I would've liked to get a salad, but they only had iceberg lettuce and due to it's lack of nutritional value I thought that to be a waste of space in my stomach. The only other veggie options I saw were overcooked green beans (limp and watery) and broccoli chicken or pepper chicken. All veggies come sauced and with chicken, apparently! What I did get onto my plate was hit or miss. The trend seemed to be that the Asian options were the best. The general tso's, sweet n' sour and teriyaki chicken were good. The teriyaki had a few dry pieces, but I think they just weren't that fresh. The same with the fried shrimp. It was really hard and tasted old. The egg roll was mushy and disappointing, though. The macaroni and cheese was disgusting. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted instant, but I have a soft spot for instant potatoes! A little salt and pepper and they were just fine. I had two helpings. I managed to find some plain ole steamed cauliflower that I paired with the clarified butter meant for the crab legs that were on special for Father's Day. The staff were nice and kept our plates cleared, but a refill of my soda was hard to come by. They do offer a 10% discount for seniors over the age of 60, which is nice. We finished off the meal with ice cream, served in individual cups. They also offered chocolate chip and mint chocolate chip that you scoop yourself... definitely not the most sanitary.

They just stared at you so I asked them in your country. What is the Custom when someone say thank you. She stared at me and then said you're welcome. I asked her why then when I say thank you to you and your staff you just stare I never got a You're welcome. My Grandson even said thank you for the Lady bringing him a drink. She just stared at him and then walked off it don't cause nothing to be polite to anybody so that was definitely a turn off to Me. than asked me was I gonna leave a tip? I looked at her and said lady that was your tip for the day. I don't mind tipping and I believe in tipping, but not when it's not deserved.

And the old carpet just holds that smell. The restaurant was on the expensive side. The lunch specials started at $14.50. The cheapest sandwich was $15.99 and comes with one side. They offered a salad bar for $16.99 The hot bar was $18.79. Kids meals were all $9.99. I went with the hot bar because it had fried chicken on it. There were 4 different soups to choose from and all of the normal salad bar items. The pickled beets were really good. The skin of the fried chicken was soft from being in the steam table. Nothing crunchy left. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on a few times. Lunch for 3 adults and a kid was $70 plus tip.

Flaky with buttery caper sauce was rich and creamy over a bed of rice. My side was the salad bar which can hold its own as a meal all by itself. My husband ordered their famous 1lb pork chop. The mash was creamy and the Caesar salad side were good. Credit where credit is due.... The chop was cooked to temp however with the size and even with the red sauce it's basted with, my husband reported it a bit dry but he definitely enjoyed the process of eating it. The service as fine and we enjoyed the experience. We will definitely return next time we travel that way and try more on the menu

I had it prepared with tofu instead of the standard shrimp, chicken or pork...and it was divine. They also have the best green beans I have ever had in my life. Highly recommend that you try the green beans as a side dish, get the large order and share them with your entire party. This is truly a hidden gem in Danville. Although the business sometimes looks closed in the evenings, they are open until 10 pm Monday thru Saturday, closed Sundays.

The woman at the counter seemed very sweet and took our orders promptly. The food was brought out very fast; I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for it. It was tasty for a great price. I got a teriyaki chicken combo plate and my husband got the shrimp and broccoli. It was a huge portion that we inhaled. There were a few people that came and went while we were there and they were helped very quickly, but we were the only ones to sit and eat. It isn't an actual sit down restaurant with service, although it seemed like it used to be. This might be one of those little gems dying out from lack of help or lack of customers. If we happen through Danville again, we'll have to stop in. I hope it's still there!
