I had surgery with Dr. Sean T. Lille in October 2024 for gynecomastia removal using the VASER method. I paid approximately $12,000 for the procedure. Based on both the outcome and multiple post-op consultations with other board-certified plastic surgeons, the VASER method was not appropriate for my case and was very unlikely to succeed. This should have been identified and clearly communicated before surgery. Instead, the procedure went forward, and as expected, the results were a failure. I am still left with significant gynecomastia and no meaningful improvement. During my post-operative follow-up, Dr. Lille did not take responsibility for the outcome and instead offered excuses. His demeanor came across as dismissive rather than empathetic or solution-oriented. I left the appointment without escalation because I did not want to make a scene. To add insult to injury, I was later contacted by his office to schedule a second surgery. No refund or partial reimbursement was offered, despite the fact that the first surgery failed and that I now need an entirely new corrective procedure elsewhere. Since then, I have consulted with multiple other plastic surgeons who independently confirmed that I should never have proceeded with a VASER-only approach and that a different surgical method was required from the start. Additionally, during multiple interactions, Dr. Lille made unsolicited comments about politics and his personal views, which felt unprofessional and inappropriate in a medical setting. I chose Dr. Lille based on local media coverage and his reputation as a "top surgeon in the Valley," and I was extremely disappointed. This experience cost me a significant amount of money, time, and emotional energy, and I am now faced with undergoing another surgery to correct what should have been done properly the first time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Lille. read more

I started this process over 3 years ago and with Dr. Lillie since October. What an amazing experience from the first visit with him and Beth. They are reliable and trustworthy and provide all the details I needed for the expenses to what would occur for the procedure. I went to Dr. Lillie on a friends recommendation and I am so glad that I did. I had lost over 135 pounds and had to have a tummy tuck to have the excess skin and fat removed. From start to finish, my experience with Dr Lille and his team has been incredible. I had been looking at a few different doctors but as soon as I met with Dr Lille-- I knew he would be the one to do my breast augmentation. It has been five months since my surgery and they have healed beautifully. Surgery was fast and recovery was a breeze. Nobody believes I had them done. They look so natural and fit my body so well. On August 2016, I had a Gynecomastia surgery performed By Dr. Sean Lille that resulted in a depression line going across my right chest, extending under the armpits causing severe visible deformation. Two days after the surgery was done, I contacted and asked him about the visible depressed line, and his answer was that "he had placed and extensive amount of gauzes to cover the surgical site and that's what's causing compression on the area but it will flat out by time". On the three month follow up post surgery visit, the deformity was still visible and he knew that this was not going away, so he sent in his assistant, Merlyn, to meet up with me so that she can feed him with how I truly felt about the results before he sees me so that he comes in prepared. Also, she joined him during the visit and repeated all nonsense he said (I believe that this is not in line with the medical code of conduct). During the visit, he had told me that the sides of the chest aren't a part of the gynecomastia surgery and I will need to have another surgery with additional cost but the fat grafting will be free of charge. I had consulted a lawyer and his opinion was that, "you don't know your damages unless you see the fix and have another expert opinion". So I had another revision surgery done by Dr. Lille on May 2017, but still no improvement. I had consulted another experienced surgeon and his report confirms the existence of deformity and unaddressed areas with fat. I went to Dr. Lille several years ago for several cosmetic procedures. I had a common problem after several weeks of healing & I wanted Dr. Lille to resolve the problem, but he refused & I was NOT happy at all. I walked down the hall & had another cosmetic surgeon resolve the issue. I was pleased with the results. Even though I'm not happy that Dr. Lille refused to repair an issue post-op, I will say that he is a fine surgeon. He does a lot of cosmetic surgery on weight loss patients. The surgeries that he performed on me he performed well overall. In the summer I'm in my bikini often & nobody ever noticed that I had any cosmetic surgery done to any of my body. My body is worth 20K, but I'm glad I went to Dr. Lille overall. I have seen some very scary post op photos, and I'm thankful that mine came out so natural looking. Dr. Lille is also a military veteran as I am, and I do respect that. I recommend Dr. Lille for cosmetic surgery overall, but I feel that he can offer more to his patients when a procedure doesn't heal as expected. If the procedure should and can be improved, it should be. I feel he could be more loyal to his patients, and because I don't feel that he is, I rated him lower than I would have. Went to this doctor for a consultation about 2-3 months ago. One of the worst experiences. Very very unprofessional. The lady who talked to me first went through the paperwork from previous doctor who did my previous breast implant work (granted paperwork wasn't the best - very conflicting info) she did a good thorough job trying to figure out what actually happened. Then came in Dr Lillie. It went downhill very quickly. He attempted to read the information. While reading through my paperwork from my previous doctor he immediately got flustered and THREW my papers across the table and said, "ok, so what's really going on." I just looked at him in dispare. "You should know!" What doctor says that in a condescending tone? First of all, my previous Dr in Kentucky told me I had one implant replaced due to wrinkling which Dr Lillie's nurse or whoever the lady was told me it said rupture in paperwork. Already a conflict hence I didn't know what really happened. So I told him I had no idea what was going on based on my reaction when she told me what the paperwork said. I was beyond upset at the lack of professionalism with this doctor. How he has good reviews I'll never know. I was treated very unfair and the treatment was extremely unprofessional. Sad for him and his lack of professionalism because I paid for my surgery via cash in full out of my own pocket. Dr Lillie never took photos - told me he would only go smaller which was not what I wanted. I requested "fluffy boobs." Smaller was not an option since I was preparing to pay a good amount of money. Out of the 4 doctors I saw Dr Lillie was the worst. Go to him if you wish but I'd never waste the $75 dollars for his consult fee of sheer disrespect which basically left me very very upset. I've had consultations with almost a dozen Drs, almost scheduling the surgery with one, but I'm so glad I waited til I found Dr. Lille's office. 4 months after procedure I couldn't be any more happy with my decision, and every day I am more happy with it. At my consultation, I'd basically decided the look I wanted. When I came in for my pre op we were suddenly talking 50ccs more than the absolute most I thought I wanted in terms of cc's. There were days post surgery that I became emotional and freaked out "Now I have big fake water balloons on my chest" but honestly, if I have one piece of advice for you, please TRUST THE DIAGRAM THEY GIVE YOU (you know, the one with the smiley faces) and go bigger than you think you want.
