Awesome help, but a scam I feel.. Went for a sore throat and bad stomach pains, got ran with multiple tests and scans ( as were all the others waiting for the scans with me, for things that didn't even require them..) for the Dr to come in for 1 minutes and say nah you're okay... I'm still paying this off a year later, 700 dollars more to go.. Makes me not want to got to a doctor unless I'm dying. read more

Stay away from this place, I fired them a year ago for running way too many unnecessary tests. Funny that every test they order they do on house when I told them I would have the test done at another place the girl rollers her eyes at me. read more

Christ Medical Center - Medical Centers Near Me - Crystal River, Florida

"DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE at 610 Sycamore Street, Celebration, FL 34747." They give you a bunch of test that are not required so they can bill your insurance. It's been 7 months and no results from one test. Always an excuse about why they don't have it. At one point I was told they have them and to be told later they don't. The employee who told me they have them is no longer there. They do not return phone calls. Prescribes medication not needed and request you to use a mail pharmacy (he owns the pharmacy). They told me I needed heart medication. Went to get a 2nd opinion from a cardiologist and was told my heart is fine and I have no blockage as the doctor at CMC stated. Prescribed a few medication and turns out I need none of them. Wanted to put me on a weight loss program he designed and I would have to pay out of pocket because my insurance won't cover it. I'm not over weight per my new doctor. This use to be Dr. Blacks medical office in Celebration and he was a great doctor. They don't even have a "YELP" for this location and they've been there for almost a year. "STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION" Really "0" stars but its not an option. read more

I have never been to a medical office that is ripping off the INS company like this place ...You go in to see a DR for 1 thing and the next thing you know you have a months worth of appointments for tests that are NOT NEEDED...This is the Worst I have ever seen in my Life.... read more

I went to the CMC in Crystal river for close to a year, and have never been caught up in such a scam before! Every patient who went there had all of the same tests done, and we would sit for hours with Iv's in our arms, waiting to get an MRI, or xrays. Multiple trips with appointments often 3 times a week. After almost a year there, and no test results, I was finally seen by I think, an actual Dr. Not once did I see or speak to Dr Tawfik. During my appointment after a year of tests, I am informed by the Dr, that I had an aneurism in my heart, and possible lung cancer. I was terrified. I was given referrals to a cardiologist, one of their own group, and to a Pulmonologist. I played phone tag with the cardiologists office who could not see me for months, when this was supposed to be so dire and urgent, so I called my insurance company who found a different cardiologist. My new Dr looked at the test results sent by CM, and a disc I brought in, and did a few tests over. She told me I did not have an aortic aneurism at all, and the pulmonologist told me I did not have lung cancer! I reported them to the fraud division and am so happy to see the doors have closed permanently! I could go on, but you get the idea! If there are other locations for this big business, they need to be shut down! read more

If I could give this Doctor's office less than 1, I certainly would. They are the worst! My husband and I were seeing another Dr. that we liked at this location and he left unexpectedly leaving his practice to Dr. Eihab H Tawfik. at Christ medical center. Since all our records were here we decided to stay and give this doctor a chance. It was the worst decision we ever made. They are terrible here, from the front desk to the Doctors themselves. I can't even describe how bad this office is. People in the waiting room for 3 to 4 hours. Change of personnel everytime you go. Different doctor everytime you go. Running unnecessary tests, never getting the results but being billed for them. Not one helpful person in the office. We have been trying to get a hold of billing and get our records sent to our New Doctors for months. No one in this office takes responsibility or follows up. Terrible. Just terrible read more
