On a telephone pole, I saw what looked like an advertisement for a carnival, but it was for a new store called Weirdo Wonderland. It said it was a store dedicated to all things strange and unusual. I've been obsessed with horror and sci-fi films my whole life, so it sounded like it was right up my alley. I eventually popped in on a Saturday afternoon. I was stunned when I walked in. Lots and lots of horror and sci-fi collectibles. Tons of old movie posters and art prints. Various props, masks, old toys, plastic model kits, comics, and even old issues of "Famous Monsters of Filmland". The owner was very personable too. I'll definitely be popping in again to check out their collection of creepy chachkies.

It was a great experience, but I am giving them 3 stars because my bracelet began to strip of its gold. I was told that the jewelry is gold filled and I was told that I have to take care of it ... which is what I have been doing. I've even googled gold filled jewelry quality and it said that it would last long ... It striped anyways, I've only had my bracelet for a week. I take it off to shower because I was afraid of this happening, but I wear it everyday to work. It's so special to me because I carefully picked out the charms, which has sentimental meaning to me, as well as the time spent with my daughter, so it sucks that this is happening. I paid a total of about $175 for my bracelet, including 11 charms. And $135 for my daughters and she has 9 charms. Note: my daughters' bracelet is fine because she is so scared of this happening, so she's barely worn it since she's gotten it. Really sucks
