Went last Tuesday to check the place out and get some scrubs for school. The lady in front was nice and i purchased 2 sets one from clearance which was no returns after purchase and another from the regular rack. I paid the sets left no issues wasn't until i came back same day to return the regular set what threw me off first was that for refunds you cannot use the card you used at first to pay. Odd. Never heard of that anywhere. They forced to use a credit card to return the payment. What if i didn't have a credit card at all??? I was then forced to use my husband's credit card. I have yet to receive any refund from the set I returned. Going to call tomorrow if nothing is done im going to dispute the payment with the bank. Was really trying to give the benefit of the doubt but come on . I knew it was fishy but stay away from this place or pay cash unless you want to be scammed. read more

I came in to pick up my scrubs. Face mask is required before entering. The sales lady gave me sizes to try before I decide what size fits me best. She's very helpful too. Gave truthful comments and advice. They do alterations at $5 as long as it is purchased from them. Small shop, not much room to move around but plenty of scrubs though. Spacious fitting rooms. And their are 3 of them. Located in a small plaza with a Limited parking. read more

First of, don't let the name Christina's Uniform fool you, Christina is no longer the owner, since day one, when the new owners took over, the quality of customer service sucks, today i took in a scrub(top) to have embroidered, the lady not the owner called and said it was ready, now they close at 5 p.m. I got there at around 4:10, I come from around 6 miles away, to arrive and the business is close, all locked up. Now I came in good faith to pick up something I needed for work, and they closed up on me, they could've of called me and said, hey, we are closing early, but they chose not too. Christina would never treat customers like that. But just in general, since these new owners started, they suck like i said before. Bought a pair of uniform and it's $40! This is my 5'th times buying here same design and cut. This time I don't like the color that's why i need to change it but they don't allow to exchange the colors.. the lady said come back on Monday so that my boss can decide the came back and still the boss say no. I can thread monofilament through the eye of a salmon egg hook, but for the life of me, I can't seem to thread a sewing needle. That's where Christina's saves the day! For only $4.50, I can get my pants hemmed within minutes. I have short legs, so whether it be jeans or dress pants, I either have to find pants with an inseam of 28-29, or have the length altered. I generally have 1 or 2 pair of jeans, 1 pair of khaki pants & 1 pair of black dress pants, so I don't go to seamstresses that often. Having bought a new pair of black dress pants, due to my weight loss (yes!) I came to Christina's for a hemming. Walking in wearing the dress pants, I had the seamstress pin the correct length, and then I changed & gave her the pants to work on. Minutes later, everything was good & I was ready to go. $4.50 is about the best deal you can find, IMHO. Christina's seams to have a good inventory of scrubs, from brand names like Dickies, to the cheap no-name attire. They also carry footwear & some basic medical supplies. Service was good. The ladies usually are by the entrance, and are there to answer any questions. Parking is in a private lot dedicated to Christina's. Be forewarned, the place is easy to miss driving by on Artesia. Just keep your eyes peeled. Christina's does it for me when I need some garment alterations. My lack of sewing competence & also lack of desire to are what will keep me coming here. As long as the hemming prices stay cheap, I'll be a dedicated customer. Recommend! read more

I have been coming here for the past 5 years to get all my clothing altered. On average I would spend $7-$11 for my pants to get slimed and shortened. I just went in there today and it's a new owner. I brought the pants they did previously to match the new patch I just got, but now they are charging me $26. The price to alter my pants now cost more than the pants itself . Time to find a new alteration place. read more

Great place to go for cheap scrubs, shoes, stethoscopes, pens, miscellaneous doo-hickies we need in the medical field are here from hammers, pen lights, pens, pocket pals, nursing hats etc. etc. etc. I live on the far end of the spectrum but I don't mind the drive. The lady is pretty helpful as well especially when it comes to shoes. I'm a fan of the Allegria shoes so I come here to buy them. Come and stop by, it's a ginormous store worth perusing. read more

I really needed to get some embroidery and alteration done for my lab coats and Christina's gets the job done! I was able to drop off the coats and be able to pick it up the next day! Sleeve alterations cost $3.50 per coat. Embroidery per line is $8.50. Prices are very reasonable and cheaper compared to other places I have gotten quotes for. So I came here to get the scrubs I need for my school, because that's where the free voucher for the 1st set was honored. Basically it all goes down hill from there. I got the 1st set done no problem, but when I wanted a spare there came 2 problems. I ordered a set, because they didn't have them in stock, and they told me 2 things they would do. 1. They would call me back once the uniforms were ready , and 2. Alter the pants. I had to wait 2 days til I called them back, because hey guess what the uniform was ready the day before but they never called.... or so they say. I get there, and I find out that the pants were never altered, and I had to call them just to find out my uniform were ready... Never going here again, they obviously don't care about their customers. read more

