We couldn't have asked for a better photographer...PERIOD. Although this review is long overdue since my wife and I were married in January of 2020, I wanted to write it when I could focus because it deserves my full attention. PRE-WEDDING From the beginning, he was very attentive, asked a lot of good questions, and I could tell he really wanted to know what our vision was for our photos and who we wanted extra shots of such as parents and best friends. Also, I could tell he reinvested his money in his business because of his quality website and client portal. It was easy to navigate, and tracked every conversation we had for transparency and no misunderstandings. "Sometimes the little things make the biggest differences." WEDDING DAY  We were nervous because we didn't have time to do any practice shots with Chris (which was highly recommended from friends) such as take our engagement photos, so our wedding day was the first time we ever met him in person but he just jumped right as though we had been friends forever and worked his magic.  Not sure if he remembers, but when I first arrived at the venue and met Chris in person for the first time, the wind was blowing extremely hard and I was freaking out because of the weather in Lahaina that afternoon. I asked him, "Are we gonna be ok?" Without hesitation he said "it's gonna be fine and you will have a beautiful wedding." Throughout the wedding, he showed excellent leadership skills by helping us stay organized, timely, calm, and focused on taking things in so we could cherish the moments but also allowing us time to mingle with our guests. It almost felt like Chris could have also been our wedding coordinator since he was so competent. Everyone just loved Chris because of his fun and vibrant personality.  CONCLUSION Chris delivered our photos faster than anticipated and I kid you not, we just loved every single shot; therefore, it's so hard to make our wedding album because we want ALL the photos in there.  Overall, his personality won us over, his talent made our wedding day fun, memorable, and timeless. Chris exceeded our expectations in every way and I would recommend him and his amazing team, a thousand times over. He's not just a world class photographer, but honored to call him our new friend. Chris is by far one of the most talented wedding photographers we've seen and we were so honored to have him capture our wedding! Chris is by far, THE best photographer we have come across (and we took 3 sets of engagement photos). The shots he captured were beautiful and artistic--that's clear to see...but he also has the skill to capture the exact moments that you will treasure forever. His work really speaks for itself! I really love that his photos have a magazine-type feel to them. I looked at a lot of Maui photogs before deciding on one, but I felt that the quality of Chris's photos really set him apart. There are other photographers in Maui who are higher-priced, but I prefer Chris's photography style--there's something special about his photos--I don't know any photography lingo, but I know that Chris's photos are just DIFFERENT from the ones taken by other Maui photogs. On our wedding day, Chris knew exactly what shots to get, keeping in mind the sunlight at various points during the day, at sunset, and setting up appropriate lighting at night. Chris is an amazing photographer, very professional and precise about details, yet very easy to deal with. My husband and I used his services for our wedding in July and it was very easy to communicate with him via email from mainland, we told him what we had in mind and he suggested few shooting locations that were literally spectacular! He gave us suggestions on preferable outfit colors for each location and had his own props that we played around with for the photo shoot. For me the most amazing thing about him was: 1) How comfortable I felt during the photo shoot and 2) The turn-around time is ridiculously fast. I think we got all of our pictures no later than 10 days after the wedding. 3) He accommodated all of our requests to Photoshop or retouch some of the pictures. 4) He was not very anal about the duration of the photo shoot, he gave us some extra time during each of our two photo shoots at no additional cost.
