Terrible. Worst buffet I've been to. It would be a good place to open a Chinese buffet. I left after 1 plate of food. The tag on the counter said $5.99 for lunch. Bill came to $14. Hardly any food on the buffet. Then when they brought it out most was burnt. I had a salad (actually just lettuce) with 3 choices of dressing waiting for food to be brought to the buffet. Such a let down. Frozen garlic bread? We still doing that? Baked potatoes were burnt and looked like corn under cheese? Crab Rangoon was burnt and inedible. I can only but I won't. read more

Having been to many other buffets in other locations I've lived, this is easily one of the smallest. Small in square footage but even more so, small in selection. My policy on just about any buffet is; there's always one or two things that are good enough to get full on. I can't help but think that the positive reviews were by people who haven't eaten at a buffet outside of Crawfordsville. If you like Chinese, this is the place to go! Don't be fooled by the strip mall location or ho-hum decor, these people care about their food! We went on a Wednesday afternoon for a late lunch. There were eight of us and we were celebrating my brothers birthday. The owner gave him his buffet for free and let us rearrange tables to seat the group together. Lunch price was $6.49 and included the beverage bar and dessert. Although I would highly recommend skipping both so you have more space for food! The crab Rangoon and stuffed mushrooms are killer. And the Dragon meets Phoenix dish had chicken so tender you'd think it was a new kind of poultry plus the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Even though it was slow while we were there, everything was hot and fresh and the buffet attendant had fresh dishes coming out when she saw what our favorites were so that we never had to wait. They do a really good job of only preparing enough of a dish so that it doesn't sit there and get old waiting to be eaten. The cook obviously takes pride in the food and it shows. Roll the sweet biscuits in sugar and eat with a spoonful of vanilla soft served for the perfect ending to a lovely meal! It's only missing a star because the carpet could use attention and the decor leaves a little to be desired. But everything was clean, you could there's a good work ethic there, and the music was in keeping with the atmosphere. So kudos to the owner for focusing on the right stuff and getting it right! Terrible. The chicken was old and overcooked, and overall the quality was very subpar. I guess you pay for what you get but I've had better Chinese buffet food. If I had to guess I'd say most of this is frozen food thrown in the oven or microwave. Nothing tastes fresh. Nothing seems like it was genuinely made. My wife thought she might get sick from eating any of the crab because it tasted old and rotten. I think should say that we aren't your "usual" buffet eaters so maybe our pallets are a little more refined but dang.... China Inn in Crawfordsville is a notch above this. Pay the extra 2 dollars and get better quality. read more

My husband and I love to go here for Chinese food. I've never been to a buffet of this type in Indiana that has a large variety of food that is always FRESH, hot, and served in a clean environment. Most of the time Super China Buffet is really good and I love the food. But, I seen several new faces today wondering if there are new owners now. The noodles were floury tasting and didn't have enough sauce on them to even tell. The General Tsao Chicken tasted only slightly better but a bit on the dry side. I was hard pressed to find any sauce on that as well. And the fried rice I was asking myself, what is this stuff? It was horrible tasting. The steamed won tons were a joke too because they were hard and crusty all over and tough to chew. But the won tons in broth was OK. In fact I poured the broth over the noodles and fried rice to give them some flavor, which was an improvement and I choked them down. Next time I get a taste for good Chinese food I will go to our Old Town Buffet. read more

Small but very nice buffet. Everything we tried was fresh tasting and hot if it was supposed to be hot and cold if it was supposed to be cold. You pay as you go in and drinks are included in the price. The lady that we paid was nice and cordial and seemed glad we were there. There is no way you are going to leave here hungry! read more

I ate at the super china buffet on 11/10/2016. Immediately after eating there I broke out in hives. My girlfriend was sick for 3 days with stomach problems. On top of that they charged my credit card on the 10th, then again on the 12th for the same amount. I called them, and they said they had no record of that. Don't eat there!!! read more
