    A15. WOODLANDS Sampler

Charm Thai is a solid spot with a great ambiance and a welcoming vibe. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the overall experience really enjoyable. The food was good, but not the most memorable Thai I've had. The flavors were there, just missing a bit of depth that would have made the dishes stand out. The sampler, in particular, felt a little underwhelming. Our fried spring rolls were frozen still, definitely a skip as nothing was that worthwhile! The Khao Soi had good flavor, but the crunchy noodles on top weren't actually crunchy and ended up being hard to eat. The Tom Yum leaned heavily on tomato flavor--still a good soup, just not what I typically expect, as the tomato really took the forefront. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with great atmosphere and solid service, but the food didn't quite reach the level I was hoping for.

I was impressed. The food was real good, customer service was good and the inside was decorated very nicely. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the Woodlands area for sure. No doubt about it.! Food: we started off with the crab ragoons and they were simply amazing. Made fresh, and made to perfect perfection! The pineapple fried rice was very good. I went with level two and let me tell you what it was pretty hot. I ordered an extra cashews and it really made the dish so much better. Amazing I cannot wait to try more things off their menu. The customer service was top-notch. The young man that helped us was very personable and got our food out quickly. I thought the inside of the restaurant was decorated very nice. Nice lunch crowd. But I'll let me tell you what the food came out quickly. Easy five star review

Charm Thai has become our go to Thai restaurant in the woodlands, with the consistency in their tasty preparations, delightful service, and cozy ambiance. Their good is just delicious and comes with wonderful presentation. They have the best chicken wings in town, a balance of crispy, tangy, sweet and spicy - they just make your mouth water even with just thinking about them. All their curries are tasty and have the option to adjust spice. Drunken noodles or Pad Khe Mau, Pineapple Fried Rice, Mango Curry and Thai Khao Soi remain our ultimate favorites and go to orders. Spicy garlic edamame, spring rolls and Tom Kha for appetizers and mango sticky rice to sum up the meals would be my ideal meal recommendation!

Was craving Thai food and found Charm Thai Kitchen & Bar in the Woodlands area. Really love the interior decor. Service was great. Aside from the shrimp cakes tasting mid, everything else was amazing! - love the Thai tea, just the right sweetness - Tom Yum (good broth, will do medium spice instead of mild in the future) - Thai Khao soi (mild spice, with chicken; savory!) - Pad khe mao (medium spice, with shrimp; tasty, wished there was more noodles) - highlight of the dinner was the Tex-Thai BBQ Fried Rice (so delicious, meat fell off the bone) I would come back to dine if I'm ever in the area again!

We went on Mothers day so it was pretty full! I do think they should have at least one more server. Our waiter had many tables. Now for the food, it was delicious!! The orange chicken was in my top 2 orange chickens i've ever had! Phenomenal. I have had better drunken noodles, but they were still good.

Wonderful charming Thai restaurant with a menu full of authentic dishes with curry and of course noodles. I love Pad Thai and this is one of the best I've had in the Woodlands. Enjoyed some spring rolls to start. They have fresh or fried. As with most Thai restaurants be careful how spicy you order things. They can do spice on the side. The mango sticky rice was to die for. Charm has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar. Enjoy the drink of the month. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive. Perfect for lunch or date night. I will be back!

Thai + Texas BBQ fusion is just the type of wildly creative food that I live for! Who knew that these flavors would meld so well together! I got a traditional Thai dish, Kai Soi which is hard to find and was done so well! Rich curry and plentiful noodles and garnish. The portion could feed two easily. Also ordered mango sticky rice for dessert which had the freshest most delicious mango slices I have consumed in a long time. But the star of the show was the Thai brisket fried rice topped with BBQ ribs... It was fusion cuisine at its best melding some great Texas smoky meaty BBQ with perfectly cooked and flavorful Asian fried rice. I could have eaten it all myself but it is definitely enough to share! Would love to try their new establishment Charm Taphouse and BBQ where they have even more crazy dishes like red curry Mac and cheese! Bravo!

