Michelle truly cares about finding you the best home and will even wait months & months (or even years like she did with us!) and never complain about touring tons of homes with you until you find what is the best fit and checks all of your boxes. Michelle makes it her mission to find her clients their perfect home - and never settle! So here's the thing: I have an intense attention to detail PLUS I've had a real estate license for two-decades, so I have way high expectations when selecting a real estate agent to represent me and Michelle has exceeded all of my incredibly high expectations! She was not an advocate for her client. First, I had to fight to get the "as is" clause removed from the seller's counteroffer. The property was not being sold "as is". The term "as is" had never been a part of the listing, nor our offer to the seller. She lied to me about the legal implication of the term "as is" and I, the client, had to explain it to her and demand that language be removed. It was then removed and the deal proceeded. Further, the seller lied on the information statement when he checked the box, "NO" indicating that he did not have a Hero loan. He did in fact have a Hero loan on the property. This was significant because had the escrow company not caught the error, our family would have had to absorb the balance of the seller's loan. The discrepancy could have easily been discovered earlier, however, it was not apparent until after our family wired the entirety of our amount due. Only then were we made aware that the property had a loan against it. To add insult to injury, Julia defended the seller's attempt at fraud in hiding the Hero loan. She threatened that in order to get our money back, should we exercise our legal option to unwind the deal due to the fraudulent statement about the Hero loan, it would "cost us more money". That is false. A real estate agent should be an advocate for her client and get in the ring to navigate perils that may be unfamiliar to a buyer. This is not your best bet. Others are available and if I ever need to buy another property in this area, I will not choose Julia.
