At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn't research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately. After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant. Explant can be intimidating, as you're unsure about how much tissue you'll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery. I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen's consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision. Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome. Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift. Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses. The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I'm grateful for his kindness. Dr. Cohen's staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura). I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined--several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. Dr. Cohen is truly an artist, and I'm beyond happy with my results. My husband agrees, saying it was "money well spent!" Choose Dr. Cohen--you won't be disappointed.

He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions with patience. It was clear how knowledgeable and experienced he is, which gave me a lot of trust and peace of mind. I actually traveled from San Francisco to Arizona for the surgery, and the entire team went above and beyond to help make the process smooth and comfortable. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive, which made traveling for the procedure much less stressful. The whole experience felt very professional and well organized. His office and team were amazing -- always kind, responsive, and truly available whenever I needed them. Knowing that the office was reachable 24/7 gave me a lot of peace of mind throughout the process. Everyone on the team was warm, supportive, and highly professional, and I felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Marcella the nurse was amazing!! I'm very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend him to anyone considering breast reduction surgery.

When I went in to the surgery center they were so kind - and my anesthesiologist was amazing. Surgery went very smooth. When I left the center I had about 48 hrs of discomfort and couldn't do much, but on day 3 I was out of bed doing a few things for myself and no longer needed pain meds, only OTC. I never had dark bruising!! Only a little yellow appeared on day 4 through 6. On day 7 I was getting antsy to leave the house, all bruising gone, and on day 8 I had the splint removed and immediately loved the look which has only gotten better with time. In 2017 I made the worst decision of my life and chose to get breast implants. I went with a older…read moresurgeon who had good bedside manner. I thought I was making the right decision by choosing him. When I came out of surgery I discovered that he went over the muscle when most surgeons go under the muscle to prevent discomfot and encapsultions. I also discovered that he removed two moles on my stomach without consent so I could be (in his words) "bikini ready." Two days postpartum I judt didnt feel right. I called my surgeon and told him I didnt feel like myself. He told me it was called "boobie blues" and that I was coming down from the medications that I was pumped with while under anesthesia (fentanyl!). A week in I noticed my boobs were completely numb nipple down. He explained this was normal and feeling would come back within a few months (6 years later they are still numb). Since 2017 my symptoms have progressed. My boobs hurt 24/7 due to just thin skin holding up 375cc's. I started getting crippling anxiety 6 months in. Anxiety so bad that my body would shake while talking to even friends or family I was close with. Along with pain and anxiety came - thyroid imbalance (I now have to take a medication daily since shortly after surgery), hair loss, memory loss, absence/disconnectment/psychosis, constant fatigue, monthly sinus infections, random tongue swelling, reduced oil production on face and scalp, weight gain/swelling, body aches/joint pain. EVERYDAY for 6 years I have been experiencing these symptoms. I feel lost, I feel hopeless, I feel stuck. I carry around an epipen for fear of my life when my tongue swells and my throat closes. My left breast has been trying to encapsulate since the year it was put in. I went in to the surgeon over SIX times telling him I could feel and visibly see what feels like a bump or ripple on two spots of my left implant. Each time he squeezed my boob Incredibly hard until you would hear a "pop" which is tearing the scar tissue around it. One of the times they recorded it on their iPad so they could show my husband how to do it at home. I left each time with fingerprint brusies from him. The final time I went in for this reason my husband demanded he wrote an order for a MRI. He wrote the order but refused to pay for it. So no idea what's going on in there. Fast forward to 2020 during quarantine - his assistant messaged me and asked if she could send the video of him squeezing my boob to another patient of theirs who was having the same problem. I told them absolutely not!! I have researched hundreds of surgeons to have a total explant removal along with a full capsulectomy. The cost is more expensive then what I paid to have them put in. Getting implants have been the worst decision of my life and I will stop at nothing to get them removed. I have 2 young boys and am self employed. I feel like ive lost 6 years of my life and I am terrified to lose more. I even started an anti depressant this year and have tried Nutrafol and many other vitamins to help my hair and body heal. My hair comes out in handfulls. I have hated my implants since the day I got them and I wish I could go back in time.

