During this time, HFM has managed most of my FMLA and disability paperwork. My condition worsened and it got harder to walk. I ended up injuring myself and went to my most recent appointment on crutches. For reasons I will never understand, HFM decided to drop the case at this point and stopped returning my phone calls. Without notifying me, they faxed the paperwork my employer completely blank, with a note saying that they couldn't find a medical reason for my disability, and that my employer would have to make do with whatever they had on file already. I found out about this 3 days after the deadline has passed. Fortunately, my caseworker is being patient with me, and she automatically extended the deadline for another seven days. But until I find a real doctor, I'll have no income, no treatment, and no information about my long-term outlook. It's getting harder and harder to do simple tasks, and I don't really know what comes next.

Then I get texts and emails a month later saying it is past due. Scheduling people are rude and they do a terrible job. If they don't like you they will pretend the only available date is a month and a half out and that there is nothing else available because they aren't required to do their due diligence.

The receptionist was very sweet, and Dr Tom gave a great adjustment. You can tell he's been practicing for a long time, but what really stood out was how much he enjoys helping people! This man was so amazign that I'd come back just to see him! I had an allergic reaction that required immediate attention. This had never happened to me before, so I was lost. I absolutely did not want to go to the ER, and this office was able to get me in right away. But more importantly, Dr. Hollie didn't just shove benedryl at me and send me away. He really examined the big picture, looked at my ethnicity and what my body type reacts to (I'm a unique mix of a mutt!), and within 48 hours my allergic reaction was cured. seriously, i'd come back to this little town just to see him.
