Both of our dogs are rescues. Cali has pretty bad separation anxiety, and Willow is a obsessive chewer, so it's just not a good idea to leave them home alone, and we refuse to board our dogs or use doggy daycares, as they feel safer and more comfortable in their own home, so pet sitters are the best option for us. Kristy was kind, definitely a dog lover, and hung out with them for a few hours, and both of our dogs were happy as could be when we got home. It looked like they were all watching a movie together when we arrived. :) Very relaxed and in good spirits. We were pleased with the service, and so were our dogs!

I've told her this but i keep getting her favorites. I don't want them in my house anymore. I have learned not to patronize such places once this starts to happen. Julie will also double book and even triple book, and i heard she tells sitters to put priority on dogs and do cats after. Sometimes my 9:00 cat appointment gets pushed to 10:15 because of her scheduling problems. I'm going with the many, many local sitters who do even better jobs and they are invested in our neighborhood cats. Julie being "bonded" means nothing but she says that's her strength. Ok.

I used to pick up said complicated pup from boarding and felt so guilty that he was so stressed even though he was familiar. After spending time at Happy Tails, he acts like he's moved in and has to say his goodbyes before he leaves! Night and day difference, and it brings a lot of comfort knowing they both genuinely feel safe and loved even if they're not at home.
