I'm new to the area looking for a good nail tech. I've been getting my nails done for 20+ years. This was by far the worst nail experience I've EVER HAD! It started when she used a dremel on me that hadn't been cleaned! She fumbled around on my nails like she didn't know what she was doing all while she talked nonstop. I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack watching this play out on my nails. The shop was filthy and dusty! At the end of getting a fill and one repair she charged me $45!!!!!! I came into Great Falls last weekend to visit my best friend. By the time we were able to get childcare for her daughter, most of the salons in town were closing. KC did a manicure and a pedicure for me today and she did an excellent job! I loved that she uses the paraffin wax for both! It is such a wonderful moisturizer, my feet look fabulous. I went in with dry heels and dry hands and even several hours later they are all still healthy and moisturizer. She's also a great conversationalist. The place is a bit hard to find at first. But if you're heading west, you pass CVS then turn left at the very next turn lane. Chose-N-Elegance is right next to Bowser Brewing Company. Park behind the building and you'll see their door. Head upstairs and there you are! They do wax, hair and massages here as well. read more

I tanned here today which was only $4! Definitely my new place to tan! I bought 12 tans for only $24. Then I had a massage with Casey and it was wonderful! Since I moved to Great Falls I have been looking for a salon to call home. This is it! I met KC today and she spent a great deal of time pampering me, fixing my horrendous nails that I tore up unpacking moving boxes and made me feel right at home - she even included a paraffin wax dip for my hands and feet which I needed desperately. She was attentive to my every need. You will spend a little more here than at the 'nail shop on every corner', but it is worth it. I was looking for a place where I could relax, have a glass of wine, enjoy intelligent conversation (in English) and forget my worries. Casey was fantastic. The last time I had my nail done was when I was a kid, so I really didn't know anything but she was very informative and helpful. My first experience with this place was the manicurist arriving 1/2 an hour late for our appointment - wasn't really given an explanation and barely an apology. She seemed very casual and somewhat disorganized, albeit polite and friendly. The whole place seemed a bit grungy and dirty and possibly not sterile. Her equipment was soaking in what I assumed to be disinfectant however when she pulled it out to use it, there was hair stuck to it. After removing it, she spent an inordinately long time working on my nails. I took it to be care and pampering, except that she seemed unhappy about having to do it at all. When she applied the color, which I might add was a gel that requires special care, application and removal, she was sloppy and didn't even paint up to the cuticles. It looked like a child had painted it on. And the fact that it was a gel that required very specific care and removal didn't enter into the conversation. Only after looking it up online afterward did I realize she not only applied it wrong but she neglected to tell me that it needed to be removed in a special way and could cause me problems. At any rate, after 2 hours we were finally done. I paid for the service and got out as fast as I could. I wanted to like the service there but I simply didn't. It seemed like one disappointment after another and when I have to question the cleanliness, sterility and the attitude of the staff, I counted too many things to have me not going back ever. Maybe their other services are better [according to the reviews, they are] or maybe the glowing reviews were left by friends a/o staff......doesn't matter, I will not be going back. read more
