But over a period of weeks, I watched one of my girls' hair fall out. I consulted with 2 different stylists who both confirmed that her hair was overprocessed. By the time I contacted the Dominicans 2 months later, they were reluctant to do anything but give a free treatment. My daughter was 12 at the time, just coming into her own. As an African American child, she was ridiculed and teased by other children about her hair. Literally, 80% of her hair fell out. At this point, we had to start over with her new growth and braids, and she still refuses to cut the little bit of hair she has left. I've heard great reviews about this place, that's why I trusted them to do my daughters' hair. But they made a terrible mistake with one. The other twin, who has fine hair, where her sister has thick hair...her hair turned out wonderfully. Based on that alone, I will give them 3 stars. But I will never be back. Next time they make a mistake, they need to own up to it. But don't make it seem like a long time when I complained 2 months after the visit. Within 2 months, so much of my child's hair had fallen out, I was astonished. And for the record...It took 2 months to report because I didn't realize her hair was falling out until a few weeks when you could really see the difference. Her hair is thick. Initially, I only thought it was normal shedding. Then I felt compelled to get consultations from other hair stylists.

I am not from this area but was there to visit the In Laws and we came here as my Mother & father In Law had been for 15+ Years and after dealing with the owner Peggy Lineberry I understand why my In Laws Come here. She is Professional, Accommodating and friendly. I felt right at home and it brought back memories of my first haircuts as a young boy the shop is comfortable and warm as the owner. If you are looking for a place that is well priced and is well established this is where you need to go. 3 other customers came in and she knew there names and apparently had been cutting their hair for years too.
