Excellent care, service, cleanliness , responsiveness , knowledgeable staff, friendliness

Last year I picked this place kind of at random, it's local and had good reviews and I am so glad I did! I've never had any orthodontic work done before but was tired of my very gappy teeth and having to floss every time I ate. Dr Nelson and his entire team were so kind and pleasant to work with. Invisalign is pretty straightforward, just do what you're told and you'll get good results, I had absolutely zero problems with the process. The office is very nice, it's clean and bright and comfortable, it's located in a good spot that's easy to get to with lunch options and a grocery nearby so it's easy to fit appointments into running errands. Honestly I'm just so happy I went through with this and that I picked Dr Nelson to do it, it's been a wonderful experience and I got results I am beyond happy with. I would enthusiastically recommend Sammamish Orthodontics in a heartbeat to anyone interested in braces, my teeth are straighter, my face is more symmetrical, my little double chin has been corrected by fixing a small underbite, if I would have known the results would have been this good I would have done this years ago read more

I had a great experience getting Invisalign treatment from Sammamish Orthodontics. I highly recommend Dr. Todd Steinhart who is very personable and kept encouraging me to keep going through the process (I had to extend the treatment as my teeth was moving slowly). I had a chipped front tooth from an accident many years ago and Dr. Steinhart even helped to level it. I found that they always started appointments on time and even it was delayed it was never more than 5 minutes. Everyone at the ortho office is warm and welcoming be it the front desk or the staff. That certainly made me look forward to each of my scheduled visits during my treatment. Megan who helped remove my attachments and take an impression for retainer at the end of the treatment went above and beyond to ensure I was feeling comfortable throughout the process. A compliment for Maddie, the ortho technician that was the emergency "on-call" employee for Sammamish Orthodontics during the week of Spring Break. Maddie was kind and professional. She an asset to this practice as she fixed the 2nd permanent retainer that failed in 3 days after someone else put them in. Overall this practice is good but I was shocked to go find out the entire practice goes away for spring break. I've had braces before when I was a child but of course I didn't take care of my teeth and they started moving around. I decided to give braces another chance and try to find the best place where I felt confident to find what I was looking for. Dr Nelson and staff are just amazing, from the moment I went for my first consultation, to getting my Invisalign and every checkup, I felt I was in really good hands. Dr. Steinhart and his team are absolute pros! I am a 35-year-old adult that just finished my 2 year Invisalign process and it was nothing but a great and positive experience working with Dr. Todd and his team. I have been told all of my life that Invisalign was not an option for me and when I went to see Dr. Todd, he told me that I absolutely was and showed me what my teeth would look like after I completed Invisalign, and I was in. They have the best technology here and can make anything happen. My teeth are perfect, and I am no longer embarrassed of my new, lovely smile! My 12-year-old son is also in the process of Invisalign with Dr. Todd. He was seeing a different orthodontist (referred by his dentist) and it was a terrible experience. They had him in brackets, expanders, and he made no progress after almost a year. They told me he was not a candidate for Invisalign. Not only that but they told me that my son was "extremely difficult" and decided to charge me $2600.00 more because of how difficult he was because he is on the spectrum and is very sensitive. I brought him in to see Dr. Todd and within an hour, he told me that he absolutely could do Invisalign, and it would cost me about $3500.00 less that his previous ortho. I brought my son to his first appointment and Dr. Todd brought me to tears because he was so kind and patient with my son and never made me or him feel that he was difficult or any different that any other kid. My son has been in his Invisalign for 6 months and his teeth have completely changed. The Invisalign also made room for the rest of his teeth to come down without all of the expanders, etc. And my son loves it because he can still eat the foods he wants. I would recommend anyone and everyone that needs orthodontic work to see Dr. Todd. This guy is a true professional, kind, upfront and honest, and wants what is best for his patients. His team is just as great and always go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and get the results you want. I've been a patient of Dr. Nelson's since 1999 when I was 12 years old (I'm 29 now). I've had braces, buttons, bands, spacers and appliances... "the works". The technology and their office has changed (much improved) since then, but the excellent level of service has stayed the same. Dr. Nelson, Dr. Steinhart and all of their wonderful staff maintain a friendly, positive, supportive environment that seems to come naturally to their team. They're fun people and they're really good at their job so I never feel like my time is being wasted. In fact, they've done some pretty incredible work to get me to a proper bite with straight teeth. Not only can I chew properly now, but I've got a great smile too! Their offices have always been clean and comfortable, but I especially appreciate all the natural light from the big windows that look out onto the surrounding area in their new building. It's a really pleasant environment. I've been living downtown Seattle for the last eight years. I could easily find a much closer, more convenient orthodontist, but these guys are worth the 45-60 min drive out to Sammamish for me, without a doubt. read more

