I have periodontal disease and have had it for years, so I knew what to expect. I went back last week and had a deep cleaning, on one side, which was done under local anesthesia (shots). Dr Christy has a gentle touch and a very calming demeanor, which helps with someone as nervous as I am in the dentist chair. My deep cleaning went well and I go back in a couple of weeks to have the other side done. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The office is clean, modern and has a very nice atmosphere. I am glad I found this dentist and feel like my dental problems will be well managed.

Test of time proved who I believed was correct. The prices here are astronomical. The cleaning is not done with a tool but a glorified water pick. If you ask for manual cleaning that also is an additional charge. I went to this dentist back when he was on Palm Bay Rd and every filling he gave me needed to be replaced within 10 years. That's not a good dentist. Ranks ways down there with Richard Leong, who has been sued for making up stories about cavities that don't even exist. If you want to pay twice the price for routine cleanings, have fillings only last a decade, then this is the dentist for you.

On December 3, 2025, Bright Now provided a written treatment estimate showing our out-of-pocket cost would be $522.50 after applying both of her dental insurance plans. We relied on that estimate when moving forward with treatment. Months later, when we returned to complete the exact same procedure, we were suddenly told that due to a "system change" they no longer accept or bill secondary insurance. As a result, the cost nearly doubled. What makes this even more frustrating is that both insurance plans had previously been verified and included in the original treatment estimate. No advance notice was provided, no documentation was shown explaining the change, and we were left with a dramatically higher bill after already experiencing multiple scheduling delays. Because of the repeated appointment issues, lack of transparency, and significant increase in cost, we ultimately made the decision to switch dentists. No family should have to delay needed dental treatment for their child because an office changes its billing practices after providing a written estimate. Patients deserve clear communication, consistent pricing, and honest expectations. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I have requested that Bright Now honor the original written estimate and am escalated the matter with no successful response.

They will lie to you saying they have contacted your insurer when they haven't, and even lie about mailing items. I visited River Breeze in February 2025 and it's now mid-October and to this day they haven't resolved this issue. My insurer told me all they have to do is call and they will be paid .... They even verified my coverage and the charges but said the practice has not called, filed a claim correctly, not done so by mail. Nope, not a fly by night company, it's Delta Dental.
