Looking back I can't imagine wanting to ever leave. Actually I never did. But I leave I did, and I mourned it for the first decade. Then during the middle of the second decade I ceased to miss aspects and eventually came 'round to mourning it again, but for entirely unexpected reasons. But yesterday I reached into my 500Gb hard drive and scooped out a selection of CDs to cram inside my iPod Classic to listen to on a drive to a distant city called Plover (I like to childishly call it P Lover) for what was to be a single trip for work. It turned into two days, which wasn't a bad thing. During the drive I broke out Stoner Witch, The Melvins 90s major label disc. Listening to that in my very awesome new Pioneer car stereo was way better than my nice but not sturdy home speakers. So upon todays end of workday I wanted to find a used Cd store or a thrift store that might have something cool. Instead I found an awe inspiring little store that's chock full of EVERYTHING, that is if everything is rock music related. I didn't bother to look at the possibility they might also sell schlocky country music by crappy rock musicians that decided to go the so wrong right wing GOP path to Ooops. I wandered into the wrong thought. I found a place that is so awesome I will make this area a destination instead of only a place to stop for a whiz or perhaps because work brought me. GO! Don't hesitate. Radio Kaos Records is f'n the place!

I took one star off, due to how warm they keep the store. Every-time I go here I get overheated no matter what I'm wearing. Besides that issue I have no complaints.

I then spoke with the employee and the following is how that conversation went: Me: Do you always treat your customers this way. Sam: What? Me: You didn't great me, you just took my stuff and rang it up. You did not speak to me at all during the transaction and just handed me the receipt and never said a word. Sam: I guess. Me: Who is your store manager. Sam: I am Me: Wow, you are the store manager. Sam: Yes, have a nice day I would not recommend this store. I will not be frequenting this Barnes and Noble in the future, as I have better options where the customer is still treated with respect.

They stock sealed copies of Limited Run Games for $30 which is just unbelievably awesome! They also stock fun toy merchandise which is neat! Customer service varies between employees but the main guys are usually good! Prices of games are usually reasonable as well and I've yet to encounter any glaring exceptions.

"The prices are a little high for some items." As far as these things can be true, the store is great at finding generally what you want. You might not find exactly what you are looking for, but what store does. You don't get a lot for selling, but they are always buying books, movies, etc. Plus, you get cash for what you sell, never credit. You can find good deals on an array of media. The staff is also excellent; there might be times when they get short with you, but that is okay. They get all kinds of customers.

After rudly being told to leave I went into the store in an attempt to help my friend sell his materials. He then proceeded to tell me they were my friends and I had to get out. After further discussion he proceeded to accuse me of "going around and stealing records" in order to pay for a drug addiction. I have never stolen a record in my life! Being falsely accused like this is not how you handle proper business!

Merchandise ranges from hats and sweatshirts to homemade jewelry, candles and epic prints (scope the Supper Club map in my photos!) I left with a cozy Wisconsin hoodie ($40) and my boyfriend purchased not one but two Wisconsin hats ($35 each).
