Cute little Thai spot that is clean and has friendly service. Food was tasty and fresh. $5 for a good size bowl of tom kha soup packed with meat and veggies is a deal. The Shumai was all meat with a tender noodle wrapper - very good, I could eat a dozen of those. Thai fried rice was also tasty and piping hot fresh. Service was not exactly fast but you could tell they were busy with a small staff, it gave us time to eat a little and then digest while we waited for the next dish. My massaman curry was fresh and again, packed with ingredients, very hearty. The mango sticky rice dessert was perfect; warm sticky rice with lots of condensed milk and the mango is such a comfort food. Some flat noodles for the drunken noodle dish would kick that up a notch from the boring spaghetti noodles. Overall a good dinner, would go back. Total was like $108 for 2 orders of soup, 2 appetizers and 4 entrees, not bad at all. read more

This is literally in my neighborhood and been wanting to stop by. If you blink you will miss it. The location is hidden but it's super cozy the owner is so friendly and if you want authentic good Thai food this place has it. We tried the beef salad chicken pad Thai, spring rolls and dumplings and Thai tea. The flavors were great . My husband got level 3 on spice and was like maybe level 2 next time lol. This restaurant puts out solid Thai food for the decker Prarie/pinehurst area. 3 friends went there and each got different dishes. Every single one was delicious. I got the spicy green curry with mixed beef shrimp, drank the bowl. The staff was beyond exceptional. Genuinely good people and strikes up conversation and were awesomely attentive. I got the shumai appetizer, wasn't sure what it is, still don't really know, but it tastes really good! They didn't have oat milk for the milk green tea, so I got a Thai tea instead. I'm not sure how this one was brewed but it was different and a lot better than what I'm used to. The perfect amount of sweetness. I got the chicken pad Thai, I was hoping it would be on the drier side but it was quite heavy and moist. Nothing wrong with that, but my stomach wasn't having it. I wanted to get the coconut dessert, but I was full. It's a nice cozy place, and the young lady that was taking my order was very nice and kept checking up on me. Pan's Thai is located off 249 in Tomball, and the small restaurant is tucked in the corner of an older shopping center, but don't let that deter you. If you want the best Thai food for miles, then mosey on in to Pan's place. As I stepped inside the door I was greeted by Joe, the husband of the chef and the host. He was friendly and welcoming and made me feel like a special guest, which is a nice touch when you are dining alone. The restaurant has a homey feel to it--the aesthetics are spartan, and there are only about 10 tables. However, the food is fresh and served hot and spiced to your preference. I had Tom Kha soup and the massaman curry with beef. Both dishes were fragrant and flavorful and the curry was balanced and delicious. Other diners encouraged me to try the yellow curry, which I may do next time. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the curries from Pan's kitchen. The menu is not as extensive as other Thai restaurants, but you can expect to find ample selections at reasonable prices, and the quality of the food is exceptional. The service was good. The restaurant does not have a liquor license, but that is not a deterrent for me. The food is the main attraction, and it delivers. I am thrilled to have a local place to satisfy my curry fix. read more

I discovered this restaurant completely by chance while getting a haircut next door. One of the stylists had ordered food from them, and the delicious aroma sparked a serious craving. I asked her if their food was any good, and without hesitation, she said, "Oh yes!" After my haircut, I headed straight next door. As always with Thai cuisine, I wrestled with the decision: Pad Thai or Curry? The Red Curry Chicken won this time -- medium spice. Let me tell you, I've traveled to hundreds of cities across the U.S. for work, and I always seek out a local Thai spot wherever I land. I've had good, even great, Red Curry Chicken -- but nothing has ever come close to the flavor I found here. This dish hit every note: rich, balanced, aromatic, and unforgettable. We noticed Pan's Thai restaurant during a drive a few weeks ago. Tonight, we decided to give it a try. Located in Pinehurst, TX, Pan's Thai restaurant is located in a strip mall just off Hwy 249. It's super cozy, and very clean. It was fairly quiet, but it was also a Monday evening. For appetizers, we had both the Shumai (dumplings) and Pan's Thai BBQ (pork skewers). The BBQ skewers were great, the dumplings were amazing. I mean they were AMAZING. For mains, we had an order of Drunken Noodles and also Pad Ped. We typically order extra spicy, and they nailed it. Almost brought a tear to my eye (literally). All of these dishes were served hot and very quickly. The Pad Ped had nice curry flavor; the Drunken Noodles used spaghetti instead of flat noodles, but don't be quick to judge. The Drunken Noodles turned out to be delicious also. On a final note, Pan's service is also very good. Both the hostess and the owner were very pleasant and very attentive. Great Job! Best Thai in the local area. We'll be back soon. read more

Awesome food, great prices, and great service! My wife and I ate here two nights ago for the first time and loved it! We had the crispy spring rolls as an appetizer (absolutely amazing), the Panang curry and Thai fried-rice for our meal, and mango sticky rice as dessert. We are here for the first time tonight. It's a hidden gem. The dining room was very tastefully decorated. The food was very flavorful and the service was excellent. I had the Pad Ped with no extra spice added and it was perfect. My husband had the orange chicken which was also delicious. the owner, Joe, was friendly, funny, and attentive. Our family stumbled onto this quaint little restaurant in our search for spicy Thai food. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was that it was one of the cleanest restaurants we had experienced. Customer service was excellent! We each ordered something different. Several of us went out for lunch & wanted to try the new restaurant, Pan's Thai, in Decker Prairie. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent & plentiful! We each had enough to take home for another meal. Several of us got Pad Thai, which was very good & you were able to choose the heat level of your dish. Others got fried rice that they said was good & again enough to feed two. Another got red curry & was pleased with it. The crispy egg rolls were also a hit. Amazing Thai food in an unexpected location. We dropped in for lunch and found Pan's Thai a true delight. We ordered the crunchy Spring Roll appetizer followed by Orange Chicken and Penang Curry.
