "to-go" very nicely.

This place was already closed 30 minutes but the Young lady still accommodated me and kept the place open. Beautiful presentation of food in a beautiful box ... just beautiful. The crispy chicken sandwich is rather spicy. Was not expecting that. $7.95 for soup and sandwich. I think they made a mistake though. I think it was only supposed to get a half a sandwich. Glad I got the whole thing because it's not a very big sandwich. The tomato basil bisque soup is delightful with little chunks of tomato and a wonderful aroma. It is absolutely delicious and they gave me a generous portion. I'm definitely going to come back and try the Sriracha Bowl and the hummus and Falafel pita, and the Falafel Bowl. What an exciting place to have in Middletown. It's something that I would have normally expected in Ventura California. I will be returning thank you for accommodating me.

And our meal came with soup, miyeok guk (traditional Korean seaweed soup). I love this soup; it's usually served on birthdays to celebrate life, so you don't usually find this in other Korean restaurants. It's light and savory. The owner is really sweet, but I'm glad the restaurant is thriving from the last time I was here.

The single hostess wasn't necessarily unpleasant but looked rather listless on her phone while we made our orders with her. I got the Jeyook Bokkeum (spicy pork) with purple rice. Can't really complain; it wasn't incredible, but it wasn't bad either. Banchan (side dishes) were decidedly average, however. We ordered the black sesame ice cream but halfway while eating it, we realized it wasn't actually black sesame (or at least didn't taste like it). Disappointing, but not enough to fully ruin the experience. Prices weren't great considering the quality of the food or location, but not prohibitive either. Considering the paucity of Asian food in Middletown, I'll give Seoul Sizzle a pass, but against greater competition, it probably wouldn't have lasted long in NYC.

I ordered the enchiladas. They were a little sweeter than I expected, but still enjoyable overall. My husband had the Barn BLT, and he absolutely loved it. They have a huge drink menu with plenty of options, plus daily specials, which gives you a great reason to come back and try something new. Overall, it was a very enjoyable brunch experience with good food, great drinks, and welcoming service. We'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu and take advantage of their specials!

I feel very mixed about writing this review!…read more First the ambiance- it's a rustic barn feel. It was fine nothing to complain about and the bathroom was clean. Next the service- it was extremely slow. Like super slow but I will say the staff was very nice and it seemed like our waitress was waiting on many tables by herself so I wasn't mad about how slow it was. But it should be noted. Now the Drinks. I truly don't know how I feel! My friend and I both ordered drinks. She ordered the Pom-Amore which is supposed to have fresh pomegranates in it and an edible flower as a garnish per the description. It had neither! She did have cranberries in it, maybe they ran out? I personally don't like that, they should have informed her they didn't have the right garnishes what if she was allergic? I had the cranberry limoncello which was supposed to have cranberries in it and it had none, hilarious I know! On top of that my glass was dirty had something caked on the inside the glass (like my straw wouldn't move it off) so they had to remake it. But it did taste very good. Lastly the food- My friend ordered the burger she said it was very greasy, I didn't try it so I'm not sure. She had the hand cut fries with it and I did try them and they were delicious! The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. However, they were delicious! It came with this spicy sauce that was so good. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. Again, the waitress was extremely nice so of course I still tipped 20%!

Will say the dining room is beautiful and spacious. Had to get someone attention to order in, kind of weird but it was fast enough. So when The guy was showing me the menu, was cool of him to make suggestions since first time for me, he did jokingly say the end part of menu is popular since the Americanized Chinese food, I laughed and am like nah am here for the traditional, he give his suggestions in the traditional menu of what's popular, but I settled on beef ribs, white rice, pork dumplings and strawberry boba slush. For the drink, it was very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet, though I wish it had strawberry boba over the tapioca pearls. The pork dumplings were piping hot and very fresh, plenty of filling inside and not greasy. The dipping sauce was tangy and very vinegary forward, definitely a flavor trip. The beef ribs, were so melt in your mouth tender and flavorful, I really like gravy type sauce it was bathed in and really great ladled on the rice. Do wish I had more ribs though, since definitely the part of the meal, plus the plate it comes on, sells the meal. I did really appreciate how kind the people were here and very friendly as well.
