It's also music to my ears when I hear "no cavities!" That being said, Gannett Drive Dental is the best dental facility that I have been to. The staff are INCREDIBLY nice and accommodating, and you can tell that they really have a passion for what they do. Whenever I go, I always get Michelle as a dental hygienist and she is fantastic at what she does. She always makes sure to tell you what she is seeing and why she is doing what she is doing, but she doesn't expect you to talk back, which is nice. There is nothing worse than having a hygienist who wants to have a conversation with you while their hands are all up inside your mouth. Michelle will take pauses and ask questions to get to know you, which is a nice added touch. Dr. Kivus is incredibly personable and makes an effort to get to know every one of his patients. It's these little personal touches that make Gannett Drive Dental what it is. I will definitely be a faithful patient to Gannett Drive Dental.

She was so friendly and helpful! She set me and my husband up with appointments, took some basic information down and mailed out our new patient forms promptly. I had my first routine cleaning today and I had a very positive experience overall. I was greeted upon entry, the waiting area was clean and comfortable and my wait wasn't long. The dental hygienist, Gina, was friendly, kind and did a great job cleaning my teeth. I didn't experience any discomfort. She listened to my concerns and addressed them patiently, professionally and knowledgeably. Dr. Fillebrown was also very kind, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I was pretty anxious initially but after awhile I found myself much more at ease. I'm very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Gannett Drive Dental.

When I had a cracked and ultimately crumbling molar, I was quickly scheduled for a visit with Dr. Atienza, who performed several complicated procedures involving three posts, temporary and permanent crowns, virtually no pain, and finally, a restored and perfect tooth. She and her assistant were professional, efficient, and kind throughout, and succeeded in making a somewhat daunting experience a highly positive one.

So, I expected the worst when I arrived at my appointment such as needing several root canals, cavities​, severe gum disease, whole mouth replacement, etc. I was ready to hear that I needed to undergo extensive dental work to make up for my negligence. However, everyone was SO nice and Dr. Homicz is a lovely man who immediately picked up on my apprehension, which is a sign of a great healer. He explained that he was going to check everything out and make some recommendations, with the help of Kendra, his assistant. He looked around very gently, rattled off some dentalese to Kendra, had his x-ray​ tech Jenna take some pics and then recommended a deep cleaning but assured me we could approach at my comfort level, whether it be a little now, a little in a few months, maybe numbing perhaps? I went with Colleen for a cleaning and she could also sense my fear and said she'd go easy. As she worked on my teeth, I was pleasantly surprised how it didn't hurt, my jaw didn't ache, and my gums were not in shooting pain. She later said she didn't go easy on me and thought all I needed was to just show up again in 6 months. SERIOUSLY?!?? This was not at all expected, so I was thrilled. I am a big baby when it comes to sharp objects and the staff at High Tide Dental made me feel comfortable, which is not easy to do. So, if you're like me, scared to go to the dentist, you'll be in good hands here. And if you're just looking for a new dentist, this is a great option. The office is lovely and I smiled immediately when I came in and they were rocking out to Journey or Bon Jovi in the reception area. Definitely my kind of place. WHEW.
