My nails had a previous overlay on them which I was unhappy with the shape and overall look of them. I was looking to get another acrylic overlay with color acrylic and Kisha exceeded my expectations. She gave me exactly what I wanted. My nails haven't looked this good since I arrived in this area. 5 stars for Nancy and 1 star for client care…read more I booked an appointment with Nancy 18 days prior to the appointment itself because I needed to look polished and professional for an important event. I have gone to Nancy before, and she is a head above the rest when it comes to quality services that last. Unfortunately, when I arrived at my appointment time, two assistants were there already working on clients, and there were two additional people waiting. They asked me if I was okay waiting for them to finish the other 4 people. I told them that I had an appointment with Nancy, and they said she had the flu and I would need to wait for one of them. I always want people to take care of their health, but as someone who has worked in several service industries, I know the importance of communication. Had they notified me about Nancy being sick, I could have made other arrangements, but instead, I ended up paying a service charge at another nail salon for someone to stay after hours for my services. What made me even more frustrated is that they assess a charge if the client doesn't cancel within a certain notification window, so they would have charged me if I had not provided the same courtesy to them. And to add insult to injury- I made an appointment for my last visit, and they made me wait 40 minutes for that as well. The only reason I booked again was because they were apologetic and attentive as a result of their own oversight in booking. Needless to say, I won't be returning. I hope Nancy gets well soon and they re-evaluate their customer service practices.

Due to this level of care for my experience I wanted to update my review. I feel more confident now in trying again in future with different tech since management cares about resolving issues when they arise. I walked in and wanted a short set of white nails with 2 fingers with glitter. The nails took over 1.5 half and when done the loose glitter was super rough. I asked about top coat because I have had loose glitter done in the past and they stated "that this kind of glitter only lasts a week and they don't put top coat on it." I explained I wanted top coat because in my other experiences where my glitter lasted 2-3 weeks they added top coat and it smoothed it out some. I looked it up on and it also agreed that is the best practice and that the salon was either cutting corners or inexperienced. In addition to this whole getting my nails done the manager, a nail tech, and a customer where in a yelling match for about 10 minutes. It was uncomfortable, took to much time and I don't like leaving knowing my nails "should only last 1 week" when they are expensive.
