I feel like she did not listen when I told her a trim and to shorten it some, my little guy was shaved all over, thought I was getting a Lion cut! The owner, Sandi, can be harsh and curt in person. I could feel her irritation (burn out?) with comments she made at me. She seemed friendly over the phone when I first booked. She was recommended so I pushed thru the red flags I felt. Big big mistake. My experience: After I left I heard her yelling at my puppy in an angry impatient way. The front door was open and my dog had been barking. Shame on me for leaving w/out my young dog immediately when I saw the state of her place. I thought, maybe like everybody, "she is understaffed and over busy". So I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. Our dog had diarrhea for a week immediately following this appt so I decided to not come back. This was the 2nd time we went. She also did not have her ready at her pick up time and had to cram to get quite a lot done. When I called at two hours after drop off, she said had not even bathed her yet. We were leaving town so she did a bath and trim in 45 minutes. I get it ... the money is good. $125 approx for 1-1.5 hours ... but if you don't like your job and you are working with sensitive creatures that can feel your irritation and anger- maybe it's time to move on. The first time after the grooming, my dog did not let me touch her feet for over 2 months after that grooming. This was an abrupt shift for her. Still my dog is uncomfortable about her feet being touched. BEFORE that 1st grooming I could massage her feet daily. I wanted her feet to be touchable and worked w her daily as a puppy so we could easily remove stickers or burrs every day. My vet said my dog probably got a razor burn on her toes when the hair was being trimmed short there. I had read that Dog groomers are supposed to change the blade as it heats from the trimmer and / or touch that blade regularly when doing the sanitary area and toes as that is a sensitive area and requires a close shave type trim. Making sure that blade is not hot against the skin is huge professional responsibility of groomers. This was a huge learning lesson for me. Trust your gut - look around - if the groomer doesn't care about keeping their place clean ... well then that's a sign. There was piles - multiple - of hair and caked on dust on the everywhere like the decorative mirrors on the walls. I understand you cannot keep a dog salon perfectly clean or dust free. This was days or weeks of build up. My overall feeling is that the owner needs to retire and is very burned out. She seems to have definitely lost her joy of working with dogs to me. I learned a huge lesson and I live in a more conscious aware state BEFORE leaving my dog anywhere now. I was totally new to the world of dog grooming when I first came here. I tipped her over 20% both times. I will gladly and generously tip a groomer for good care of my beloved furry friend. This is not the end result I wanted from these transactions. It's been very hard for me to write this review. Especially to admit my own neglect of listening to my gut and to my dog that went into a wide eyed panic when I left her the second time. That just feels plain horrible but I have learned my lesson. My dog did not deserve this. read more

First time in and very impressed with the friendly, courteous welcome, as well as the time the kind groomer spent introducing herself to and putting little Chico at ease before taking him back for his bath. Later, a mixup in communication between my husband and I caused a delay in Chico getting picked up until closing time, but I really appreciated how understanding and gracious they were about it. Chico came home wagging, smiling and smelling fresh, so I know his experience there was a pleasant one and that they'd taken the time to clean and groom him well. Initially I was unhappy with the summer cut received by my dog and I complained here on Yelp. Sandy, the owner, made the effort and took the time to track me down, personally apologized, and offered to "make it right" with either a refund of my grooming fee or a corrective grooming that she herself would perform. I was very impressed by this gesture and offer as Sandy did not excuse the cut, took full responsibility and was determined to satisfy. To me, this is excellent customer service and deserves to be noticed. Had I expected that type of reaction, I would have notified her at once. I have grown accustomed to the lack of care and regard by many employees and proprietors at other businesses and had presumed it would be the same at Bipi Gi's. I was wrong, customer service and satisfaction is definitely a priority of the owner and that is a much greater reflection on a business than an isolated grooming experience. read more

