The worker in the photo…read morerushed to lock the doors before we could get to the door 20 minutes before closing, then completely ignored me and 3 other customers as we stood knocking/trying to ask why they were closing so early. Other staff who were up front saw us and rushed to the back of the store. Last I heard, Big 5 wasn't in a position to be turning down customers and closing their doors early just so they can leave early on a Friday. Take your business elsewhere. Won't be back.

I came here to exchange a tent that I purchased a week ago. I was finally able to set it up and the…read morestrings were all damaged. I told the lady at the register and she looked at me like I did it. She then proceeded to open the box and sure enough, the strings were damaged. I told her I purchased the tent a week ago and I was able to find some time to set it up when I noticed it was damaged. She then rudely told me that their equipment should be new and it's not possible for it to be damaged. I argued with her and told her that I thought it was brand new but i guess it wasn't. It was in it's original packaging.. Finally, she accepted it as an exchange and told me to grab another one. She said if it happens again, I'm going to have to take it up with the manufacturer... Really?? It's not my fault it was broken.. I then grabbed a "new" one and she asked if I'd like to check it before checking out. I said okay, I checked over the sticks and it looks fine. I told her what about the tent, what if there is a hole. She told me I can open it up in the store but there was no room to do that.. so I told her that I'll just set it up today at home and if it's not good I'll bring it back. She then proceeded to do the exchange then told me it was going to be $17.99.. wait.. I'm exchanging.. why do I need to pay. She said initially it was purchased with a coupon.. I said okay... So use the same coupon.. she then said she didn't have a coupon, so she made me look for the same coupon.. I found one on their website and luckily it worked and covered the $17.99.. I got out of there and was pretty upset. What was supposed to be an easy exchange turned into an argument and her accusing me of damaging their product... Not coming back to this store..

I found a coupon for here on retail me not for $10 off $60. That was enough for me to go and look for what they had. I did find suspender snow pants and boots for my 5 year old daughter. With the coupon the pants came to $24.99, not the best but not bad! Didn't see any boots for my 2 year old baby though unfortunately. I certainly do think they could have greeted me when I walked in, manager looked right past me. Also 2 cashiers were working and no one was paying attention as I waited in line. Had to just walk up myself. Not greeted at all he just began scanning. The coworkers were talking amongst themselves about the schedule or what they're going to do this weekend or something? Glad I found what I needed though so my girl won't freeze when we go to the snow.

I spent about 1.5h waiting for a simple pickup. Not sure why they staff 2 workers on the day before a holiday. When I got my stuff I did notice I only recieve a portion of the maglock kit and luckily I caught it before I left. Overally knowledgeable guys. Service is good if its not a crazy long wait.