My experience there was not the best. I needed a specific size and instead of ordering my uniforms they made me squeeze into the smaller size. I went in 2 weeks before my clinicals for school and they said they would have my uniforms ready in 3 days, lie. They took 5 days then told me oops, just take a smaller size. This place is enormous. For those who like the wink brand, they carry the whole line and have all the sizes (not all the colors though). Their prices are fair ($14.50 for a pair of scrub pants from the wonderworks line). The other lines seem to be on par with what they go for online. (Price-wise) Don't expect to get stellar service here. When I came in, I wasn't greeted or offered any help while I was there. My go-to spot for quality scrubs at a reasonable price has always been Christina's Uniforms. Christina's typically carries a variety of popular labels in a wide range of colors and sizes. The staff here, however, are generally not very friendly. Don't expect to be welcomed or even acknowledged upon entering the store. Don't expect anyone to assist you in finding the style, color or size you need. You'll be virtually invisible to the women working there until you make a move towards the register. ($) This is essentially a self-serve third-world sweat-shop situation... That said, what Christina's lacks in customer service they make up for with the affordable prices! My recent visit, however, was disastrous! Short on time, I was on a mission to grab two sets of Wonderwink scrubs (one Yellow, one Lime Green) in the 4-way stretch fabric and call it a day. But, I was disappointed to find they ONLY had X Small, Small, 1X, 2X and 3X... NO MEDIUM or LARGE SIZES!!! When I asked if there were more sizes in the back, I was told I would have to order it. That was NOT an option for me. If I had that kind of time, I would have just ordered online! C'mon Christina's... You can do much better than that! They even made my wife's maternity scrubs here, my wife says the pants with the elastic part for her belly was the best thing ever invented. We even bring our regular clothes to get hemmed and fixed here. Best prices anywhere and they always do a good job. Christina and her staff are always helpful. I'm not the type of person to write bad reviews but this place was far the worst place I've ever been to. The cashier was somewhat helpful but the short Asian lady that sits next to the cashier was so rude. She wanted my partner to try on the uniform in front of her. My partner wasn't comfortable and insisted to go inside the fitting room. The lady got mad and threw the uniform at my partner. . Good thing my partner had a quick reflex and caught the uniform before It landed on the floor. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

When you walk in there is a person who will hem your clothes on the left and someone who will do taxes (?) on the right. The cashier is right in front. There's a bunch of cheaper options along the wall and about 4-5 dressing rooms. They also have a clearance section (about 2 racks) right in front of the dressing rooms. Bathrooms are located in the very back of the store. I had gone to 3 different uniform shops prior to Christina's and am glad I found it on yelp. Its pretty big and if you need help, the ladies at the front are super friendly. I was looking for royal blue scrubs for work and she was able to give me a bunch of different choices. They do have some deals, on specific scrub sets where if you buy 3, you'll get the 4th for free. Those scrub sets were a bit expensive IMO. I saw a bunch of different brands but ended up buying some Dickies pants and Wonderwink tops. I noticed that some reviewers said customer service is lacking here. I got a different experience from them, but if you ASK for help when you walk in, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to assist. Oh, and they also have a good men's selection too! read more

I dropped off a pair of my OWN pants because I needed maternity pants for work and they said if I bring in my own pair they will add a pouch in the front so I brought in my own pair and they never called when it would be ready even when I left my phone number with them I had to call them to know it was ready the next day and then they charge $15.50 just to cut 10% of fabric and add a pouch never again will I go there too expensive if I knew it was going to be that much I would have taken it somewhere else like I just took my own pants but anyways just stay away too over priced and they don't call you when your stuff is ready . read more

New store location is a huge downsize. It's about 1/3 the size of their old store location. I purchased my nursing cap for my RN pinning ceremony, before they changed locations. Not as many uniform options to pick from now. But they say they can order whatever you don't see in the store, which is helpful, but I prefer the old location. Not sure if it's worth coming back. read more

So I got new scrubs today from here... XS is tight at the tummy and long as hell. WTF? Small was way too loose. The material is really thick, I guess that is good for the winter? One star for their cheap alteration prices. However, you get what you pay for. And the service is terrible. I requested a original hem for a greys anatomy scrub pant. When I came to pick it up two days later, It took 10 minutes for them to find the pants (no apology). Then I see the job is sloppy.. Hem is very crooked/uneven and the slit is not as long as the original. When I pointed this out, Christina says "you worried about what the bottom looks like?" Nuff said! Shame on you Christina..
