What I don't understand is the defensive position you are taking, as if you did me a few big favors, when any good business would call the insurance, or not charge for a missed apointment. To me, that is what a business does if a client has a difficulty with figuring out the insurance and other protocol. This place is a scam. Run don't walk away from this clinic! I was there to have a cavity fixed which was under the bridge. Rachel Kramer broke my bridge and pulled a good tooth out. And tried to cover it up asking me to sign a "Consent to tooth extraction" form after the accident happened, which of course was refused. The owner Carson Calderwood implied missing a few teeth not a big deal. And even asked me to apologize to Rachel Kramer who committed this malpractice. Both Dentists and clinic will be on complaint list to Washington State Dental Board and will be defendants on future lawsuit. Snoqualmie is a great place and it should not have such a scam clinic. This person is insane and is in big big big trouble. On top of malpractice, which is a civil matter, this person sent me a bill showing this clinic got money from my dental insurance company for his malpractice work, WHICH IS INSURANCE FRAUD! I was a new patient and I filled out their online form to schedule an appointment. I waited three weeks and never heard back from anybody. I finally called and was able to schedule an appointment within the week. I didn't have a problem with the dentist but I needed a form filled out clearing me for a kidney transplant. I sent an email to these guys with the form attached asking them to complete it. I waited five days and heard nothing back. So I called them and the receptionist says she sees it in their inbox and will complete it promptly and fax it over to my kidney team. A month later I called my kidney and they still don't have my kidney clearance form. I send another email asking for it to be completed and a couple days later I hear nothing back. I call them and the receptionist says they are just finishing up with their last patient and they will call me back. Nobody ever calls me back. I called again and she says they are still in the building but she will send them a message to call me before they close. Nobody ever called back. I send them another email threatening to go to the ADA and nobody responded to it. I finally call again and get ahold of a dental assistant and she actually helps me get my kidney clearance form completed and sent. But by this time I'm already fed up with this dentist. I need some work finished up but hopefully I won't have to get it done here as they have lost my business for good. read more

The weakest link here is not the dentists, it's the Office Management staff. Not only do they have a terrible scheduling staff, but they have no tact or know how to be accommodating to people. They use a southern technique of smiling and sounding sweet, but it is all fake. Most of them seem like eccedentesiast. They might sound accommodating, but they definitely are not. About a year, or so, ago they started excessively and aggressively text messaging you before your appointment. (sometimes a month before.) The text message reminds you that you will pay almost $50 if you cancel your appointment close to the appointment date. After my last appointment, I let my hygienist know of my issues. As part of my last appointment, scheduling as a mess. They strong armed me into a different time slot. They don't call you, they rather send a rude email. If you don't respond there, they send a text message. If you don't respond, they just send you an updated appointment with the new time. What?! The people in the billing department are also horrendous (could be the same people) . Our family lives comfortably, and never has billing issues anywhere else, even with all the appointments we have year round with our two kids. Somehow they screw things up here all the time, and they treat you like a criminal if you question their methods. Look at some of the other reviews, you will see what I mean. During my last appointment, I was waiting in the hall for my hygienist, and I was standing by their break room. I overheard a couple of the staff rudely talking about a family and how they thought they were ridiculous and smug because they were entitled to time slots and questioned their office management techniques. It shows the level of insecurity of running a medical office they have. The Dentists should really re-review their staff here. It's a small community and word of mouth is starting to get around how bad this is getting. As a VP in a large business, I can tell you, this is not a well managed business. They don't cater to the customer, they have not figured out the essentials of billing and scheduling, and they don't treat people with respect no matter the situation. Our family have been patients of Snoqualmie Falls Dental practice for over 11 years now. We have always been treated well and with utmost respect and professionalism. So it is unfortunate that I am writing this kind of a review. An incident occurred a few weeks ago that has since changed our minds about continuing our relationship with this office. I have been having an issue with one of my molars that started 4-5 weeks ago with deep throbbing pain under tooth #19. Dr Kramer couldn't seem to figure out what was wrong and referred me to Endodonics for possible root canal. I ended up having a root canal. The doctor advised he would recommend having the crown redone as well since it was 7 years old and my Delta insurance would pay for it. Dr Kramer advised she would not recommend getting a new crown and just do a restoration filling, in which she did. I continued on with pain. The same pain that brought me to the office in the first place. I was in so much pain I emailed the office for help. I asked if I could have Dr Kramer examine me again and possibly look under the crown to see what was going on, maybe an infection? Dr Kramer's assistant, Stephanie, wrote back and advised I wouldn't be able to come in and Dr Kramer said go back to you Endo for help, for she couldn't help me anymore. At that point I was in tears. I felt like I was abandoned by my own dentist. I shouldn't have to resort to tears to make my voice heard. Long story short the Endo had to redo the restoration. I also got a second opinion from another Endo who advised there was possibly an infection going on and ordered antibiotic therapy which after being on the antibiotics for a week eased the continued pain I was having. read more

It was all a big misunderstanding, and I was able to get our original appointment rescheduled quickly with no problems or issues and receptionist was really nice and kind about it. read more