They were able to review and turn around an ortho plan for both my daughter and I in one session (even though the appointment was for my daughter). I had a friend recommend this place to me when I was in need of braces and I am SO thankful I found this office. So much that it was even worth the drive from Seattle! The office is absolutely beautiful, it has easy, free parking, the office is always clean and inviting, and they seem to use the most recent technology - very impressive! The staff is always welcoming and friendly with smiles on their faces. I've seen a couple different ortho assistants there and they all have been nothing but gentle and professional! Dr. Nelson and his staff are great. I have not had any issue with them. I'm an adult who needs braces and they have been wonderful. I agree with another reviewer that Dr. Nelson doesn't push to do "the work" just because he can. I highly recommend this practice. My only complaint would be parking but solved that problem by biking instead. read more

What a great orthodontics practice! I recently finished invisalign with Drs Nelson and Steinhart. Both gents are incredibly honest and caring. Today my daughter is having braces put on, and we are happy to be using this practice again. They don't just slap braces on every person that walks through the door, if you don't need braces, they tell you that, but welcome you back for check in some time down the road. You walk into their practice, and everyone you interact with is happy, and kind. I love the staff at Sammamish Orthodontics, they are always willing to work with you to solve any problem you might have. Getting an appointment is easy enough, and there is never too long of a wait. My girls truly enjoy their visits. After the sudden passing of my husband a year ago, the staff sent a beautiful Glassy Baby candle and kind card signed by the entire office. They have continued to go above and beyond to care for my family. They even covered all of my out of pocket expenses for my Invisalign treatment. This was so unexpected and such a thoughtful gift. I just finished my invisalign treatment with this office and am very pleased. Both doctors and staff are very professional, friendly, highly skilled and all work seamlessly with each other. At first I was a little nervous about not seeing the same doctor or technician every time but the staff here are very communicative and there was never a worry. It is a very busy practice but always very proactive in scheduling and always tried to accommodate both me and my daughter at the same time whenever possible. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Steinhart and the whole office at Sammamish Orthodontics. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My 8 year old son just got his braces done there and he told me that "Dr. Steinhart is a really nice guy, I like him". He also looks forward to his appointments because he has fun and thinks that braces are cool. I am so happy for his positive experience. We happened to be there for one of our appointments on Halloween week and the whole office was decorated really fun and everyone on the staff was dressed up like super heroes. My kids were thrilled! My 6 year old daughter said, "I want to be an Orthodontist when I grow up." Nice! I have never had to wait long to get in for an appointment and the scheduling has never been a problem. I have had two kids go thru this practice. The staff and the doctor himself are personable and "friendly". But when it comes to getting an appointment - especially after you have been there a while - it is a pain. There never to seem to have any appointments before or after school. Maybe it is because they have more patients than they can accommodate or because they work only 3 and half days a week... I don't know. But my experience towards the last third of the treatment was not pleasant with respect to getting appointments that was outside of school hours. It was a scheduling nightmare. I am very disappointed because of this and hence two stars. At the beginning of the treatment I would have given them a 5 star because of a staff and office that knows how to market themselves very well. read more
