My brother in law sent a customer of his into Finstads to order tile for their project. The tile…read morefinstads ordered was extremely expensive, $50 a sq/ft. After the installer looked at the tile, he determined it would not take the "slope" of the shower pan and would "lip" out because it was too large. Finstads sales staff suggested the tiles and said they would work. Finstads refused to return or exchange the tile without the customer paying for the complete return and exchange. Their expertise picked out the tile, they should stand behind it and eat the cost themselves to exchange for the proper size. I suggest taking your business elsewhere.

They didn't sell subzero's, which we…read morereally wanted, but they did have Thermidors and they were very expensive so we settled on some Frigidaire professionals, which at first we thought was a good idea. Shortly there after we had a repairman up at our house repairing something else and told him of our purchase and he looked at us with horror and said anything but those! So we decided to cancel the purchase and instead put 14 grand down on a subzero that's going to take 14 months to get. The flooring place helped us out and did what we needed and they were very nice and they sent us a check for the return money and the guy was very nice. We'd recommend it.

We even contacted the owner at the store in Bozeman but he's related to the boss in Helena and it's a "good old buddy" system where they refuse todo anything We have expensive wood floors in the main part of the house, kitchen dining and entry, and we are stuck with this horrible installation that is chipping and separating and just looks bad and really spoils what was otherwise a good job.
