During one of the busiest times in WI (right after the polar vortex, when everyone's pipes probably burst), he worked longer hours to come to our rescue and fix our pipes. Horrible, Lazy, plumber! If I could give zero stars I would.....This clown came out to our house twice - contracted via our home warranty. The first time was to fix a clogged drain in the bathroom sink. He made every excuse as to why the job would not be simple and said that he was going to call our home warranty to confirm what we needed done was not covered (very negative). He comes back after speaking with the home warranty company and said the service was not covered but he would do it outside of the warranty company for $1600. We kindly excused him from our house and got the job done the next day for $175.00. He came out again from home warranty 3 weeks later (we don't get to choose who they send) for a kitchen sink clog..... he said "I don't see this address on the warranty" he was assuming we lived in a duplex when we don't. It's one address and we use the upstairs for guest. Again, he goes out to call the home warranty company from his truck and comes back and says the job is not covered. He does this because he just wants to trip charge (we have to pay with the home warranty) and he does not want to do the work. I'm guessing because they don't pay him well enough. I kicked him out of my house and had an honest plumber come out and do the job the same day, again for just $175.00. I cancelled my warranty with American Home Shield the same day for hiring clowns like him. beware of hiring him for a job. He is a con and lazy. If you have American Home Shield do not let them, send this clown to your house. BEWARE!!! If you scroll through the reviews, you will see a lot of bad reviews from home warranty customers. They came out and replaced our broken toilet through our home warranty. They came out quickly, were very professional and pleasant, did a great job and even stuck around afterwards and gave advice on some other plumbing issues we are having including things I can do on my own and things they could do for us and how much that would cost. That's how you win business and create repeat customers! Very happy with them. read more

had a guy come out from Chris the plumber. our kitchen sink was clogged, what does this guy bring in, 2 plungers and proceeded to plunge the sinks. my mom was there, i got there a few minutes after he was there. just listening. a piece of paper came up from the drain. and he called it foreign matter. my mom said paper. he said yes paper but i wonder what else is down there. he stated because i have metal piping that he wouldn't be able to snake it because of all the bends in the pipe, and if his equipment got stuck we would have to pay 2000. he stated that we would have to replace the piping with pvc pipe that would cost about $2,500. so the kicker is that when he put the report into the warranty company, he said that the paper was plastic, it was not normal wear and tear on the piping. he also said that he snaked the pipes. when he clearly didn't. i will have a supervisor call me. to get a better resolution. the good part is i have the entire visit on recording. he clearly said paper. and you can hear him plunging the sinks. not snaking. definitely would not recommend this company. the only reason i didn't look at the reviews in advance is because i had used them 16 years ago and they were fine, did the job no problem. times have changed. read more

They charged me for water heater line modification that took them 30min $800. Don't even consider that company. This should be illegal. It was through the warranty company and at that time I didn't know that I have any other options so I processed with them. read more

They have a woman, Heather, who does not know how to talk to customers. She told me "ok be quite" in the mist of me talking and explaining to her what was going on. When I told her that was rude. She hung up on me and had the owner call me to finish the conversation. I explained to him my situation and needing specifics on time to be available but that was not honored or respected. The owner was much more respectful but also wanted to give justifications as to why fees where charged and no work was done. I would run away from this company if you can. They even charged my policy holders for coming to my home at the unscheduled time and tried to have me pay another fee to them. Money hungry folks are what they exhibited..... Run.... Find another plumber.... There's better out there.... Not even a last resort. And train your receptionist!!!!! If I could give a half star I would. read more

They were sent to our house by HSA Home Warranty to clear a clogged floor drain. When he arrived I explained the problem (water siphoning from kitchen sink trap when water was discharged into the basement sanitary tub). He immediately looks under the kitchen sink and says the plumbing was not done to code and he needs to call the office to get a quote to fix it. As he is calling the office I call my plumber and he states that they do not know what they're talking about. He returns with a quote for $548 to correct the drain issue. When I push back and tell him the problem is in the basement drain we proceed to the basement and he tells me he can't get the clean out cap off just by looking at it. When I ask him try he came back with a channel lock pliers instead of a pipe wrench. He then tried to remove the cover by turning the nut to the right which would have tightened it. At that point I asked him to leave. Another contractor came the next day and cleared the drain promptly. It makes you wonder how many customers fall for these shady practices. Please I just about passed out when they told me how much to reconnect a new water heater! I have never been so taken advantage of in my life. The job was done but not very well. He positioned it in a way that I cannot fit my washing machine back into place it could have been turned a small amount and have everything fit back in with a smile. read more

Needed help with a squealing leaky faucet. They told me I would need to replace everything and that it was a huge job and would cost over $500 (above what was covered on my warrantee). I trusted their judgment and scheduled the repair. They came back out and made a bunch of holes in our bedroom wall only to find out that couldn't access the pipes from that room. They said we would have to remove the shower encasement before they would come back out. So we were left with a bunch of holes and a big job ahead of us. I ended up doing some research and replaced the faucet. PROBLEM SOLVED! 30 minutes and $50 was all it took! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. read more

Never trust these people, they are fraud. They were sent to replace a faucet through AHS. AHS is pathetic so does this plumber. They never installed the faucet and they claim it was installed and order was closed. Be aware, they threatened me also when I pushed them back. read more

If I could give zero star it would be more appropriate. This company was contracted through our AHS policy. Our toilet kept running until you jiggle the handle. Unfortunately, the toilet got stopped up and kept running and flooded our bathroom. Chris the plumber came and said it's working fine because he flushed it once and it stopped. I flushed it again and it kept running. He said, I pushed the lever too hard and that's why it kept running. It shouldn't do that, obviously, you push what ever it takes to flush. He then, blamed it on the style of toilet, which is a Kohler. We have an identical toilet that doesn't have this problem. He then jiggled around with the handle and sprayed WD 40 on it and said it was fixed. It didn't run continuously for maybe 2 flushes. Almost immediately after he left it tarted to run constantly again. I called the office. He came back. He said it's the lever assembly and I need to call Kohler and lie to them and tell them that either we are the original owners of the home or that we installed this toilet so they would send us a free replacement. I told him I wasn't going to lie. He got mad and left. He then told AHS that we forced the flapper and we caused the problem so they wouldn't cover it. Seriously, how does one force a flapper anyway? The house was built in 2001. I'm pretty sure this is the original tank assembly. Which is more likeIy, that it just wore out over time or someone flushed it too hard? I would never recommend this plumber to anyone and will be filing a complaint with BBB. read more

I would look elsewhere if needing a plumber. I have a home warranty and was assigned this outfit by my warranty provider. My problem was a leaking faucet due to a faulty cartridge in the shower/tub handle in both my master and guest tub. They came out and without even inspecting the handle proceeded to tell me they would need to replace the valves in both tubs which would require removing both my vanities and tearing apart my bathrooms....huh? That had nothing to do with the leak. The leak as I tried to explain to the service tech was due to the cartridge needing to be replaced. The tech then got a hold of Chris who parroted the same nonsense stating the age of my plumbing which is only 23 years old was the reason they needed to address the problem in this manner. These guys are hacks and scam artist looking to pile on unnecessary work to the unsuspecting. I took matters into my own hands and took a picture of the Koehler faucets and went to a local plumbing supply shop and bought 2 cartridges and replaced them myself. Leaks fixed. read more