Dr. Bass in our opinion is one of the most talented plastic surgeons in Arizona. He has come through for us every single time and we have asked a lot of him. I'm not sure I would have done all the surgeries I have done without his and his nurse, Norma's guidance and expertise. They work as a team and are totally professional and very very particular about my care and outcome. I feel they are not only medical staff to me but friends for life. He has an unbelievable bedside manner and makes us feel everything will work out and be perfect. Here's the bad news: He is retiring this year and so this last procedure is it for me. And of course, he did another outstanding job on this very old gal. Lol. He will be so missed and Scottsdale AZ is losing a very talented, hard working, and as he has been named several times, TOP DOCS, in Arizona. We will miss you Norma and Theresa terribly but keep in mind you all have made so many of us so very very happy over the last 30 years. We love you all and hope all three of you have many wonderful retirement years. Marlene and Kevin Grimsley

The dog was unleashed and the owner about 10 feet away in my apartment complex. I am now permanently marred by his animal. I booked this appointment a few weeks ago and have been waiting. Mind you another doctor emailed me saying he could get it close to invisible for $2k. Dr. Chasby told me that it was permanent but refused to make a record of his medical opinion which I needed for my law suit, saying it wasn't as bad as other scars he's seen. Just because it isn't as bad, doesn't mean it still isn't a permanent ugly bite mark on my body that I do not deserve and will have for life. It's my body, and I WILL BE THE ONE who decides what looks 'fine' on MY BODY. He then stated that he "could not give me extra padding if I planned to file a law suite." No sir, I am not requesting that. But I am requesting you make record of the professional opinion you gave me that I am indeed permanently scarred. He then had the nerve to tell me that my legs looked great regarding their muscle tone attempting to distract me from my frustrated tears. This experience was completely unprofessional on multiple levels. Thank you for wasting my time today Dr. Chasby.

I finally completed the ipad form and hit "submit." Instead of submitting, it it didn't save anything and I was quite unapologetically told to "fill it out again." At this point, I was already not vibing with this place. If I had been the receptionist, I would have apologized profusely, told the doctor what happened and then asked him if perhaps the patient (Me) could fill it out again as I spoke with the doctor. The male receptionist seemed like a fairly pleasant guy but was just pretty clueless on etiquette. I turned around and high-tailed it out of there asap. Now I'm reading a bunch of not-so-stellar reviews. I'm very glad I trusted my gut. I fully plan to keep searching as I have a couple of months. Trust your gut, ladies and gentlemen! And if I were this business, I would do some serious employee training on reception protocol.

I went for a service on July 1st and again the stylist tried to throw on a system that didn't fit. When I challenged her she threw a fit and returned with the manager who was less than courteous. After the impromptu measurement session it was confirmed that the system was inadequate due to its small size. What was the response? Perhaps, check stock for correct size system? Perhaps, reattach the existing system and put in an order for the correct size? No. This managers response was to order the stylist to put the incorrect system on anyway, then just walked out without saying a word. After this the stylist never bothered to ask anything about the cut. She just chopped super short without saying a word. A system that's too small doesn't work and immediately loosens because it's a smaller area, and has nothing to bond to. This center couldn't care less about this I suppose. So now we're into the Summer Travel and I'm stuck with a system that looks like a hat. They couldn't care less. I'll just start getting services out of state. Phoenix definitely needs a new center.

Let me tell you why. I initially called the 800 number to set the appointment. They refused to give me any information about what they do. I asked if this is a surgery center, they refused to answer. I told them I wanted my double chin reduced or removed and "do you do surgery?". They said I would have to come in for a consultation. Then they transferred me to the local office since it was same day. They gave me the same run-around, but I thought, maybe that's how these things work. I arrived, and they asked me to fill out 3 pages of information prior to my consultation. I said, "first, can you tell me if this is a surgery center?" and they wouldn't answer. So I asked "Is this some kind of miracle cream pitch?" and they finally said "No", "we do surgery". I said I'd rather not have to fill out all the info as I was going to go to three separate consultations before making my decision on where to have my surgery, but she insisted. Ok, but really, 3 pages of my info before even talking to me? Ok, maybe that's how these things work. I filled it out, and while doing so, the office lady said "Let me turn up the volume on the TV as this is the initial part of your consultation". Seriously? It's nothing but testimonials and I already got that on your website. What a disappointment this was turning into. Then, despite having arrived 10 minutes early, the lady tells me that since I arrived so late, my appointment wouldn't take place for at least 40 minutes (or 2:10pm). What?!?! Is that how you do business? Why not just tell me your first appointment is at 2:10? I spent an hour of my day and a gallon of my gas to try and pay you thousands of dollars for elective surgery and this is how you treat your customers?!? So I asked the lady if I could have my information back as I was leaving, and she said "Well, since your hopping from doctor to doctor we should keep it". What?!?!
