The vibes are nice, usually have music playing and there's wine/water/soda available during your service. I was a walk-in and was sat with no wait. Ben was very detail oriented and took his time to make sure the nails were perfect. Everything was well organized and clean, it didn't smell like nail polish or chemicals thankfully. I'd definitely recommend Ben he did an amazing job.

Horrible experience! I went on my birthday weekend for a classic pedicure ($45) and gel polish (extra $15). I was not offered any beverage at all (not even water!) and to make matters worse, ALL THE POLISH CAME OFF AFTER 2 days! I am on day 4 of this gel pedicure and have 3 toes with polish on them! I called and asked for a refund because i live 5 hours away and they told me it is nothing they could do! $60 gone to waste!

There is a large variety of manicures and pedicures to choose from and a tremendous amount of colors to select. The detail work was meticulous and the finished product is just perfect. Very surprised at how good of an experience I had yesterday! I was a walk-in and immediately was sat with Vika (sp?) She is so nice to chat with and did everything with professional quality. She's been there about a year & it shows. No errors like a cut or too rough or uneven, etc and included a nice sugar scrub massage & the perfect cuticle trimming. I was able to get a full manicure + SNS dip powder on my natural nails in about 2 hours; which is typical for me. Pricing is excellent & a place to check out if you are in the area. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the manicure part did not include a hot towel or oil/lotion & massage after, so my hands are dry today.

The girl dug too deep and my toe wouldn't stop bleeding. A week later, it still feels bruised. I think she did good on the nail art

The place is pretty clean and they look to be utilizing the proper sanitation guidelines with COVID. They have you wash your hands when you enter. *I went with my friend for a pedicure. My girl was pretty good with everything. She was happy and cracking jokes in the beginning. Then her whole demeanor changed when she was picking around my big toe nail. She must have dug too deep, and it made me nonstop bleed. It took at least 20 minutes for it to stop bleeding. I got nervous when she started painting my nail with nail polish as I was leaking blood yet.. - my toe was so sore and sensitive for the following week. It felt bruised. *We got the basic pedicure. Yet, my friend who is too shy to say anything, said that her nail lady didn't even take the dead skin off of her foot with that filer/scraper thing. We also got nail art. The girl voiced how she wasn't good at it and seemed almost upset that she had to do it. (It did make my friend and I uncomfortable when they were constantly talking with their coworkers, next to them, in a different language.. and then they would go back to speaking English- so, we thought that was rude.)

I've been looking for a new nail salon that does a careful job and my first experience was great. The pedicure was immaculate and so was the acrylic full set. Extreme attention to detail -- no steps skipped. The salon itself is pristine-- no dust, all clean and cared for. Very impressed. Update: don't get brows done here though. read more

Just got a simple manicure. The place is small but organized, clean and current. My nail tech did the best job of cleaning my skin around my nails. She talked with her co-worker most of the time which allowed me to relax and watch their TV. (Don't watch TV much) Very satisfied. read more

When I got there, it was kind of quiet. They had me sit down, only to make me get up and move again. I got SNS, and they said they couldn't do ombré which was weird. The main place I get my nails done has done it, but I wasn't going to argue and make a tense situation. While the young lady was doing my nails, multiple other employees came and watched for a while which made me really uncomfortable. As far as the vibe, it was weird. They played the same five old love songs on repeat. Like the one from titanic for example. Finally... I get my nails done every six ish weeks, usually at the same place, somewhere else. And never have my nails chipped and fell apart like they did after visiting the nail bar. It's been maybe a couple weeks and I've had to majorly file my nails down and I'm considering getting them removed, which is really annoying for how much money I spent. This was just a really negative experience, and I had much higher expectations considering how many great reviews are on this page. read more

I've been coming to both locations since 2018 and unfortunately I won't be returning. Charlie is the only person who can do a full set and have the shape look good, but I think everyone has caught on to that, so even when you book an appointment you're interrupted by other customers only wanting him. I came in last Thursday and was the only person there. I had a whole set picked out and was super excited, but 3 other women came in so he brushed me off and had me get my pedicure done. After the pedicure he was still working on someone else so I just told the lady who did my toes that I'll get a plain color so I could leave. Charlie ended up painting my nails, but after THREE days it was already peeling off and now a week has passed and my acrylics are bubbling. super disappointed the quality of this nail salon has gone down. it used to be our go to spot. read more

