Dr. Manley and his team were very nice to me during my visit. They were very clear about what they were saying to me while giving me information and/or instruction. I love how they were very cheerful and easy to talk to and answered my questions in a way that I could understand. When they talked to my mom they always found a way to include me in the conversation, like they would ask me a question, or talk about me and my teeth; etc., so I always felt like I was part of everything. When the lady came in to get my X-rays, I liked her right away. She was great at giving directions; like how to hold my head, or how much to bite when taking normal pictures of my mouth. I loved being with her; she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Next I met another lady who took us to our room [our own private room!]. She was very nice and very pretty. She talked with me and asked me some questions about myself. I got to like her also. After a while Dr. Manley came in. He gently checked my mouth and said a couple of things to the lady that talked with me earlier. Then we all talked about my mouth. Dr. Manley said I would have some procedures later on, but he didn't make a big deal about it so I wasn't very scared. Everybody was friendly and talkative. Christian P Manley's office is a family affair for us. My oldest who is now 22 saw Dr. Manley for his braces, my 15 year old just got hers off in the past year, my husband is a current patient for his Invisalign and soon we will be sending my 11 year old. In fact, my husband originally went to an orthodontist closer to our house in Renton to get a quote so he didn't have to go to Issaquah, only to be told by the Renton ortho he'd have to have teeth pulled (major dental surgery, recovery and healing) before he could get braces. I told him he should go to Dr. Manley for a second and more trusted opinion, and sure enough he saw Dr. Manley and was told no teeth had to be pulled and that everything would work out just fine doing the Invisalign. Being an adult going into orthodontics for the first time, it was overwhelming on which Orthodontist I should chose for my treatment (especially since I work in the dental field). There are a ton of Orthodontists out there! Fortunately, I found Dr. Manley's office! Not only are they extremely experienced in their field, but they treat you like family. Dr. Manley and his staff are wonderful!! The women at the front desk are so friendly and always very accommodating when I need to schedule or change an appointment. There are two convenient office locations, and at each office they are always ready for my child with a smile and comforting words so my kids are never nervous, even if they know they're having something more "substantial" done. Dr. Manley has always been very thorough and transparent in his explanation for what his plans are for your child and their teeth, and how much everything will cost all in so there are no surprises. Professional, efficient, kid and adult friendly orthodontist. Dr. Manley and his team are very professional, they have billing down to a science, check-in's are simple, appointments are on time and while efforts are made to minimize time away from school, when that occurs they are speedy. The open concept in the procedure area is great as patients don't feel abandoned or isolated while they wait, but because everyone is on their back and facing up, privacy isn't really a problem. We've just gotten started, but I'm extremely pleased with the process. Our little chomper is only 7 and we've already seen improvement and she's happy as a clam to continue the work. read more

Dr. Manley and his staff have been fabulous. My son freaked out at the first attempt to get his expander in and went running out of the building and everyone acted like it happens all the time! Then, Dr. Manley called me at home, on the weekend, to discuss our options to help him get more comfortable. We have now moved successfully from expander to braces - they have put my son totally at ease.
