She did the virtual classes when she was 15 and 9 months and felt that was very easy to do and got her permit at 16. We also did the driving lessons, which they set up all 10 lessons up front and if I had an issue with a lesson and needed to reschedule, I emailed to which they assigned another day for her. They picked up at school and dropped off at home. We also signed up for the sponsor to go with her for her license road test. Would go through them again for my other child when he is going to start the process of driving. A++++

Maxim was incredibly helpful--he explained everything clearly, showed me where and how I should behave on the road, and answered all of my questions. The platform they use is very convenient--it shows exactly when and at what time your lessons are scheduled. You can choose from different packages and lesson plans, and there are reminders sent 2-3 times before each lesson, which is super helpful. After completing the first 10 lessons, I took my driving test but unfortunately didn't pass because I made the same mistake I had been making during the lessons. I then decided to take another 10 lessons, and after just 8 lessons, I went for my test again--and this time, I passed with flying colors, making no mistakes at all! I now feel much more confident behind the wheel. I'm really grateful to Maxim for helping me learn how to drive and, more importantly, for eliminating my fear of driving. I now have a strong desire to drive and gain more experience on the road! I'm even planning to take a highway lesson to further build my skills and confidence. I highly recommend Ashland Driving School! You won't regret it--you'll love it!

Avoid this place at all costs (unless for some reason you want to get worse at driving?)…read more During the classroom section, the instructor mainly "taught" by recounting stories about car crashes she saw on her facebook feed. There was absolutely no useful content, only the stereotypical shock videos plus whatever tangents the instructor felt like going on. Following are my experiences of the various road lesson instructors: Instructor #1: Taught incorrect and dangerous information (outdated steering wheel positioning and handling) Instructor #2: Was verbally abusive, berating students until they broke down crying (which he ignored) Instructor #3: Actually taught some useful driving skills, but shared highly sensitive personal information about his past students, and was xenophobic Instructor #5: Was nice enough, but not a very good teacher Instructor #6: Also berated students, artived late to lessons tl;dr: This place is great if you want to traumatize potential drivers, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything else. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The last time he failed reason was parallel parked wrong, and not aligned to the front car. It was not true. I was watching and the diagram drawn by the examiner is absolutely incorrect. I should have made a video and considered filing a report or hiring an attorney to sue the RMV and the school. SOMETHING IS VERY FISHY HERE. Anyhow I am looking into the option of escalating it with authorities. GET YOUR DRIVER'S EXAM SCHEDULE DIRECTLY WITH RMV. YOU WILL SAVE FRUSTRATION AND MONEY.

The instructors -- Monique, Mark, Cathy, and ESPECIALLY Paula -- were beyond unprofessional. They weren't just rude; they were mean, dismissive, and actively cruel during lessons. Instead of teaching, they chose to bully, belittle, and completely humiliate my child. Paula in particular behaved with such impatience and hostility that it was honestly shocking. Someone with that attitude has no business working with kids or new drivers. Every single lesson left my child stressed, upset, and feeling terrible about themselves. Not one person on staff took responsibility or even cared. The toxic energy in this place is unbelievable, and the lack of basic respect is disgusting. Their communication? Horrible. Their professionalism? Nonexistent. Their attitude? Vile. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the emotional damage -- this place should be avoided at all costs. not to mention, paula used the word "shit" in front of my child. Cursing around teenagers is entirely inappropriate and unprofessional.

What was supposed to be a milestone and a fun experience, turned out to be a harrowing experience for me. My first class was with an instructor named Rich. Let alone the fact that I had never driven before, on my first day Rich took me out on the main roads of Framingham, when I literally felt that I should be driving on neighborhood streets. Needless to say, I made many mistakes, and instead of being patient with me, as it was my first day, Rich was very mean and condescending. As it is, I was sceptical of driving - I had put it off for so long, his demeanor and aggressive attitude made me lose even more confidence in myself. In subsequent lessons, he would cuss and abuse, and would rudely slam the brakes on his side, even for petty things such as driving close to the yellow line, or not reversing in a straight line, even though the car was nowhere near the curb or any other car. During my time learning with Rich, I had come to know from another source that he had previously slapped a student. Fortunately for me, I had only done 6 classes, when CoVID-19 was enforced upon us. After the resumption of my driving classes, I was pleasantly greeted with the news that Rich had been fired. The new instructor, Nick (Mr. B) has been awesome to work with. He is calm, composed and the effect is that even after a long hiatus, I am driving well and Nick's attitude has been a positive influence on my confidence. I am hopeful that Anderson Driving School can breathe a sigh of relief after firing Rich, and hopefully after all this, everything will look bright and on the up.

It feels as though they go out of their way to ensure that teenagers and their parents struggle unnecessarily. Communication is virtually nonexistent, and when you do get through, the tone is dismissive and arrogant, as if asking a simple question about scheduling or requirements is an outrageous imposition. Their class sign-up system is confusing and poorly managed, with no guidance offered to help navigate it. Every interaction leaves you with the distinct impression that they take pride in being as unaccommodating as possible. My daughter's peers, who attended other driving schools, had smooth and straightforward experiences. By contrast, every step with this school has been an exercise in frustration. One Star - strictly for the organization, communication, and office staff. The actual driving instructors were wonderful. Parents, save yourself the headache and choose literally any other school. This one is a nightmare wrapped in arrogance.

So the time comes and we're pulling up and I ask the boy where we're going. He says "there" and points to a really cute looking historic home. I swear I must have let out a sigh of relief at that point. The place was really quaint with old wallpaper and furniture. It's like visiting your great grandparents house, that sort of feel. We had the whole place to ourselves, but spent the time downstairs where there was a full kitchen, dining room area and living room. The perfect space for the number of guests that came. Upstairs is a big room that's all cleared out with a little stage. I hear they teach ballroom dancing to kids here once a week, which I think is fantastic. Overall I was impressed with the place and was happy my family had picked someplace a little more unique for the day. Now if only I can convince the boy to someday move back to Acton so the future offspring can take dance lessons here!