I went in yesterday and it was packed. I decided to come back when they opened. Even then people were piling in immediately. I understand why! They do great work. This was my second time getting sns (first refill). I asked if it could be done with less layers but it still last. Ozi didn't disappoint. She gave me three layers of the powder and my nail doesn't show through. I'm so glad I got her. The work looks great. I will ask for her again. They are in high remains so I'll set an appointment. read more

Today was my first time visiting The Nail Bar and I was beyond pleased! Mary was my nail technician and was very nice throughout my whole service. I did a manicure with the On-Sen pedicure and felt so pampered - my legs are silky smooth and my nails are clean and trimmed. The decor is very modern and clean looking to me, and the salon itself was clean on the inside. Bob was working alongside Mary and was hilarious, cutting up with the employees and clients. I did not have any issues or complaints during my visit. I plan on bringing my fiancé for a mani pedi! read more

I got my nails done in regular polish this morning. By the time it was evening they were ruined. They made me sit for an hour under the dryer and then at the end put no top coat on. The worst part is that normally I would pay $15 for regular polish and a design . I paid $24 here not including the extra tip of $3.60 for ruined nails within hours. I'm not impressed and won't be returning. read more

Nail Bar is AMAZING. I'm in Whitsett, NC visiting my boyfriend from Virginia and had a nail mishap that I could not stand to look at it for the rest of my trip so I jumped on Yelp to see reviews for my options. Unfortunately reviews for salons in Whitsett and Burlington were less than appealing but one review randomly suggested Nail Bar in Greensboro instead. It was about a 22 minute drive which really wasn't too bad ESPECIALLY once I got there and had such a great experience. The salon is super nice and when you come in you're greeted by the receptionist and I was placed with someone within a matter of seconds. Kelly was the nail tech who worked with me, she is so nice, careful, and did a wonderful job. I changed my overall shape and she made sure I loved multiple times. Their color selection for SNS dip powders is HUGE! You are bound to find more than one color you love, which is amazing considering my home salon only has a selection of about 40 powders...Nail Bar has over 100 from what I could tell at the few samples I looked at. There was also wine. :) Nail Bar is hands down my favorite nail salon I have ever been to. I'm legitimately going to try to time out my nails so that I can go back and see Kelly on my next visit down here. I 100% recommend this place if you're anywhere in the NC area...I would have honestly driven up to 45 minutes for this quality of an experience. If you're looking for a nail salon with quality technicians that do good work and make you feel at home, go go go!!!! read more

Kim did my nails and did a great job. I'm visiting from out of state and my nail had broken. The Nail Bar was recommended to me by my sister who recently had gotten sns and a pedicure a few weeks prior. I saw they accepted walk-ins, so I figured I would be one of the first people there as soon as they opened. To my surprise; there was a large group and expected to wait. Luckily for me, I was able to get an appointment for a couple of hours later. I'm so happy I waited and they even have wine!!! read more

The Nail Bar is the best place to get your nails done in Greensboro. I used to go here all the time before I left for college and had to come back over the summer. Net is who I get my nails done by. I like my nails to be done long in whatever style I get them, Net has shaped my nails in both coffin and stiletto and has done a great job with both. She is also super sweet and will talk to you while doing your nails. The prices are average to the other nail salons in the area, but the nail bar does a better job with your nails. I always call ahead to request an appointment with Net, but the salon does take walk ins. read more

I am very picky about my nails, and was so worried it wouldn't come out right... just because I'm paranoid LOL. They did a great job!!!!!!! Just like the picture I showed them. I absolutely LOVE this look. Definitely recommend. Worth the price and drive.!!!! My boyfriend got his first manicure and it came out great. We love them! read more

I have been going to the nail bar since 2018. I love getting my nails done there but I will never get my brows done there again. The woman cutoff half of my brow in an effort to go faster since she also had a customer at her table and when I complained about it to the owner, his response was "I don't do brows so I don't know what they're supposed to be." if you don't know what an eyebrow should look like, you're in the wrong business! I will have to find another place to get them done. read more

Came here for a mani & pedi to celebrate a friend's birthday. The salon is very clean. We made an appointment but they accept walk-ins. It has 8 comfortable chairs available for pedicures & a nail bar with 6 chairs as well. I would recommend making an appointment for weekends. The prices are very reasonable & customer service is great. They offer complimentary drinks like wine, water. I got the hot stone pedicure for $30 & the essential manicure for $20. The hot stone massage on my feet was great touch! I like the cleanliness of this place, all the sugar rubs are scooped out by spoons; the paraffin comes in a bag (other salons dip your hand in the paraffin used by everyone). Susan did a great job with my pedi & explained the different option available. Charlie is the star of this salon, he goes around painting nails & making sure everyone is attended to...my friends gave him a nickname, "The Finisher"! I don't live here but I would've been a regular! read more

