We told the front desk this and they gave us his costs. I paid the bill before I left the office. We were supposed to return after having a root canal. We did not. The endodontist told us to find an alternate dentist to finish the crown. Weeks later we received a bill for hundreds of dollars. The front desk receptionist was rude and dismissive. Stay away!!

Crowns look great, but what's underneath doesn't…read more After their initial root canal and crown (done wrong), I ended up with a year-long infection that eventually required an apicoectomy and then a full root canal redo by an endodontist -- who was shocked they had let it go so long (more than a year) and hadn't caught, on imaging, that the entire root canal seal had failed and was leaking. Right after the crowns were placed more than a year ago, I called them in urgent pain -- but they didn't answer for a full week because of "phone issues." In desperation, I went to a 24/7 dentist who misdiagnosed me. When they finally answered the next day, I went back because they knew my case and I didn't want to risk losing my new crowns. They loaded me with antibiotics, did the apicoectomy, and gave me a free bottle of "fairy dust" mouthwash, assuring me that time would help. It didn't. They could have caught this much earlier with proper imaging like an MRI and a timely referral to an endodontist. Instead, it was delay after delay, unnecessary procedures, and more pain than I should have endured. I will not be returning. I paid a lot of money for a nice crown with a hole in it.

(He said teeth are actually stronger without it...and yes, there would be a little shifting.) Since then my bottom teeth have shifted a bit, and our orthodontist still wonders why in the heck he removed it. But other than that, we've been happy! Beautiful office too!

Nice office with ample parking out back. The staff were behind a plastic screen and social distancing was enforced in the waiting room. They had an iPad for me to fill out the new patient forms and then I was off to the races. Gloves and masks were all in effect due to the pandemic and assuring public safety. My dental hygienist was super friendly and took me back right away. They had plenty of chairs at the location. This was one of the best teeth cleaning I have had EVER. She made sure and clean my teeth the way she would want hers cleaned. She also communicated as went with what she found. It was good to hear things like there was little to no plaque buildup, and just finishing up a couple of spots, etc.. Usually you just sit there and wait for it to be over. I enjoyed the updates of how things were and what she was seeing. ** Another plus. The doctor noticed in his practice that there was a need to capture airborne particles as they were cleaning. Most dentist the airborne particles splatter and go everywhere, your face, your glasses, on the hygienist, etc.. Because of this need the doctor created a device to hold a funnel on the vacuum to catch all those particles in the air. This allowed the hygienist to focus on the cleaning and not making a mess. The doctor had created it from PVC and it was light weight. It worked as intended. He could probably make a more refined solution and patent it. This is thinking outside of the box to make the patient more comfortable. Genius. Need more doctors that think like this. Front staff were super accommodating in scheduling and even made recommendations for things to consider. This was key as I realized that they were knowledgeable and not just there for clerical activities. It's not often you find a dental practice that is solid from front office to the back, but Draper Parkway Dental has figured out the formula for success and it has served them well over the years apparently. They know me by my first name and are always willing to go above and beyond. The dentil hygienists are extremely thorough with there cleanings as well as there gum and cancer screenings. They also make my time spent there comfortable and worth it. I always get called back to the dentist chair almost immediately when I arrive.
