What a painless (ha, kind of) experience with Randy's Flooring!…read more I DESPISE carpet. All caps. Underlined. Bold. In red, even. Carpet is disgusting. Alas, we moved into a house with carpet throughout. Not only carpet, but at the time, new carpet. So I was stuck with it. (Because why would we possibly tear up something that was brand new?! Or so I was told.) Fast forward nearly eight years and the carpet had finally grossed out even my partner. (Two kids under 10-- one of which is a boy-- three dogs, and a pandemic of home workouts will do that.) Huzzah, new flooring! We had Brian with Randy's Flooring come to the house and get all the measurements. We decided to try to salvage the only non-carpet flooring in the house (original oak) and just match that throughout. Pricing was expensive, but on point. Jake came and worked his butt off, let me tell you. He painstakingly took off floorboards (and meticulously labeled them), ripped up carpet, cleaned subfloor, laid new wood to match pre-existing wood and then sanded down the old wood. He then stained it, reinstalled the floorboards and doors and answered all of our ten million questions. Additionally, he went above and beyond in that he knew we had a Great Dane (Marvin) that could wreak havoc on our floors-- so he got extra heavy duty hardening product to ensure his nails didn't do damage. What a process. I went nearly three weeks without my pups, a stove, refrigerator or washer and dryer. It was quite an experience. (Thank goodness for my air fryer.) I'm insanely happy with the product, the people and overall experience. (Though, in 20 years-- when this floor needs updating. I'm just moving.) Home renovations are not for the faint of heart. Randy's Flooring makes it bearable and the end product is marvelous.

A mutual acquaintance referred us to Hayden Construction. Ben Jordan, the owner of Hayden Construction, came right over and assessed the damage. A day later he and a crew fixed the damage, which required sub-flooring, and replacement of part of the finished ceiling and wall below the window in the basement. He also had to support the deck during the construction. The work was high quality and Ben's team took steps to prevent any future water damage. Ben could have taken advantage of my dire situation, but he charged me a very reasonable rate, cleaned up all of the debris and was a delight to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Darren lied was verbally abusive when questioned about the very unprofessional and unacceptable job he did. He did not power wash the house prior to painting as promised. Someone was home all day the day he claimed to have been there power washing the house. He wasn't there. He rushed the job and painted wood siding the day after two days of heavy rain and a day before he told us he would be there so no one was home. The paint job was sloppy and incomplete with many spots simply not painted at all. The paint spray was all over things that should have been covered (the fence, tools in the garage, the concrete patio). Plants were ripped up and paint was sprayed all over the yard. He used personal property that was in the garage without permission and left these items outside or in the yard when he left without offering to replace items no longer usable. He started demanding payment before we were home and able to assess the job he had done. Darren made excuses, lied, was bullying and abusive when confronted about the problems with his work (swearing at and angrily threatening my daughter). He was asked to leave the property because of his behavior and was paid for a job he didn't complete. I would give Dedicated Painting and Darren a no star rating if that were possible. Update: Since writing this review initially, as predicted, the paint has already started to wash off places on the house. We had to repaint many places that were missed and clean paint off places that should've been protected. So sad.

Paid in full upfront. 3 weeks later it arrived. Looks great. However, I was delivered an 11x16 shed. Contacted the business and (in a polite tone) explained the discrepancy. The business claimed the shed dimensions are measured from the eve of the roof. Explained that before purchasing the shed I had been shown another 12x16 shed on the lot and had measured it to verify that it was in fact 12x16. The business, rather than be of any assistance, invited me out to measure any shed I want to (sarcastically inferring that I was a liar). If this is how you treat client's that have paid in full, this is the last business you will receive from me.