I have one difficult, thick nail that some places refuse to cut. They did not mention it here at all on both occasions that I went, they just cut it. On this occasion, I asked the male manicurist not to cut the cuticles, but to just push them back.. He did not listen to me and continued to cut the cuticles. He drew blood three times on my toes. Since I am on blood thinners, the bleeding did not stop immediately, but took swiping and cleaning several times. I did not carry on or repeat my requirements, but I do have autoimmune diseases, and I am hyper vigilant about not wanting to get infections. Also, on the manicure, there was no rubbing lotion or anything on my hands or arms, all he really did was put the polish on. I asked that he did not cut my nails, as I had already done that, and he did follow my request of not cutting the cuticles. I like this salon because there is not a heavy odor of acrylics and polish. They do use good-quality and sanitary products. I will continue to go to the salon, and make my requirements more thorough, and insist that "no cutting the cuticles" be adhered to. The pedicure is very relaxing, but be prepared for it to take a long time. The entire processes of a Manicure, Pedicure took two hours. It was the same in time for the friend who accompanied me..

After my pedicure she brought over a water bowl for my nails. I'm thinking to myself are we not moving to a nail station??? No! She proceeded to do my manicure at the pedicure chair. I became VERY annoyed and felt it would be better for all if I stayed quiet. This was so uncomfortable as I have back issues and instead of her walking from one side to the other, I'm having to twist. I noticed my polish chipping and flaking off the next day!!! WTH! I don't know if it's the products or what but I have never had that happen before. I may or my not return to this salon, I definitely would not let that particular lady service me again. I should have simply taken my nail polish with me on vacation and did my own nails!

I've been here for a pedicure consultation and 3 pedicure appointments. So far, I have not been disappointed. Other than the standard and spa like treatments, there's also services dedicated to those who are diabetic, geriatric, and deal with harsh calluses and dry skin. My consultation with Vay (the owner) was for a couple of calluses and layered skin on a corn in between my little toe and the one next to it. She also gave me my first pedi. The seating was is very comfortable. She was friendly, focused, and thorough tending to my concerns. You can tell this is an art for her and she's serious about her work. I was nervous about it feeling uncomfortable, but totally the opposite. I left with my feet feeling amazing. The callus and corn between my toes was so smoothed out that I was pain free. Haven't experienced that in a very long time. No other salon tried to help with the layered skin, so I stopped going. The polish lasted about 3 weeks and pedi was good for a little over 4 weeks (the smoothness of what's between my toes). The salon itself feels spacious, clean, and I love the layout and color scheme. The music is loud enough to sing along to, but low to where it's not overwhelming. They also offer water and coffee. Despite the prices being a little high, it's been worth every single cent! You can also book appointments with a guest. Set up appointments that include a couple of services as well.

Going for waterless pedicure comes with alot of benefits. It is ecofriendly, diabetic and geriatric friendly,calluses and dry skin is more visible to care for, allows nail polish to last longer and reduces the risk of cross contamination. This pedicure took a little over a hour to be done. It was a good experience. Also known as "Russian Pedicures".

I recently moved into the Piedmont area and have been searching for a nail salon to no avail. I went to The Nail Bar because of the great reviews. Well...it did NOT disappoint! I called and made an appointment for first thing in the morning. I got there a few mins early and there were already a few people waiting for the doors to open. I think that's a good sign. Kelly and Snow are two ladies who did my nails. Kelly did an AMAZING job on my SNS manicure, she was meticulous in her work and she was a pleasure to chat with during my appointment. Snow did my pedicure...I don't even know how to accurately describe how awesome she is! I have NEVER had anyone care for my feet the way she did, like they were her own! I have been coming to the nail bar for about 2 years now and I always have the best experience. If you like for a nail tech I to take their time, definitely ask for Snow. My time at the salon is my me time so I'm in no rush to leave. Snow pays close attention to detail and she scrubs my feet like no other. If I need a pedicure and Snow is off, I'll come back when she's working. It's been a long time since I've found a good nail tech who doesn't rush to get me out of the chair. If you're one to complain about how long it takes to get a pedi, then there are other good techs who can assist you. Just don't complain about Snow because she takes her time and is great at what she does. read more