Shrimp pad Thai. Maybe think of your normal spice rating level and drop it a number. You can always self up it after you receive your meal. Level 2 was max for me. Service was excellent

I dined at this restaurant on Friday evening, August 8th (location: 4223 Research Forest Dr Ste 100, The Woodlands, TX). Later that night, I became extremely ill. After several days of worsening symptoms, I ended up in the hospital, where testing confirmed I had contracted an E. coli infection. Another member of my dining group experienced the same illness following our visit. We both shared their ribs as an appetizer, so we're thinking it wasn't cooked properly.. I've reached out to the restaurant twice to share this information, but I have not received any response. I'm very disappointed that, as a customer, they've shown no concern for my well-being or the seriousness of this matter. I've reported the incident to the appropriate health authorities so it can be properly investigated. I strongly urge management to take immediate action to ensure food safety and protect future customers. I'm very disappointed at the lack of hospitality and care following my visit.

When you've fasted for a couple of days, you plan your first meal with celebratory passion. Charm did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated with a Tuk Tuk outside, it lives up to its name. More importantly the food sings. Looked so good and smelled amazing so I nearly missed taking pictures. Our server was quick and reasonably attentive making for a pleasant return to eating.

Nat is a wonderful person! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and knew exactly how to serve us and our tastes. We are so excited to come back to try some more + the happy hour!! They keep the place very clean and organized, with adorable decor and wall painting! My personal favorite is their pineapple curry! The spice level was 12/10 and the creaminess of the soup was just perfect. Left you feeling satisfied and light, not at all too overbearing and rich. I also loved the Egg noodle soup (the third picture). The toasted egg noodle is fun and delicious! Pretty cool!! We got their mango sticky rice for a refreshing, light treat. Everything and everyone is top tier here!

Date night dinner! My husband was tasked with making reservations and Thai was our request. After lots of research he found Charm. Let me just say...it did not disappoint. We ordered the special blue dumplings only served on the weekend and they were so delicious. Definitely don't miss the roti and curry! Yum! I also ordered my usual when I eat Thai - Khoi sao gai. I have eaten it at numerous Thai restaurants and Charm is by far the best I've ever had! We also ordered mixed drinks, but skipped dessert. Definitely want to try the mango sticky rice next time.

I have been here a few times and it instantly became my long awaited fave Thai place in the Woodlands. I have been here three years and finally found amazing Thai food. I have had more than what is pictured but everything I've had is delicious. The service here is outstanding every single time. There have been times when they were short staffed and had one chef in the kitchen. Believe me the wait was worth it and the kindness shown and constant compassion for us waiting was so sweet. I would wait anytime for that kind of service. I love the decor as well, it's so nice and upscale. Really wonderful, if you haven't been try the fresh rolls, any curry, and my fave the mango sticky rice. Can't wait for another visit. Thank you for always being so kind! I met Sue tonight and had a great experience with her and the gentleman at the bar.

They need to put a sign up on the tiny road so you don't pass it up. First I will say I came here for a baby shower in one of the private rooms they offer. I cannot comment on the service because I did not need any. I also cannot comment on the food; it was provided by the party. What I can comment on is the parking - it was absolutely horrible! And that is being kind. They had a few spaces available in a field but to get to those spaces you had to drive through a 5 foot hole that was at least 4 feet deep! Thanks but no thanks I don't do off roading! At 2pm this place was packed! There was a DJ, people everywhere, small children everywhere and quite a few dogs. All in all, I am giving the stars for private room because that is what my experience consisted of.

The semi-off-roading experience driving up the long driveway did not reassure me that I had found the spot either. Limited parking spaces were even more limited due to giant potholes filled with water. I had to move my car because once I parked I couldn't get out without getting my shoes soaked. Venue itself is a huge warehouse space. Large shaded deck spans the building. Tables are picnic tables. Great airflow inside with large fans. There is a separate room attached to the large main hall with some high tops and foosball table. Live music this evening with local youth bands from School of Rock. Other touches around the room reinforced their community support (local art on the walls, silent auction for a charity). Great beer selection- B52 beers ranging from IPAs, Pils, Ale, coffee porter. I tried the Bishop Crackberry Cider- just enough sweetness and perfect for the summer night. Service was nice. Food is served outback from a food truck: They give you a buzzer so you don't have to wait around outside waiting for them to call your name. I shared a Chicken Vindaloo pizza with one other person. Portion size was perfect for 2 adults. Although it promised "tongue searing curry" it totally lacked spice. The Indian flavors were there though. Just don't promise me tongue searing- and it's ketchup level spicy. Thin crust was topped with chicken, Black Truffle Ricotta, Mozzerella, Basil- it was an unexpected exotic flavor to find at a traditional brewery.
