One was someone named Steve that…read morehad done a neighbors house, one was a guy named Josh my girlfriend's dad had recommended and one was a guy named Trent my other neighbor recommended. All 3 came and gave me an assessment. Steve sounded like he was willing to take care if me but when he met with the adjustors, didn't help me much. That adjuster basically stated that the hail damage was from previous storms. Josh was too busy and somewhat arrogant. Trent from Great Plains Roofing sent Kyle Burnett who really impressed me by several factors. He blatantly told me that it was now illegal to not pay the deductible and their company was not willing to cover that. In lieu of that he would give a free upgrade to Class 4 shingles etc. Kyle went on the roof and took about 89 pictures and provided them by email along with drone shots and damage locations... very impressive high quality pictures. He spent the time to show me the different colors and types of shingles, drip edges, etc. When the 2nd adjuster came out, Eric (Kyle's Co worker) joined him and helped figure all the damage spots and showed the 10+ hits in the 10x10 square to total the roof. If they were going to go out to bat for me and get the insurance company to pay, I was willing to sign a contract with them (and I am glad I did) Within 2 weeks, I had the materials dropped off and the following day (with a 12 person crew) on a 2300 sq ft home, the entire roof was replaced with the Class 4 shingles. They took care of the eaves, high quality underlayment, drip edges, etc and even installed a solar attic fan. They had a company that they use for guttering so I just paid the amount awarded to me by State Farm + the deductible and they handled it all. They even fixed my chimney stack that was in pretty horrid shape. My next door neighbor got his roof replaced and it took them 4 days to complete and it was smaller than mine. Kyle was always very responsive and always willing to go the extra mile. Very impressed overall and highly recommend.

He seemed to know that what we had was getting in the way of our day to day and with children in the home it wasn't something we could put off. They showed up on time and right away surveyed the scene and put together an accurate and agreeable estimate to remedy our problem. He and his guys had to get under the house and replace old rotted out wood and insured the support of the flooring. Inside they went to work on the tile replacing damaged areas with new tile, making sure it all matched up and to me looked almost brand new. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the work we had Luke do. Luke was very honest, professional, punctual and affordable. I would hire him again without a second thought.

He was not on time to the job one time he was working, which were mostly times which he specified or requested. There were some days he never even showed up, and some days he couldn't be reached. It was one issue or excuse after another and promise after promise broken the entire time. He kept reassuring us he would get his truck back and things would be different.... It never happened and things only got worse. He ended up dropping the ball and stepping away from the job having not even fully completed one third of it. (He completed one bathroom of two small bathrooms and house trim) He had some final touches but quit the job via a text message after nearly a month working on it. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience, as we are now left searching for another contractor to help us with our home remodel. Luke was friendly and honest about the work & pricing. It is evident he likes his work and takes pride in what he does. He did good work when he was here (if he was here), but he was incredibly unreliable, has no crew or reliable help, and seemed to have issue after issue after issue......ad nauseum. If he gets his act together, I'm sure he could be a good hire, but until that happens, I would not recommend it.

I repeatedly said I would think about what they were offering, although I knew who I was going to reach out to, Triple Diamond Construction and Roofing. I watched them replace the roof on my neighbors home a few years earlier and loved the workmanship and care that was put into their roof. I reached out to Triple Diamond Construction on October 24, to request assistance with filing a claim and getting my storm damage repaired. Michael Brittain and Cory Wiley were essential in taking care of getting all of the damage from the storm repaired. I had extensive damage to window screens, gutters/leaf guards, shutters, garage door, fence, out building, the air conditioner, and of course the roof of which everything needed to be repaired. While Michael and Cory were the two people who showed up to take control of the job there were many more amazing workers who took care of doing the work.
