Each season, the ranch adds new activities, and despite the growing crowds, it never feels too packed thanks to the wide-open space and plenty to do. Our kids make a beeline for the corn pits first thing--they could play there for hours! They're also big fans of the giant slide and obstacle course. As a dad, I have to say their burgers are top-notch--some of the best you'll find at any local event. Just don't wait until the end of the night like I did, or you'll be stuck in a long line. And whatever you do, don't skip the donuts! They come in cinnamon sugar and glazed, and while both are amazing, the glazed ones are my personal favorite. The hayride is always a relaxing highlight of the evening. If you plan to visit later in the day, make sure to dress warmly--it gets chilly fast once the sun goes down! It might even be nice if the ranch offered blankets for guests on those cold nights. One small suggestion for the staff: at the rock climbing wall, please make sure younger kids get assigned to the easier side. My 7-year-old was put on the harder one and only made it a few feet up, but she still had fun trying! Overall, Cross E Ranch continues to deliver an unforgettable fall experience. They fully enjoyed so I'm the odd one out here. There was a small $2 discount for coming in after 6:30pm. Then they also have a you pick pumpkin patch for free that I did not see. They are really weird about buying tickets, you CANNOT buy tickets from the idle employees sitting in the booth. I had to fill out a whole form and enter credit card info on my phone and then show them the barcode. This part seems especially odd and annoying.

Cons: Advertised as free, but got to the entrance and they were charging a fee ($5), no prices when you get to the food area, so I just started grabbing a few items I wanted to try. As did my better half. We had two full plates and two calamari bowls. When we got to the cashier our total was a whopping $200+ bill. I was dumbfounded. They had a ticket type process for the alcohol? You buy tickets and trade them for the alcohol. On our first trip up the gentleman said we were short one ticket. So we had to go back to the ticket line and ask for another ticket. Why not use cash or card? The food we chose was alright and authentic, but way overpriced in my opinion. The calamari was yummy. I understand it's a fundraising effort for the Greek Orthodox Church, but I honestly wouldn't attend another festival myself. Too expensive.

They also hold concerts, community gatherings and, well, celebrations here. There's ample parking and lots of outdoor space which hosts festivals and concerts in the summer. Inside, there's a large multi-purpose room that welcomes guests and offers a nice stage for performances. Keep it on your radar if you're looking to fill your calendar and try something new. I've been here for several work conferences, art shows, and community events, and it always delivers. The space itself is open, light-filled, and flexible. It somehow works just as well for professional presentations as it does for creative exhibits and big cultural gatherings. There's this peaceful energy about it, like the space knows how to hold people and ideas and creativity all at once without being overwhelming. I've been to Great Salt Lake art events here that were honestly stunning. Local artists, thoughtful installations, and the kind of vibe where you run into people you know and leave feeling more connected. For work events, it's comfortable and professional but not stiff, which is exactly what you want when you're networking or presenting something important. It's the kind of place that adapts to what you need it to be. A thoughtful conference venue, a celebration space, an art gallery, a gathering place. Every time I've gone, I've left feeling like I got something out of it. Whether it was ideas, inspiration, or just a really good conversation in the hallway. This event is dedicated to celebrating different cultures and backgrounds through art, performance and food. It's a one-stop shop for a multicultural delight! This festival is free to attend, although you're encouraged to bring cash for the food and art vendors. And come hungry-there are so many great food options and the perfect opportunity to try something new. There's a large stage where different performances take place throughout the event. I love hearing the different music and watching the dancers-it's mesmerizing. There's another stage closer to the library in the amphitheater that also has different entertainment-usually things like poetry readings or smaller dance groups. I like the proximity of the performer to the audience-it's a more intimate experience. Most of this event is run by volunteers, so it's definitely a community event and a labor of love. They host several workshops a month and always mix up the locations as well. Sometimes their events are more intimate 21+ events at Alibi, and sometimes we're using a space at NHMU (and getting a complimentary NHMU ticket for the evening!) or the Valley Fair Mail. Every class is so much fun, and it's a lovely community of people from all over the valley. I've met so many wonderful people at these classes. The artists that host them are so talented. I've never considered myself very crafty or creative, but after taking these workshops, I've realized that I have so many skills and interests that I never knew I had! It feels like every workshop honors the creativity of my inner child :) In addition to their workshops, they do a million other things that benefit our local community and foster creativity. They host two large events - the DIY Festival in August and the Holiday Market in December. Their staff is always friendly and helpful, and every event I've attended has been fun and well organized. It was as very hot & the sun was beating on us here. There are 5 stages with local talent performing. Local artists are selling beautiful items, most are reasonable with cash & carry. A lot of jewelry, tchotchkes & crafts. I saw a few things that I would've liked but don't know how I'd get them home. Food vendors have refreshing drinks & various foods.

I do wish there were more activities and like the other review a lot more immersive. I wish there had been more themed food and missed my opportunity for a turkey leg with some more themed beverages and adult beverages. It was nice to have such a large area but was confused with the Western houses/store in a Renaissance Faire.

I thought it was best to purchase in person, just in case we were late and not knowing how the parking would effect our arrival. Luckily there was parking near there, but only paid $3.50 an hr to park, so might as well. I figured it may take us about an hour to explore Dreamscapes. I saw the sign in the front of there store to scan and purchase tickets on your phone. The lady when over a few rules and procedure. We really had a fun and enjoyable time filled with laughter. The creativity and unique concept gave each room an amazing experience. Plenty of photo ops you could think of which made it interesting. If you have a weird but artistic imagination, I believe you will enjoy Dreamscapes.
