SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!! Ok I know the sign says it's a donut shop but ask me if I have ever had a doughnut here! The answer would be no, but they look good and smell good! If you don't know already then maybe you should stay sleep Christine Donuts has the best breakfast sandwich off the 5 freeway! They bake all there bread fresh in the morning so when you get the Ham egg and cheese croissant sandwich which! oh my lord sits flashy buttery and soft crust is to die for! And to top it all of the owner has one of the greatest personalities he's always so cheerful and bubbly super early in the morning! So do yourself a favor as your on your way to Disneyland or six flags stop by and get you a fresh breakfast sandwich and hey try a donut hole if you bold! We love Christine's Donuts!

Best bagel sandwiches in the 562. The bagel tasted homemade. Just look at the cross sectional. Ugh beautiful. Horrible cell service but I digress.

Combo turkey, ham, and roast beef. YUM!!!

This hidden gem of a donut shop (hidden because it's located deep within a parking lot that neighbors what appears to be some sort of school) makes what I think are some of the BEST SANDWICHES I've ever had. On this day I ordered a combo which consists of turkey, ham, and roast beef. I'm afraid I lack the foodie eloquence to convey just how tasty their sandwiches really are - THEY ARE FRIGGIN' AMAZING! Built on what seem to be fresh baked French rolls, the sandwiches here are filled with fresh ingredients: crisp lettuce and onions, delicious deli-quality meats, pleasantly spiced up with slices of pickled jalapenos and yellow chili peppers. I can't quite identify the sauce they use - is it a ranch sauce? Whatever it is, it elevates all the ingredients to another level of yum. To put it simply these sandwiches are just made the right way without resorting to anything too fancy or gimmicky. The mouth feel and flavor is absolutely delightful and ultimately satisfying. But be aware - they are so yummy you might develop a bothersome craving for them at odd times of the day and night! Of course, they also have donuts and some really huge croissants (or is it bagels? I forget 'cuz I haven't actually tried anything else but their mind-blowing sandwiches). I'm sure the donuts are great too and someday I will give them a try. Well, if you ever find yourself in the Santa Fe Springs/Downey area near the 5 freeway during lunch I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you stop by Christine Donuts and try their heavenly sandwiches.

I'm confused I guess owners don't have to keep consistency

Well I was all jazzed when I decided I was going to have some ice cream some rainbow sugar that is at a local donut shop that I appreciate it the serving the price is okay for the serving three bucks and a 24 oz cup didn't mind that had purchased this a couple times and today I thought I was a little person same price half the serving and I asked them wait a minute what happened to the other size $3 he replied... Honestly I'm just looking at my ice cream melt if I wanted a small ice cream I could have obtain that gas ,travel ,energy and disappointed maybe because he doesn't see my face everyday he thought maybe hey I'll give this guy a little cup and charge him $3 when in fact I just got taken for $3 and $1.50 worth of ice cream but hey come check it out enjoy it not!!!!

This is a large turkey sub! A little pricey but TOTALLY worth it!

Cherri's Donuts was sitting around the corner so it was an easy stop before returning home. I picked a couple of favs: Apple Twist & Cinnamon, & they're huge! I also added Boston Cream Donut, Croissant Donut, & Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles, & the owner threw in a Blueberry Cake Donut. Whoohoo! When we got home, M's Frosted Vanilla Cake with Sprinkles was missing. I went through the bag to check the contents & found that I was charged correctly even though my son's pick wasn't in the bag. I saw that it was set aside but didn't make it in the bag. It was fine since we had several pounds worth from just 5. Even though it's late in the day, the donuts were fresh but not "hot off the fryer" fresh. It's debatable which was best: Apple Twist or Cinnamon Roll. The twist was fluffy & soft, with bits of cinnamony apple filling & a light sweet glaze for some added sugary goodness overload. The roll was a tad heavier, but still fluffy with cinnamon swirled through the pastry & topped with the same sweet glaze. M was sad that his pick was missing, & made do with a tasting of the Blueberry Cake Donut & Croissant Donut. He liked it, but still wanted his vanilla cake; he's haunted by the rainbow sprinkles. Like fellow Elite Vince V. parody sings... donuts the size of boulders... every day that I adore you! It's a bit of a drive, but if I'm in this neck of the woods... I'm walking right on over! Recommended: Everything ordered... I highly recommend the Apple Twist & Cinnamon Roll!

