That made me wonder why this isn't an option at the 125th Street location. We shouldn't have to buy 4 muffins when we only want 1 or 2. Clearly the downtown locations understand this, since many flavors are available as singles or in 2-packs. I know some muffins uptown can be bought one at a time, but a lot of the best flavors can't. Downtown, most flavors were available as singles or in packs of 2. Please give uptown customers the same choices. Thank you.

While Whole Foods can be pricey for what you get, I do like certain deals you can find, particularly those for Prime Members. (Slightly confused though, the "Local" signage above the Gotham Greens set said Providence, Rhode Island... which ain't "Gotham".) This time, grabbed a half loaf of Whole Foods own fresh, flavorful, sliced Rosemary Sourdough Bread - perfect for my comfort food lunch, a tuna fish sandwich! (The tuna salad on rosemary bread is fantastic combo!) Like how the reasonably priced 1/2 loaf selection is right where you enter. Also that the security guard and cashiers wish you to "Have a great day!" It makes this Whole Foods a super customer experience!

Since I happened to be in East River Plaza, I checked out the Aldi located there. Mixed impression: lines were super long, with no self check-out. I guess this curbs thievery. The store was messy -- not as bright and light as other Aldis. While I noticed what appeared to be guards up front, I saw nobody tending the floor. On the plus side -- this store stocks everything I buy at their other locations: produce, garlic-stuffed olives, tenderloin, frozen vegetables... and their prices are comparable. I'll likely come back, but reliant on public transportation, I'll need someone to help me schlep home my purchases. It's not worth waiting on a long line when I'm limited with what I can buy. Sometimes a couple of dollars saved isn't worth the hassle, and there go my savings if I take a cab!

Fresh Direct sent her a message that those extra items were not available and issued a refund. We sat expecting the Thanksgiving dinner meal to be delivered. When the delivery came all he left was the tater tots and fries and not the Thanksgiving meal. She asked him and he said it's lost or that was all he had for her. She called and most of our items for Thanksgiving are sold out now. She's making arrangements for a change in menu and they say they will now deliver our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow. At least she's working from home tomorrow because I am in no condition to do anything! Of all the times for my daughter to be stressed this is the worst. One Star!

It's a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but I just needed a cold drink. It's a casual cafe but comfortable, with plenty of bar seating (where I sat to enjoy my wine and a book). The service was friendly and quick. Not a bad place for a snack or a refreshment.