The ladies working here have a get into heaven free card for sure! My sweet little angel nipper of a furry family member "Vanilla" looks amazing, smells amazing every time I take her to Bipi G's. They listen to my feedback on how I like her fur cut. Her paws and nails have never looked so good. Staff takes the extra time to trim her feet and nails so nicely. UPDATE: The response from the owner missed the point. I understand that our dog would need to be put in a kennel. Our last groomer also put him in a kennel and he would cry, but they were able to handle it and were also not rude about it. What I do not understand is the poor attitude and rudeness of the staff. You're are in a customer service business but clearly do not understand how to speak to your customers. Your interactions with myself and my husband were terrible. You were very obviously annoyed with me asking questions, I know this because of your tone of voice and the eye roll you thought I didn't see. You missed the point of my review and focused on the kennel issue, instead of using the feedback to improve. It is beyond me how his place has 5 stars. The employee we interacted with was unprofessional and rude. This is the first time we have been here and she seemed annoyed that I asked questions about what the service included. Our dog hates to be crated and will bark and cry. We told her that when we dropped him off. When we picked him up he was crated in the back because she said he was crying and barking she couldn't hear people on the phone or other people who were dropping off they're dogs and she can't hear him cry in the back. Again she was super annoyed at the crying and barking. I think she may be in the wrong business, it just didn't seem like she enjoyed working with dogs or interacting with the pet parents. The are very unprofessional. The groomer was not there when I dropped off my pet, the person that was there looked like he was part of a gang. When my pet was done, they called and told me to hurry and pick him up before they closed (15 minutes later) and they wouldn't be there during the weekend so my pet would be locked up. They are very good with my pug and do an amazing job every time. They are fairly priced and and very friendly, if they weren't so busy we could talk all day. They trim the nails clean the ears and do many extras that we don't ask for without extra charge. I pick up my baby and he smells like baby powder! The fact that they asked for proof that your animal is up to date on all their vaccinations shows that they truly have your pets best interest at heart. Today was my first day trying out Bipi G's. I made an appointment for both of my very large and energy filled pound puppies to enjoy a spa day. Due to some unanticipated errands, I arrived a half hour early. The owner was beyond accommodating and more than happy to invite my babies in early. She promptly phoned me a couple hours later and I was so pleased to see them run out cheerful and smelling wonderful. She gave me the low down on everything they had treated them to for the day and had adorned them with the cutest little bandanas! All in all I was most impressed. The prices were super affordable ($35 each), the finished product was beautiful (I wish my pound puppies could always smell this good) and the service was beyond friendly and inviting! read more

I recently moved to the area and had a 10:30 am appointment for my dog as a new customer today. When I brought him in they told me he would be ready sometime in the afternoon because they were "really busy." When I called at 3:00 pm they told me he hadn't even been started because they were so backed up! (So what was the point of making a specific appointment time?) I went and picked up my dog without being groomed and left. I had concerns when I brought him in because the place was not clean, it was very noisy, and the cages are in the front near the door. If a dog happened to escape it's cage, it could easily escape into the street! I've had my dog groomed many times before I moved to the area, and he was always finished within an hour or so of his appointment time. I strongly recommend finding a different groomer unless you don't mind your dog sitting aimlessly in a cage all day with no idea when you'll be able to bring him home! read more

WOW, I'M SO IMPRESSED!! I took my Rottie in today for grooming (a rarity, as I usually do it myself) and told them her atrociously long nails were a loss as far as trimming. I have NEVER been able to get them trimmed, at a groomers, the vet, or elsewhere. Only under total sedation has she allowed trimming. BUT, to my utter amazement, the staff at Bipi G's was able to trim my dogs nails using their clever instinct and doggy prowess. I'm SOLD on Bipi G's! AMAZING!!! read more

I do not understand how places like this stay in business. We made a mistake and should have went with our gut-feeling once we dropped off our dog. It looked nice from the outside until we walked in. If you want to see what happens after years of doing meth, come in and see what your future will be if you do it!!! First impressions have no value here. Simple instructions were given on how to do what we were looking for. Certain breeds have ways to be groomed, and if you have to ask about what needs will be done (something you wouldn't do with the breed anyway) that scares me. Other groomers we have went to in other states knew exactly what we wanted every time we walked in the door. We might be a bit picky, but it is our dog and we expect a little bit of professionalism and some personal care and appreciation for the breed.
