There's so much to say and not enough space! I found Christen on Yelp, same place I find most everyone. I wanted to do a cookbook with family recipes to give as a Christmas gift to my grown adult children and I had no idea who to look for to do something like this. So I felt at ease right away knowing that she knew what it entailed. As I said, this is a big deal. A lot of work. Typing all the recipes, finding the original images of the recipes online..it's big. Needless to say she never once acted like it was too much or too hard or too anything. She communicated with me, asked all the right questions and gave me her opinion when I asked. I felt like we'd worked together for years, she read me very well. The end result was a beautiful (I mean BEAUTIFUL), cookbook that any professional would be proud of. I was immensely proud of it. It was beyond anything I thought I would get when finished. My son and his wife and my daughter opened these gifts on Christmas Day and they all cried. They didn't speak for a good 60 seconds, they just opened it and looked and when they realized it was all of their favorite recipes I'd made while they grew up, they cried. They said it was the best gift I'd ever given them and that..made it all worth it. I couldn't have done it without Christen. And without Christin I'm convinced I wouldn't have had the finished product that I so love. Next, she helped me with a large and lavish bridal shower!