I traveled further than normal just to have Dr. Calderwood perform the replacement of my front tooth cap because I knew he'd spend the time to ensure the color match was precise. This is still going on as their computer "can't give the details." They also never apologized for not sending out statements or notifying me as soon as this mystery charge appeared. Like most of us my life is busy as heck and getting my teeth cleaned is not up high on the priority list. Today was my first visit to Snoqualmie Falls Dental and with xrays and a thorough cleaning I was out in 40 minutes. The service was impressive. I can't remember the last time that a Dentist cleaned my teeth. He used an electric instrument that didn't leave me with my mouth wide open for a half hour and listening to the scratching of metal on my teeth. It was a much quicker and more comfortable experience than the usual cleaning. The hygenist who polished and flossed my teeth was friendly as was the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Calderwood & the staff at Snoqualmie Falls Dental. The office is new, clean, has the latest technology for dental & office management and has a friendly feel because they really want your experience to be great and have you come back! I've come in for normal cleanings for myself and taken my son in with me starting when he was a little over a year just to have him looked at. It's a quick peek, but really helped ease my mind. Dr. Calderwood is great with kids and has a fun toy box and play area. My husband has come in for cleanings, too. He's a pilot and has a hard time making appointments since his schedule is only available a month in advance, but the office put him on a wait list for certain days if any openings came up and he was able to be seen in December to maximize our benefits (and it's a super busy time of year for them)! I really appreciated that. We had gone several years since our last cleaning when we first started and everyone was kind to us. No lectures, just happy we had finally come in! It was a huge relief. All of our dental office billings have been painless. They bill for us and all our cleanings are covered 100% by our insurance with Delta Dental & Aetna (we changed jobs and coverage). Really all I can say is Dr. Calderwood and Dr. Kramer are both great dentist my son see's both retired myself from the dental field it is important to have good care. They are conservative explain what needs to be done answer all questions you never feel rushed they really go the extra mile. The front office staff is also really good and very friendly. Also my son is in a wheelchair and instead of me transfer him they work with him in his own chair which is really cool makes it easier on him. I went to Snoqualmie Falls Dental as it was recommended by a co-worker and I am glad that I did. Dr. Calderwood is very friendly--as is his entire staff--and he makes the entire experience literally as painless as possible. In fact, I had 3 fillings done today and did not feel ANY pain throughout the entire procedure--which only took 30 minutes! Also, they use tooth-colored fillings so you can't even tell I've got them. My wife and I made first-time appointments with this provider after our original dentist retired. The services rendered were fine, though the dentist who worked on my wife was as interested in talking with the attending assistant non-stop through the procedure as focusing on the work. The reason we will not be returning is due the the impersonal handling of our billing. We just received a notice from their collection agency stating that our balance due had been turned over to them. We never received a mailed billing from them, and upon checking my mostly ignored gmail account, I found that they had sent two email statements of a balance due. Those statements said that one, US-post mailed statement had gone out in August. Again, we never received one. So after supposedly send exactly one printed bill and two emails, without even bothering to send a second or even pick up the phone to see if , maybe - I don't know - a possible error in the address?, they turn it over to a collection agency. There's no dispute that we owed a balance, and once we got notification of it - from the collection agency - we happily paid it. But that's a distasteful way to handle things and we will not be returning to Snoqualmie Falls Dental. read more

I loved my experience here in the beginning, around 2016. My dentist, Dr. Calderwood did a great job on my Invisalign. There were some awesome front desk ladies. I got a call the same time, same date each month to make my payment. Things were great! Until they weren't... Unfortunately I missed a few months of payments, and got behind due to financial circumstances. I received an email from my dentist very politely stating that if we get back on track I won't be sent to collections. So we started back on my normal monthly payment plan (no mention of paying missed months). And things were steady again. Or so I thought... Enter new staff, around 2017. Sweet at first, but not very easy to deal with. Extra payments started getting pulled out each month. First it was an extra $100. The following month towards the beggining my payment amount got double pulled from my account. I called the financial desk wondering why that had happened. Snarky answers. Basically no refund, and it was just going to go towards my balance. Okay, nothing I can do so I let it go and made sure that it wouldn't happen again. Then at the end of the month a totally random $100 got pulled out again! This was after talking with the front desk, and seemingly getting everything squared away. To say the least I was pretty frustrated that money was just getting pulled out whenever they pleased (no it wasn't an automatic withdrawal, it was specifically by the hands of an employee). So unfortunately after an extra $300 of backpay had gotten pulled out without any heads up, I had to cancel my card so they didn't have access and got put into collections. If it wasn't for the sour taste in my mouth towards the end and struggling to stay ahead of my other bills while getting money withdrawn Willy nilly, I would've given this office a 5 star review... read more

We go to Dr. Calderwood at Snoqualmie Falls Dental and really like him. Dr. Calderwood and his staff are super friendly and never give the flossing lecture or say you could die if you don't get your wisdom teeth pulled (this actually happened at another dentist office I went to on The Ridge). At my sons first appointment at 3.5 years old, Dr. Calderwood eased him into it by counting his teeth, etc. His assistant even let my son "assist" with my husband's cleaning and let him sit on a stool by dad's head and use the suction tool. Dr. Calderwood has 4 young children of his own and had a great rapport with kids. He has also revamped his waiting area with a special kids play area complete with toys, coloring books and a TV to watch DVDs on during mom and dad's visits. They do all of their billing up front and you know what each procedure is going to cost out of pocket before you do it so there are never any surprises. read more

Kids were calling my 4-yr-old daughter's teeth dirty because she had stains on them from her time in an orphanage. It was awful. Another dentist told us to just wait till they fall out. No way. This Dental group has gotten terrible over the past few years that we have been going to them. First I had a crown put in. It was Installed wrong. The tried grinding it and it was never right. So I went to another dentist to have it replaced. Out of conveyance I continued to take my kids there. Both of them have had fillings fall out. One of them fell out 10 days after the installation.
