We went in for lunch, and they were busy in a good way. My brother ordered Tom Yum soup (spicy) and was impressed it brought the heat. I ordered the laab (pork) which was delicious. If you ask, they will bring the hot vinegars and chili pastes to the table which are a delightful must. Highly recommend this hidden gem. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find a Thai restaurant that was in Conroe. I was seated promptly along with my wife. The menu had great variety and showed pictures of the dishes (always helpful). I got the green curry and my wife received the pad Thai. All were healthy portions of great Thai food. A lot more affordable than Thai Cottage at College Park. We went to Chorfa Thai Cuisine and ordered the lunch special. It came with soup, a spring roll, and noodles. Everything was delicious and very authentic! The restaurant is huge with plenty of seating, and it was extremely clean. The service was great and fast. We also tried the coconut ice cream, and it was very good too. So good that I forgot to take a poc. We didn't order any drinks, but they have beer and wine at very affordable prices. Everyone should try this place! We will definitely come back. read more

My dad has the flu, came here and picked up what he was craving for him. The young lady behind the counter was very rude, giving me judgmental looks throughout the 5 minutes I was in there. She handed me my order, then turned to two guys at the bar and said "they ordered mango sticky rice" and when the guys asked who, she pointed to me and said "them!" very loudly. Then as I left I did not get a "have a good day" The only word the young lady said to specifically me throughout our whole interaction was "hello". Being hungry for curry we were delighted to read the glowing reviews on Chorfa.. Unfortunately, Yelp reviewers really let us down on this one. We ordered the lunch seafood pad Thai and yellow curry chicken. The spring rolls were so so and the soup was so salty it was inedible. The entrees were also disappointing. The seafood muscles & cucumbers were like trying to eat rubber bands. The curry chicken was also overcooked while the potatoes in the curry were undercooked. The noodles and the curry both were very tasty and enjoyable and no complaint there mainly just the overcooked proteins . Server said the regular chef was in the kitchen so I'm pretty sure we won't be back. read more

I was looking for Thai food and there are a few places in Conroe. I checked the reviews and they had a few 5 star reviews in the past couple of weeks. To me, that's a good sign. The waitress was very nice. We were surprised at how much space they had. A lot of options on the menu. Unfortunately, our food didn't have the flavor we were looking for. It was about a step above being flavorless. I get my normal beef and broccoli and they sauce was more like soup than a sauce. My fiancé got the vegetable plate with chicken, specifically asking if it had a lot of flavor and it did not. Needless to say, we were disappointed. The place itself is clean with nice staff. Others might like the food, but it wasn't good enough for us to come back unfortunately. I do wish the business the best of luck. read more

This is one of the best Thai places I've been to in the area. I was really pleasantly surprised by the amount of protein options you're able to choose from in a lot of the dishes and have never been able to choose salmon on my pad see ew. Really enjoyed the flavors and the rest of my group had nothing but positive things to say about their meals too. I placed a pick up order so I wasn't inside for long but the atmosphere was warm and seemed very clean. The staff were nice too. It's not too expensive but also not cheap either. The portions you get for the price though seemed very fair. If I had to pick something to change, I'd honestly love more vegetables. The way their sauce soaked into the broccoli was very delicious and left me craving more of the broccoli by itself. I'd definitely come back again to try the other items on their menu. read more

Finally We have excellent Thai food in Conroe! We ordered Gyozas, wings, Tom Yum soup, Yellow curry, Massaman curry and chicken fried rice and everything was sooo good! The gyozas, Tom yum soup and yellow curry were probably the cream of the crop but every dish was a hit. We will probably be back within a week I was told by the chef that this is actually the second location with the first being in Louisiana and very popular. I have taken both my daughters here with in the last week both times food has been excellent. Be careful with the Thai spice level hot is super hot just an FYI it's not like jalapeño hot it's more like a ghost pepper hot not sure what kinda peppers are used in Thai food. The Thai food at Chorfa is excellent! I've enjoyed their food all four of my visits. It looks like a real place, but on my recent visit I noticed they also have another larger dinning area to accommodate larger parties.
