Just picked up some Wonton soup from Lucky Inn in Maybrook. Always a pleasant experience. The food is always delicious!

The meat was so hard in the dish that I got, that it was impossible to chew. I had to throw the entire meal away.

Classic upstate Americanized Chinese spot. Really can't go wrong with anything here. Consistently good. Clean spot. Fast delivery.

Amazing! Great authentic Chinese food! (Szechuan cuisine)…read more The owners are super nice if you eat in, but I usually get it door dashed over. Portions are large and the food is well cooked and fresh! I usually get the chengdu chicken, the beef with fresh hot veggies and the egg plant with garlic. Usually whatever is on the Szechuan cuisine list is my go to lol! Definitely a great addition to Middletown! Go try it out! Won't be disappointed!

Definitely I will. So the warm Dan Dan noodles were good, well spiced, but not overwhelming and noodles themselves were chewy. Sizzling shrimp, first huge jumbo shrimp so very generous on portions, plus cooked just right and bathe completely in the sauce, plenty of diced onions and peppers and mildly spicy over all. Chicken in chili oil was my favorite, I mean a whole cut chicken fit in that container, both white and dark meat, was tender and moist, plus the chili oil was just right spicy level without being assertive. This place I find special considering it's more of authentic Chinese cuisine rather than the typical Americanized version, that alone is a big draw for this place.

Will say the dining room is beautiful and spacious. Had to get someone attention to order in, kind of weird but it was fast enough. So when The guy was showing me the menu, was cool of him to make suggestions since first time for me, he did jokingly say the end part of menu is popular since the Americanized Chinese food, I laughed and am like nah am here for the traditional, he give his suggestions in the traditional menu of what's popular, but I settled on beef ribs, white rice, pork dumplings and strawberry boba slush. For the drink, it was very refreshing and just the right amount of sweet, though I wish it had strawberry boba over the tapioca pearls. The pork dumplings were piping hot and very fresh, plenty of filling inside and not greasy. The dipping sauce was tangy and very vinegary forward, definitely a flavor trip. The beef ribs, were so melt in your mouth tender and flavorful, I really like gravy type sauce it was bathed in and really great ladled on the rice. Do wish I had more ribs though, since definitely the part of the meal, plus the plate it comes on, sells the meal. I did really appreciate how kind the people were here and very friendly as well.

CASH ONLY I'm going…read moreto shit on this place! (1) because the food was bland and (2) in the twenty first century they don't take debit cards. First off the food is bland and it didn't go down well till after I added salt to it. I've never added salt or anything to Chinese food but this food needed saving. I guess when this is the only Chinese joint within like 15 miles you have no choice if you want to indulge in some form of Asian Chinese even if it tastes like shit. Secondly we are in the twenty first century so anyone who thinks cash is king must still think bartering is king as well since that's what we did before cash was even a thing. The future is cashless, embrace it or shut up. I would have even been fine paying a debit/credit card processing fee for the convenience but clearly that's not an option. I should have attempted to barter since they're living in prehistoric times. Thankfully I had some museum quality pieces of currency in my car which I used to trade for food. They also don't offer heat because I felt like I walked into a walk in refrigerator, it was colder in the store than it was outside. Felt good but dang had I sat down to eat, my food would have gotten cold before I could finish it. I won't be going back ever! I'd soon rather have the pizza shop make me "Chinese" food, they probably would do a better job.
