I found this groomer off of her Facebook page. I was looking for a last minute bath and brush for my puppy before Christmas. The places I went before were booked solid. Christina responded to my message right away and was able to get him in yesterday. She was very patient with my questions and request for an early pick up. I am new to grooming and only had my prior experience with PetSmart and another local groomer to go off of (both were great). When I walked in to pick up my boy, I noticed he was not barking. This was shocking as he hates being in a crate. He was calmly laying down. I asked her about it and she said he was fine. I then noticed that none of the dogs were barking. It was very calm. The salon is very tiny so everything is pretty tight but it was clean and the dogs seemed happy. She just opened so I am sure that she will get busier and appointments may not be as easy to get but I would not hesitate to come back. I can not comment on her cuts or trims as I just requested a bath and blow out. I took off one star only because the gate that separates the grooming area from the lobby and front door was just a pen panel. I would like to see a more sturdy gate that can't be pushed or jumped over as her front door opens up to a busy street. She did just open her shop so that may be something she is planning to do. read more

I was very pleased with Christina's pleasant and welcoming demeanor. She made my boxers feel comfortable and they came home looking fabulous, feeling beyond soft, and happy. They were even sent home with cute bandanas accenting their collars. Her place is small and the street parking leaves something to be desired, but in time I'm certain she will get enough clientele to be able to move to a bigger location to be able to take in more appointments per day. :) read more

Took our dog here several times. Christina usually did a decent job with the haircut but her and her helpers attitude are not so good. One time we showed up at 9am as scheduled but she was closed. 30 min later we get a text that she is running late because of something at home and she won't be there for at least another hour. No big deal, I get it, life happens. A couple months later and she calls me at 10:54am to say my dog is done. I am in a conference call with a customer that ran a little longer than expected. No problem, An hour and 15 min later I stop at the bank to get cash and according to my GPS was there picking up my dog at 12:26pm (1.5 hrs after the call) when I arrive she tells me to NEVER come back because I was late. But what really got me was her assistant. While she kept repeating herself about me being 20 min late, he continued to make rude comments in the background about how late I was, over and over and said I am ALWAYS late. My routine has always been to stop at the bank for cash on my way to pick up my dog. I looked up those ATM transactions and I have never been late before but he kept insisting that I am ALWAYS LATE. He was egging her on which just made it worse. I don't get it, it's OK for life to happen and she can be late but not her customers. I'm glad I won't be going back to Christina's Doggy spa! We relocated from Fresno and were looking for a good groomer in the area I called and made an appointment to get my maltipoo Sam in for a grooming it was our first time visiting Christina's she was able to get us in within a week. My husband dropped our dog off and he said Christina was very nice and my dog was very calm with her he usually starts shaking uncontrollably when taken to any groomer and he didn't seem uncomfortable like that at Christina's. His cut was perfect exactly what I wanted. It was all even cut and perfect and not to mention he smells heavenly. We love Christina's! She and her husband do a wonderful job with our sweet Pyredoodle (Pyrenees-Poodle mix). Luna is always excited to see them and she comes home amazingly clean and smelling great. This is a miracle because we have a lot of tree sap on our property, where Luna's favorite thing to do is to run through dirt and pine needles with her mouth open to taste all the debris. Luna often looks like a light-brown/grey dog but after a visit to Christina's, she is sparkling white! I used to do all of Luna's grooming myself so I am amazed that Christina can get such a close shave on her paws to save Luna from all of the foxtails on our property. Luna hates having her paws touched but still adores Christina. I also love that Christina is always willing to change Luna's style of cut according to our preferences. Wow! Awesome job ! From the meet and greet to the pick up, Christina and her husband were gentle, calming and did a fabulous job with my Shitzu/ llasa apso. Bandit hasn't been to the groomer since Covid and it was needed badly as my skills as a groomer have a lot to be desired. Bandit was shaking when I left him. I took my dog here earlier today for grooming + deshedding (he is a husky mix ) . My dog came back so soft and smelling so good . I could also tell the difference in his coat after the deshedding. He's also not shedding like he did before he came in, which is really nice and much needed . He even came back to me with a cute bandana on him! I contacted Christina to schedule an appointment and she was great. She made sure to ask that our puppy has had all his shots before scheduling. We scheduled to get a bath, cut, and nails trimmed. Arrived for our appointment on 4/8/2023, no waiting and got him right in. Since it was his first time she explained that she would give him lots of petting to help him get comfortable. She also let me know it might take longer than normal because it's his first time. She got done when she said she would. Let me know he doesn't have fleas and suggested a good dog food to use to help him not itch so much. She did an amazing job, he looks like a completely different dog.
