I Loved this place and it is off season which may explain staff shooting the breeze and in plan view while playing on their phones, could have been friendlier but the food and the Americano was amazing. Visited on a Sunday morning. What a busy little place. We were in the restaurant doors by 9am, placed our order at 9:10 for food and coffee. We received our coffee immediately, but our food was completed by 9:35 for a to-go order. If you're planning to stop - make sure to cut in time to wait. Worth the wait! My son is gluten free and ordered the breakfast bowl of eggs, cheese, ham, and sausage. We asked for no veggies or sauces, but it came with avocado. I get it - take a look at the pics, the line was out the door. Great to see with a small business. I had a plain bagel with butter and my husband had a breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious. My coffee was a cold brew and my husband had a Carmel macchiato. Glad we visited. read more

We had such a lovely experience here last weekend. They have so many delicious bakery items to choose from as well as a plethora of drink options. We got a lot of snacks and the staff was so kind while taking our big order. Let me just say, everything we got was so yummy! The zucchini bread was soft and fresh, the babka roll was tasty, the strawberry cheesecake muffin was uniquely delicious, the chocolate chip cookie was the perfect mix of chewy and crunchy, the gluten-free chocolate chip scone was very good, and our all time favorite was the turtle bar. We also got a latte and a frozen java and both were so good. I can't wait to come back next summer! read more

Perfect day in Sackets. We walked down to the cafe and sat outside. They have a cute brick side patio with a big bowl of water for the doggos. Only 2 parties allowed to sit inside at a time. Great service, may pastry was insanely flaky and delicious. I bribed the puppies with the cookie which got them to pretend to be good citizens. No mean feat. A lovely bakery in beautiful Sackets Harbor full of all the warmth hoped for when purchasing baked goods out of town. Our family was visiting from across the country for thanksgiving and Chrissy Beanz made the most wonderful pumpkin pie and sugar cookie decorating kit upon order for us to pick up. To my great surprise upon entering the establishment, a counter complete with scones, muffins, cookies, pies etc were all so beautifully prepared and on display. We grabbed some take and bake cinnamon rolls, a pumpkin roll and some local made honey to indulge in over our holiday week and every bite was made with love. The staff was so delightful to converse with and made me feel right at home. A perfect stop while in upstate NY! We highly recommend stopping by and supporting this wonderful location whether for a cup of joe, a breakfast sandwich or all your baked good needs. read more

Hip little spot that served me a much needed bagel with cream cheese and a $2 double shot of espresso (which was fantastic). We arrived a little late on a Sunday morning and noticed they didn't have many pastries available, although there were a bunch of cooks back in the kitchen prepping some. I got a breakfast sandwich that was cooked perfectly, and 2 muffins that were not stale even 1 and 2 days later. The staff was friendly and the service was good. They have everything from pastries to hot breakfast items, basically any kind of coffee or coffee drink you can think of, a kids menu and even dog biscuits. During COVID, no more than 2 parties allowed inside at any time and anyone else has to wait outside. Although I didn't do this, it looks like you can also order ahead online for pickup. Oh Chrissy Beanz, how I love thee! First and foremost, this place is genuine and authentic. From the staff (that seem like family) to the delicious drinks and treats, you truly can't ask for anything more. Speaking of more, they are open year round! Definitely helps out us locals that need a convenient escape from the house on those winter days. Their coffees are not only delightful to the tongue, but are of good quality and give you that "pick me up" that we all are looking for. They also serve smoothies and a variety of other drinks that I haven't tried yet. Something tells me they are worth "taking a chance". Bakery items are the bees knees. I've had the red velvet and carrot cake cupcakes, Boston creme, blueberry and pb & j muffins, cinnamon twists, chocolate chip cookie and various scones. Not once have I been let down! This place was a place, the food was food, and the drinks were drinks. However, the atmosphere was like being in a coffee shop/bakery in a historic town on the banks of one of the Great Lakes which I found rather unexpected. As I entered the store through a door I marveled at was a floor and four walls and a roof, astonishing, I also was quite intrigued by the vague but also exquisite use of hard woods.