I would never want to lower the rating for this place - Cherri's Donuts in Santa Fe Springs - but…read moreI'm doing this for something other than their food or service. In driving out to the Coachella Valley desert towns from LAX, I made the habitual stop here. Not buying donuts for anyone on this visit, the stop was to satisfy my donut craving. I also had to use "a" restroom. They don't have one. I snuck into a nearby store I didn't patronize to do so. Thank God the code feature was not functioning at that time. On the outbound trip, I ordered a double chocolate, a strawberry frosted, and an orange frosted donut. I shouldn't have done that, but I love Cherri's Donuts's donuts. Those three donuts were lunch. In fact, I stopped in again on my way back to the Los Angeles area and got a strawberry frosted and an orange frosted donut. On this stop, they made for breakfast. I'm enamored of their orange frosted donut more so than anything else. With the social dynamics and related have-have not problems in SoCal, it seems businesses are guarding their restrooms more vigilantly ... or not providing restrooms at all. I also think that Cherri's Donuts probably serves a local clientele living within a 5 mile radius. They don't think that someone driving to and from LAX might make it a donut pit stop and also need to make a restroom stop. The employees here are reliably pleasant. There is also a small parking lot behind there store, so I used it instead of parking by the curb since I had luggage stored in the back of the vehicle. With the 605 and the 5 intersecting nearby, one needs to get into the correct lane for the Telegraph Road exit fairly quickly. However, for their donuts, you'll manage and you'll do it.

Of course, we had to try both! Blueberry Cake Donut: SO good! It was amazingly soft and fluffy on the inside with slightly crisp edges on the outside. It wasn't overly sweet at all and was surprisingly light for a cake donut. We loved it! Blueberry Cake Donut with Blueberry Icing: Okay, THIS ONE is on another level!!! The blueberry icing makes it extra decadent, but somehow it still isn't overly sweet. It tasted so fresh, soft, and honestly just sooo yummy. Definitely our favorite! We tried a few of their other donuts too, and everything tasted freshly made. They were all incredibly soft, fluffy, and not overly sweet, which we really appreciated. Just for the blueberry donuts alone, Jean's Donuts gets a 5/5 from us! And Miss Jean herself is sooo sweet and friendly! She even hooked us up with a donut twist, which was delicious. Thank you so much, Miss Jean! Amazing donuts + the sweetest service. We will DEFINITELY be back!!

We came at 6pm so we didn't expect our selection to be fresh...but it surprisingly WAS. Even when I ate the donut the next day, it's still fantastic. Knead Donuts, located in the bustling Cerritos Promenade, has been serving artisan donuts in the city for several years, now. I'm not a big donut guy, saving them for a rare treat or when they're offered at an event. Alas, sometimes, you just gotta satisfy that sweet tooth. Strawberry Crunch- Highly enjoyable, topped with a slice of fresh strawberry, the Strawberry Crunch didn't feel as guilty as a double chocolate covered everything donut. The crumbs sprinkled on top providing texture to the fluffy donut, and I was quite happy with my pick. My initial visit was a 2 years ago. On my more recent occasion, I stopped by to see what's new. Knead closes at 1pm on weekdays (Monday closed, till 9pm Sat & Sun), and being approximately 30 minutes to close, two boxes of assorted donuts were left to choose from. Knead's Dubai Chocolate donut was a whopping $8! I tried to haggle the price down, both individually or with another donut, to no avail. No way was I planning to buy a whole box, either. Prices vary around $6-$8. Aware prices have gone up everywhere, that's still too much, in my summation, for donuts. In addition, not being a big donut guy, I don't foresee being a frequent customer. Knead Donuts does sell beautifully crafted donuts, which would satisfy even the most critical sugar junkie, but with premium pricing attached to each donut, can't justify the money spent, for my needs.
